Mountain Mike’s Pizza

I called here to order pizza to have it delivered to our kids house because we were going over for pizza and it was our treat and I wanted to handle the cost and the hassle of ordering and having it delivered. So I get the info of what they like and where they order from.
So I go online to see the menu so I could see what other options they had since the kids just like pepperoni and the sizes too. Ok they had the usual suspects pizza that come in small, medium, large and what I would suspect they consider XL 20″. All different styles, but the kids are basic pepperoni eaters.
So I call and tell the young gal on the phone that I wanted to order the pizza to be delivered to my kids house and pay for it to be delivered at 6pm, this is 3pm. First she asks the address to see if they deliver to this address, which I knew they did because I did my homework and asked the kids where they order from, duh. So after being on hold for 10 minutes she confirmed they could take the order. I told her I’ve never ordered from them before but my kids had and I knew that that address had been delivered to before.
I opted for a XL pepperoni and an XL 4 topping pizza and when she said it would be $ 61 and some change I wanted her to tell me what I ordered again? I figured for that price I’ll take them to a restaurant. She said I was getting a two times pepperoni and a XL 4 topping. I said I didn’t need 3 pizzas just give me the two pepperoni since how she explained it to me I was taking it as I was getting 2 pepperoni pizzas. So she said ok then it’s $ 36 and some change and it will be there at 6pm. Ok fine. She took my credit card # didn’t ask for a phone # said it would be there at 6pm.
So we get to my kids at around 5:45 and lo a behold a door knock at 6pm and what to my eyes one pizza. It was a very large pizza but one pizza. Ok now it’s Christmas pizza night with the kids and I’m sitting here with one pizza. I think the people on the phone need to be a little better trained on how they communicate to their customers. First off $ 36.00 for one XL pepperoni pizza was a total rip off I would of stopped and got pizza where we usually order where it is just as good and you get more for the money. It was big and had an abundance of pepperoni but not nearly enough for a price tag of $ 36 ouch!
I don’t think their pizza was superior enough to be as over priced as it is was. I won’t order here again and it’s a shame from this pizza fiend.

With so many toppings sometime the dough is not cooked all the way and can be gummy. But the toppings are delicious. Next time I’ll ask for less toppings

I called in an order to be picked up at a specific time which was approximately an hour later than when I was calling, and the pizza was hot and ready when we picked it up. I ordered a large three topping pizza and the very friendly young woman gave me a discount by only charging me for a two topping pizza.
The pizza was very good with a generous amount of toppings. It was pepperoni, black olives and mushrooms. I would have liked a little bit more sauce as it was slightly dry but it was very tasty.

This pizza is different. The crust and dough was a weird texture. The pepperonis were bland and the rest of the pizza. I think this joint is overpriced. I don’t think I would ever order from here again. I couldn’t enjoy the pizza when it was cold.

The quality of this pizza is amazing! The pepperonis are nice and crisp! I believe it makes their pizza great! The dough is fresh and crispy! I’ve only carried out so I can’t say how deliver or dine in is but I’ve been happy every time! The wedges are also great! I can’t say much more good stuff except go and try it!
I do feel the price is a bit much but, you really do get what you pay for its worth every penny!

I think hands down this pizza is on the top of my list of favorites! My favorite is the pepperoni pizza but I’ve tasted most of them and I can say you can taste that it’s good pizza! I always go there and even more happy that they opened this one up down the street from my house! And they have pool tables and games and it’s always really clean so I would recommend anyone to mountain mikes on Panama and stine or Stockdale and California

Been to this mountain mike’s pizza before but never experienced such crappy service as I have now. My food took way too long to come out and when it did not all of it was ready. I decided that I wasn’t gonna wait any longer than the hour I had already waited. I just asked to cancel the rest of my order that hadn’t came out and get a refund. The «Manager» came out said the pizza had already been made and she wasn’t going to cancel. I am still clueless as to why they didn’t give me my pizza if in fact it was already made and just sitting in the back. She was not apologetic and in fact was the one with the attitude even though I’m the one that was waiting forever! I was not offered a discount in anyway. I wasn’t looking for anything in return (other than my refund) just pointing out that she could care less about her customers. I am pretty disappointed with this location and surprised how poor her managing skills are. I would recommend that for the price and better service you could find somewhere a lot better to dine in.

I got a large pizza and buffalo wings for take out, the toppings on the pizza were good and seemed to be high quality and plentiful but there is a lack of sauce and the dough is not good at all. Very average pizza overall. The wings are nasty! There is something wrong with the chicken they use. The meat is like jello or fatty like very gross to say the least! After 1 bite of their wings I spit it out and threw them all away. I would not recommend this place for wings for sure.

Uh oh… I got my second pizza from them today. Same toppings, and great delivery service (he was a really nice guy). Unfortunately the pizza wasn’t as good. It wasn’t cooked long enough or something, and the crust wasn’t crisp, it was soggy and tasted and looked doughy in the center. The edges kind of tasted like Digiorno. Not so good and I’m not so sold now. I’m kinda sad and I’ve removed two stars.

Wow, this was good pizza. I got delivery so I can’t comment on the restaurant but the pizza was great. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of toppings! This pizza was loaded. And it was really good, the cheese is real, the toppings fresh and there was a smokiness from the oven that was just wonderful. I will certainly order pizza there again. Actually I don’t see any reason to go somewhere else.

Went to go ask how much longer the pizza was gonna be, (we were in the party room) they tell me they delivered it. Turns out they gave it to the wrong people.. They gave me such a hard time to give me a refund since this blonde girl kept of insisting that it wasn’t their fault. I found that so ignorant because the number that they gave us was sitting right in front of us and I think it was obvious for the girl who was taking the pizzas to see the number. Moral of the story, instead of helping us the blonde girl (I didn’t grab her name) was rude. I’m happily on my way to Me and Eds.
