Best place for comics and toys, the guy there is very helpful and polite, would recommend to anyone that loves comics and action hero figues!

The selection of collectibles here is impressive, but aside from that, I find myself disappointed every time I come here. I was a regular for a while, along with a friend of mine. The employees and owner never once remembered who we were, no matter how often we came in and gave them our names. I tried to buy a Batman figure, but the package was heavily damaged. I asked for a small discount (seeing as it’s a collectible item with packaging damage) and the owner simply said, «Nah, I’ll keep it at the price it’s at.» I know he has no obligation to help, but that’s basic customer service and good business. Disappointment after disappointment, and I’ve finally decided to never go back.

This is THE place to nerd out in Bakersfield, especially now since Leeters is gone. MBDE has all of your comic book, DVD, animé, action figure needs. They even have some LPs too.

If the word cool was capable of not being redundant, I’d use it until it was once again redundant will talking of this store. The first time i went i found a Japanese terminator soundtrack vinyl import. for like 20 bucks. Everything the nerd in you loves is here. I just wish it was bigger and was maybe easier to browse in; I feel a little claustrophobic occasionally. But then, I don’t mind when pushed against the wall of collectible bman figurines.
