I’m a very satisfied new customer tonight. Having this sudden urge for boba brought me here after a random look for boba on Unilocal.Someone was raving about their taro boba, and I see why. I also tried their garlic Parmesan boneless chicken and it was the perfect match for my tastebuds! I look forward to coming back and exploring more on their menu. I can’t believe they have been at their spot for 5 years and I’d pass right by. I definitely missed out. Now I know And… The man was very nice. I will be back soon.

This is purely a critique of their boba drinks. I went in and ordered a Thai boba. Their boba itself was good, it was the right consistency, just chewy enough but the drink itself was made alllll wrong. It straight up tasted like creamer. They did not put the right proportion of tea to creamer and I ended up throwing it out because I couldn’t taste anything over the super sweet creamer. Ultimately I was unsatisfied and am still in search of a good boba place in Bakersfield

Let me get started on this. So I’ve been coming here for 2 years frequently since me and my bf started dating. We’ve always ordered the 10 boneless wing combo, mild/sweet orange. And an orange boba. We’ve always had pretty good customer service here. The wings were great and usually came at an average time of 5 – 15 minutes depending on how busy it is, which was perfectly fine with me. So I’ll take you a year back when I ordered what I usually order and I forgot to say I wanted the boneless. The Asian girl(who always takes our order) got upset really fast when I had told her, feeling embarrassed on my part because i didn’t say I wanted the boneless apologized, but she still was a little rude. So that was the first incident. Today I went in at about 8:50, fairly close to closing. She told us she was going to put our food in to go boxes because they were closing up which was fine with me, when we received our wings my BF checked the box and it was bone in wings. I told her I ordered boneless and I told her very nicely. She got upset, rolled her eyes, and walked back to the cook. Seeing that made me feel uncomfortable. I rang the bell that was in front of me and just told her it’s okay, just give me my money back. She got quiet and rolled her eyes again. She was really upset by that time. She began to argue with me that I didn’t order boneless wings. I told her yes I did, I remember specifically telling you because I understand that I’ve done that before. She still argued with me. She handed me back my change, and when I proceeded to walk out she said something. I turned around and said«excuse me? What was that» and she said she lost money right now, referring to the fact that I asked for my money back. I told her«you know what, I asked for my money back because of the way you acted when I told you got my order wrong, you rolled your eyes and you were giving me attitude. I work in customer service so I get it. But for you to act the way you acted was disrespectful. I can’t believe you would act like that with is especially because we are regulars. «I don’t remember what else she said. She said something about«being a problem tonight». Very disappointed in this place. I always raved about this place to friends and family that they have good service. To be treated the way I was tonight was really surprising. I work at Starbucks. I can get the worst kind of customers. I’ve worked in a drive thru at jack in the box where customers have gotten in my face and I still responded calmly and respectfully. Customer service is huge to me when eating somewhere. It says something about the company. So I will not be eating here again. If your the owner and ever want to apologize here’s my email.

I’m not a wing connoisseur, but my boyfriend is(apparently), and he wanted to try the wings from this place. The owner was really kind and patient, the place wasn’t busy, it was pretty empty. We got one of the wing combos, and got the hot wings. Food came out quick. The prices are more expensive than those at Wingstop/other places. The hot wings smelled heavily of vinegar, and that’s what the main taste was– just vinegar wings. Maybe next time I’ll try the boba.

Third time coming here. Got some mild and bbq wings for New Years. Yet again the wings were great. Our order came out quick and service was friendly. The prices are well justified by quality and service. Definitely one of the better places in town to get wings.

The wings are great I have ordered several times from them and have never had a problem the chicken strips are awesome as well boba drinks are good too. The restaurant offer also offers different food options like bbq and I believe Koran food which I have not tried. But if you’re in the mood for wings this is the place to go.

I live fairly close to this establishment and have never made a trip in until today. I ordered their most popular wings, the lemon pepper, and they tasted outstanding. The skin on the wings were just the right amount of crisp and tender on the inside. A couple of the wings were just a tad bit undercooked. I also ordered the mild Buffalo and Garlic Parmesan wings, which were also very tasty. I would have also tried the bbq plates, but was told they take a while and I was in a bit of a hurry. I will be back to try more items on the menu. Overall first visit was a good experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wait time was decent.

So I’m updating my review… We are literally the only customers in the restaurant and have been waiting for my food for over 30 mins… The food is still good but they are taking way to long to make the food.

I had lunch with my son and we both enjoyed it very much. I had the BBQ Combo lunch plate and it was delicious. The meats were all very tender and tasty as was the salad that came with it. Add a touch of sriracha to the meal and it is perfect for me. I ordered a boneless wing combo for my son with fries and he gobbled it up! He enjoyed the teriyaki wings so much and loved his ketchup covered fries(no surprise there). After we ordered, there was a bit of a wait so they brought some potstickers out for us to enjoy while we waited, and enjoy we did! That was a nice gesture considering we got there right when they opened so they probably had to start the fire up as we ordered. Everything tasted great. We did not try any of their smoothies/boba so I have nothing to say about those except that I have to come back and try some next time because everyone that arrived after me ordered some version of one… That’s a good sign! We can’t wait to come back and try something new.

First time here, and it wasn’t too bad. The wings were big, cooked very well, but a little oily. Their Thai ice tea with boba was great. Their Korean food is great too. However, they took forever for your order. We order our food on the phone and still had to wait about another 10 – 15 minutes when we arrived to pick up the food. It’s a momma and poppa shop so I think they lack the employee help they need, so I understand. At least I know the food is made with real Asian authenticity. I would come back again but not when I’m too hungry LOL

Quick Sunday lunch stop with a friend. the KOREANSPICYNOODLE is the same as the Nong Shim instant spicy seafood noodles(if you know what i’m talking about, DONOTORDERTHIS!) The LEMONPEPPERWINGS8pc combo with fries was crispy but still really oily. I probably took a million napkins to dab off the oil from each piece of wing… the HONEYDEWBOBA drink was pretty yummy. but you can tell from the the taste that its just powder and ice… I expected more of a variety of wings, but its not anything better than BWW or WS, save yourself the trouble from driving out here and just go to BWW or WS.

The food here is always good. My husband and I always get the BBQ plates and they’re the best in town. We recently tried their wings and they are amazing as well. The only bad thing is their wait time. It usually takes an average of 30 mins to get your food(so call ahead if you know what you want), but its worth the wait.

This place is so rad. Small place, good food. I recommend the horchata boba, hot wings, ramen(it’s 25c ramen but gussied up), mac and cheese and fries. Sometimes you want a variety of cheap food, and this place takes the cake.

So I just ate here with my sister. I ordered the soy and garlic 5pc chicken strips and my sister got the mild 10pc wings. The soy and garlic were delicious and had a little kick to them. The strips weren’t thin which was good. The mild wings were great as well and were cooked nicely. The carrots were good and were seemingly fresh. Kind of picky when it comes to ranch so I wasn’t amazed by their ranch but wasn’t terrible! For drinks we got matcha green tea and mint and Thai Tea with boba. The green tea was really good I would get it again. The Thai Tea was alright it kind of had a hint of chocolate. As for the boba it wasn’t that great and was a bit frozen.

Best Wings in Bakersfield. 100x better than any other wing place in Bakers-tucky. Management is polite, friendly and all about customer service. Not to ruffle any feathers, but this is a WING place. The last few 1 star reviews are for ramen, drinks and fried chicken and BBQ chicken. Read this sentence over again if you’re confused. Wait time: I’ve been to House of Wings & Boba several times and its always been about 10−15minutes which is expected because she cooks the wings as soon as you order them. But the wings are fresh and steaming hot when you get them which is WORTH any wait — and there is also a good assortment of sauces. I’m a regular. Customer service is top notch. Wings are hot.

Wow, how does this place only have one location? I love chicken wings, especially Korean wings, so I was glad I was able to find this place passing through Bakersfield. Ordered the soy and garlic wings, along with the lemon pepper wings and a side of rice. The soy and garlic were really good, and not full of grease. Same can be said for the lemon pepper! Both were fried perfectly, and had a good crunch to it. Eating wings with rice is another plus. Prices were pretty cheap too… Service was really great too, and is family run. Our food came out pretty quick, and we were able to take out time looking through the menu without being felt like we were being rushed. Boba here on the other hand was kind of nasty. Seemed like the boba was just being defrosted, since about all of it seemed hard to chew and had that nasty bland taste to it. For first timers make sure to order the Soy and Garlic wings!

I went there to try out the boba, seeing as the reviews rave about the boba. Honestly, I’ve had much better. First of all their prices are a little steep. They have a nice variety of frozen drink. $ 3.49 for the drink, .25 for boba, .50 if you want extra boba, .50 for whipped cream. I’ve been to other places that sell frozen drink with boba and I didn’t have to pay extra for whipped cream. I got the coconut with boba, the drink was great, sweet, just like I like it. The boba is on the small side and almost taste a little like soap. I wasn’t impressed, really I have had better. I want to try their wings.
