I came to Dr. Hall after being recommended by a co-​worker during a dental emergency, and I have been nothing but amazed. From the after-​hours line to actually sitting in the chair every experience has been met with class and compassion. The staff is extremely friendly and educated and the whole atmosphere makes you feel comfortable. I had a lot of work done one day and Dr. Hall called me later that evening to check on me! I have never had that kind of treatment and it meant a lot to me!!! I recommend Hall of Fame Dental to everyone!

I havent been impressed yet they take a long time to get appointments also. Other than that pretty standard dental practice.

Dr. Hall has been my family’s dentist for over 30 years. Lots of fillings, crowns, and three sets of braces. Dr. Hall is the only dentist my now adult children have ever been to. They were both about three when they began their dental check ups. He shows a great deal of patience with children, and realizes the importance of making the whole dental process as painless as possible. Both of my children had challenging teeth that required braces, and with Dr. Hall’s skill in orthodontics they now have beautiful smiles. Dr. Hall is a believer in «getting it right the first time». That’s why any work that requires an outside source, I.e., crowns, etc. are made to match or improve your own teeth. And if for some reason, a crown is not made to his standards, he will be the first one to recognize this, and send it back for a replacement. Dr. Hall is a perfectionist and his work shows this. His staff is amazing. Friendly and professional at the same time.

After a horrible experience at another local dentist office I called Dr. Hall’s office to schedule for a second opinion. I was able to be seen that same week and when my previous dentist refused to send over a copy of my X-​rays, Dr Hall X-​rayed my mouth again at no charge. After speaking with him extensively on what my issues were, he referred me to two specialists to get a better understanding as to what exactly was going on. It was determined I needed a root canal in one of my back teeth and while Dr Hall does not do the root canals himself he does have an endodontist that comes in once a month or so, Dr. Mack– who is amazing! I was offered nitrous at each appointment which is another nice bonus although I did not need it. Dr Hall has always made sure to explain exactly what he is doing and what to expect after. The hygienists are polite and talkative and the front desk is mostly courteous and helpful although one of the billing gals does get a little snippy at times. Hall of Fame is a nice clean office whose staff seem to genuinely care about their customers

At my first appointment I was comfortable immediately. The staff so friendly, very informative. I had severe migraines for years, Dr Hall told me I had tmj. I gave in because of suffering so badly from migraines and neck pain I asked for treatment. I have been off 4 types of migraine prevention meds as well as break thru meds and all within 3 weeks. Not to mention my treatment is making my teeth beautiful. I recommend this Dr for all your dental needs. My entire family goes here and love this place. He has truly changed my life. I love the staff they ate so welcoming and informative.

Dr. Hall is the best so is the office staff. But the best reason to keep going back is Leeann.

I had an awesome experience! The staff is kind and knowledgeable! The dentists are both amazing! I had my fillings done and no sensitivity at all! The last time i had fillings replaced they hurt for months! Amazing, amazing experience!!!

I absolutely love coming to this office. Dr. Hall and his wonderful staff always make my visits so relaxing and easy. I used to hate coming to the dentist until I came to this office. I would recommend this office to everyone.

Absolutely horrible experience from a terrible staff that is poorly managed. Waited three hours for the appointment, the dentist was okay, but the staff totally screwed up the billing so that even though my dental insurance (Dr. Hall was in network) covers 2 exams a year, I fought back and forth with them and no luck. I called the insurance and they verified that it would be paid. But I called the office and asked them to again send the info to the insurance, but low and behold 2 weeks later I get the Bill again. I finally just paid it to avoid collections but will never ever go back. Do yourself a favor and go see Jimmy duong at custom dental right down the road. 2 minute wait or less every time, and zero insurance billing issues.

This office is pretty incompetent. I moved here from Houston and was looking for a new dentist. I’d had a root canal done about 8 years ago and this dentist said I needed a crown on the tooth with a root canal and scheduled an appointment for it the next day (separate note: not sure why I’d need a crown since this tooth was healthy). This was said to be a 60 – 90 minute appointment. It also wasn’t mentioned that I’d need a second appointment. I’ve never had a cavity or crown – and was a new patient. Probably worth mentioning the timeline and what they were planning to do. They also couldn’t tell me how much it would cost, and just scheduled the appointment anyways saying they’d tell me when I showed up for the procedure. It took about 4 hours – causing me to miss another appointment with a $ 120 cancellation fee that I ate the cost of. They also told me near the end of the 4 hour appointment that I’d need to schedule the next appointment for 2 weeks later. When I was going to be out of town – like I said – the second appointment thing would’ve been nice to mention before filing away my entire tooth. When I did show up for the second appointment, I sat in the chair for about 30 minutes before someone came and told me there’d been a mix-​up. They’d confused me with another «Amanda» (what kind of doctor bases medical records on a first name not ID number or full name or DOB??) and that my crown wasn’t in yet. I don’t understand how that’s possible since this appointment was scheduled to make time for the crown to be made. I drove from about 2 hours away to make this appointment, I work at night and skipped sleeping during the day to be here, and accomplished absolutely nothing. The incompetence here is a little overwhelming. I would not recommend this office unless you want to deal with endless bullshit.

After being again disappointed with another Bakersfield dentist, I decided to try this office based on the Unilocal reviews. The staff took the time to explain to my son and I just about everything they were about to do. The dentist removed the silver fillings that contained mercury which had been placed by my son’s previous dentists. They also put a sealant on small cavities to prevent any more fillings even though they could have made more money by doing the fillings. These dentists seem a lot more honest than the previous three dentists offices that have treated him since birth. The staff were so awsome they even showed my son how to brush and floss his teeth better.

I hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Hall is the man! He and his staff go out of the way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. They develop a treatment plan, explain your options, and are expedient in the process. Everyone I have dealt with in his office is great. My entire family is being treated by Dr. Hall and we are grateful we found him.

I can’t rave enough about Dr Hall. I have been to a few dentist around town and in other states and I have never felt so comfortable and pain free. The quality of work was far superior and more than exceeded my expectations. The work I had done was one crown and to fix all my cavities and restore my whole mouth. I also had all my old amalgam mercury fillings removed and replaced with all white fillings. I personally think the skills Dr Hall has is comparable to skills it took to paint a Rembrandt or Picasso painting. I am so thankful in a small town like Bakersfield, we have a dentist that is this talented. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about Hall of Fame Dentistry. If you have been searching for a dentist you can trust and you are reading reviews stop here and understand this review comes from my heart. Dr Thomas D. Hall is more than qualified to take care of all your dental issues. His staff is very nice to work with as well. Matter of fact I almost didn’t choose to go to this dentist office because I was calling dentist and asking questions and basing my decision off a few reviews and phone calls. His receptionist told me in a way that grabed my attention. She said that Dr Hall has clients that have moved away out of town and they make the drive to come back to town just to continue his treatment. I decided to take the chance and thank our Father Jesus Christ I did… look no further if you value your mouth as much as I do. Dr Hall will fulfill your all your dental care needs. I am also a local business owner and I found out that they give a cash or credit card discount when you pay for everything in full.

Love this place, I’m that patient that’s petrified of going to get work done but Dr Hall has such a calmness about him it makes me relax. His entire staff is friendly, as soon as you walk in there’s this sweet blonde lady that greets you her smile is contagious. I’ve had a lot of work done there and I am very pleased with the outcome. If your looking for great dental work this is the place to go

I have been going to Hall D Thomas DDS for the last 5 years. I always have a great experience. Friendly and experienced staff, latest technology, clean facilities, timely services, and they even work with my insurance to maximize my benefits… Couldn’t ask for more. I have already recommended it to my friends and family.

I recently moved to Santa Cruz and the saddest part about it is that Dr. Hall isn’t my dentist anymore. He WAS my dentist from the time I moved to Bakersfield in 2001 to early 2014. He is amazing. My entire family still goes there. His staff is insanely caring and very helpful. His receptionists have actually done personal favors for me before when I couldn’t find my insurance card. I’m not sure if I should advertise that, but they’re that good.
Believe it or not, I actually looked forward to going to the dentist. The people are warm and up to date on the latest tech for their job. The best part is that if you have a cavity they have equipment so they wont have to drill! How awesome is that?! Don’t get a cavity though…

Nice office, latest stuff. But Dr. Hall doesn’t communicate well with patients. He just tells you what he thinks you need and doesn’t explain why. Gives you very few choices. Might be great for kids but I don’t appreciate that.

The staff is very nice. The appointment was on time. I did wait a little long for the dr but I did want a consultation for something else too. The dr is very welcoming, he introduces himself and tells you a bit about his story. That’s nice, not all Drs. care to talk to you so that’s nice to hear him introduce himself. He asked me if I had any pain or any concerns to begin with and then went over the x rays with me. He answered all my questions and made it easy to understand, after all he said dentistry wasn’t rocket science so he is funny too. I will be coming here for all my work. I do appreciate a dr who listens and cares for the way I want my teeth to look. I recommend this place.

Absolutely love Dr Hall. I have gone to him for over 25+ years. I had to go somewhere else when he was off for medical reasons and it was not the same dental work, his is by far the best I have ever had. I love his staff and he is just a great dentist, always makes me the chicken in the dentist chair feel totally comfortable… and yes they have gas! I need a little because I have super fear of needles in the mouth and it makes me not give a hoot. But really if you need a GOOD dentist this is your guy I love his work and he does not do unnecessary dental work, just what you need. Seriously I never thought I would say I love a dentist since I hate to go but he is absolutely the BEST!!! And I have to give his Hygienist a kudo too she is fabulous too best cleaning ever!!!

I always feel very confident that I will receive the best oral care and only the care for what is needed. In the past, Dentist’s I have seen tried to convince me I needed extreme procedures for my pearly whites (unnecessary Root canals). Dr Hall and his staff are very thorough and honest in my treatment.
The office has a very relaxed atmosphere with a lot of very cool photography. Especially beautiful, is a canvas picture of Dr. Hall hiking near an alpine lake.(I wish I could go there)
I feel no anxiety whatsoever when visiting the dentist now.
