This was a nice place to stop in for a banh mi! I got the grilled chicken one, which was $ 4 and was about a foot long — good portion! The chicken wasn’t the most flavorful I’ve had and was not cooked to order(just reheated), but the bread was nicely crusty and the pickled vegetables gave everything a great balance. I also liked that the jalapeño pieces in my sandwich were sliced lengthwise and did not include seeds, making them less intense than some other ones I’ve had in banh mi. Next time I want to try their guanabana smoothie — it’s rare to see this fruit included in a smoothie and it’s so delicious that if the drink manages to capture it’s incredible flavor, I’d probably bump this place up to 5 stars!

3 times visiting this place within the last year. The banh my is pretty okay, probably the only thing that worth 2 stars. Drinks are bad This place doesn’t even have business hours in the front. Unilocal said it opens at 10 am, I came it at 10:30am and the owners barely came in at the same time. Wait 30 mins for a banh my and coffee. Employee/owners are rude. Employees/owners making comments about customers in their language right in front of them. A very sloppy business.

Very good sandwich. Ordered the grilled chicken, beef and pork. Bread was just right. Because they have a buy 5 get one free I decided to get a Thai tea smoothie and milk tea. Very good!!! Only complaint is that it took a long time. Come here if you have the time to wait while they prepare your stuff.

wowzers!!! pulled up to this place and a guy was standing out side smoking, walked in and low and behold it was the guy that takes your order, he didn’t even wash his hands omg! the funny thing is they have a yellow sign up about washing your hands by the cash register. he was the one that made the bobas, i kept telling my husband to tell him to wash his hands but he didn’t. we laughed about it after, i kept telling my husband he smells like cigarette and asking him if he smoked. I would assume every person working at a place like this would wash their hands every time they had to make something for a customer to be sanitary and follow the state law requirements. for sure we will not be coming back.

Hidden little gem. Their phở is delish and their boba smoothies and drinks are soo fresh. They don’t use powders for their bobas so the prices are good for the quality of fruit. All of their food uses very fresh ingredients they use in all of their food. Order the phở with non instant noodles takes longer but tastes sooo good way better than the other phở place up the street.

Cool little local Mom and Pop Boba and Vietnamese Sandwich shop. The lady at the register was very nice and took my order and immediately went to work on my food. There is only two people working which I think are are the owners so you have to be a little patient.(Good things come to those who wait) I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich with a passion fruit ice tea. The ice tea was quite refreshing but a little on the sweet side. The BBQ sandwich was delicious. Bread was crispy but as soon as you bite into the baguette that soft interior accompanied with the pickled carrots, jalapeños, cilantro and sweet tender chicken taste make one delicious sandwich. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch or snack.

Song Parody #535 Review 1,357 Unilocal 3652016 Review #10 I love you, how could I not love you, Vietnamese sandwich. I have been here many times but recently, co-workers brought me one of the sandwiches, everyone was raving about it. The thick, yellow bread was very fresh. The crispy onion and veggies set the sandwich off. The meat was delightful, like spring time. I will be back here many more times, for now, I will sing about this Vietnamese Sandwich. Song parody of Chicago’s 1984 song«You’re The Inspiration» You know I love Vietnamese I want to taste your buns forever All the thickness that I need With the fresh hot taste in every bite Tell me so Ti mai ch có rnh không? Always on my mind, in my plate, in my bowl Baby You’re the sandwich in my life You’re the inspiration You’re the Viet in my life You’re the inspiration Wanna taste your smoothie I wanna have you hear me Unilocaling Unilocaling about how much I need you And I know, there is pork and tender beef Satisfied when were together Even though, there are other sandwich treats Love you now, until the end of time Tell me so Ti mai ch có rnh không? Always on my mind, in my plate, in my bowl You’re the sandwich in my life You’re the inspiration You’re the Viet in my life You’re the inspiration Wanna taste your smoothie I wanna have you hear me Unilocaling Unilocaling about how much I need you I want to eat you dearly My love for you sincerely, baby Let me tell you how much I need you You’re the sandwich in my life You’re the inspiration You’re the Viet in my life You’re the inspiration When you love a sandwich Until the end of time When you love a sandwich Always make me rhyme When you love a sandwich Until the end of time When you love a sandwich Always make me rhyme

I love mom and pop shops! This place uses the freshest ingredients! Had their phở and to be honest I was a lil skeptical but was glad the owners recommended it, cuz it was packing with flavor and had a ton of beef in it. They customize your order without rolling a eye or giving attitude which is a plus in my books cuz I customize everything! I love love their passionfruit drink! FYI, the owner told me they will be offering more vegetarian items soon

Found this little gem of a restaurant tonight as our normal Phở place was closed. Stumbled upon it and had the best meal! Being that we were all sick with colds the beef stew and chicken ramen hit the spot. Also tried the beef sandwich and pork sandwich along with a milk tea boba for my daughter and kumquat smoothie. Very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Will go there again when we’re craving Vietnamese food.

I was so excited to have a new Vietnamese sandwich place to try nearby. First impression in walking in is not being greeted. It was really dark inside and had a strange vibe, not very welcoming. The guy behind the counter was alone and seemed preoccupied with prepping or something. No help was given to me nor the people in front of us for quite some time. I also noticed their menu which had many items crossed out in sharpie. One being bbq pork, which is pretty much a staple in Vietnamese banh mi right after dac biet. We left dissapointed and hungry because of the lack of customer service, and lame menu. Obviously this place is a family owned business, and I would have loved to support it. That’s too bad they can’t even help themselves. Please put a little more effort and pay more attention to detail into your business. Your business represents you, and right now I’m thinking it’s a little ghetto.

I walked in and waited in front for over 5 minutes. There was no service, and you can see the guy behind the kitchen prepping. The guy did not greet us or ask us to wait to be helped. The people in front of us was also waiting. I don’t like how their menu is getting smaller for some apparent reason because you can see them crossing food off the menu which was disappointing. We came to help support small local businesses, and they can’t even have a full menu with any service. It was disappointing.

I’m not exactly sure how this place got 41⁄2 stars the Thai tea boba and a bbq pork sandwich wasn’t very good. The sandwich was bland and the boba tasted old. The service was okay nothing special… I would not recommend this place.

Love this place. It’s well priced and the food is simple and yummy! Their smoothie drinks are also really delicious! I just happened to see their sign while waiting at a red light. I whipped my car into the parking lot and haven’t looked back. I think it’s family owned, and everybody is super sweet and more than willing to help with suggestions on something delicious from their menu! Check this place out and save yourself a drive to San Gabriel.(; Enjoy!

I had a pre-op appointment in Baldwin park today. Took forever and was starving! I stopped at this random hole in the wall! They serve banh mi sandwiches with meat(gross), but they have a vegan ham option. It was freakin DELICIOUS! I got a passion fruit boba drink with it which was also amazing! The nice woman behind the counter added strawberries to my drink. The only place I’ve come across that uses actual passion fruit in their drinks! Overall, I’m very full and satisfied!

Quiet little spot with average-priced and average-tasting boba drinks. Some seating if you wish to dine in but nothing really for a party bigger than two or three. They also have bahn mi sandwiches along with other food. Ive had the bahn mi before and its pretty tasty. Fairly priced as well art $ 3.50. $ 15 card minimum. If you don’t hit this minimum you have to pay $ 0.50 extra. Its a bit difficult to hit this unless you’re buying both food and drinks for two people. The slush is pretty gritty. They could do with a better blender. The boba balls here are pretty starchy. They give a good bite but could use a little more sweetener.

I really enjoy coming here for the delicious drinks and sandwiches. Today I got the Green Apple Smoothie with boba, which tasted really good and hit the spot. I also got the BBQ Chicken Baguette, which I absolutely loved. Just watch out for jalapeños, I forgot to order mine without, but it was still super tasty :) It’s really great to have a place like this in Baldwin Park. And I like that their menu is in English and Spanish; that shows they really researched the area. I might bring my mom and dad here next time. And I won’t have to explain what everything is lol.

FINALLY a Vietnamese joint close to my work in City of Industry. This place is really new to the area and already garnering faithful customers in part to the many, many, cool, refreshing, or hot drink options. From boba, Thai tea, to smoothies, and the ever delicious and satisfying Vietnamese coffee you will definitely find something you like here, and yes even fresh fruit waters. The place also carries those super delicious Vietnamese banquette sandwiches for which I am already planning another visit to have one as they looked so yummy that my taste buds are watering just thinking about them. Little hole in the wall space across the street from In and Out, but it is within this space that you will find something different, delicious, and at an awesome deal, aside from the usual Mexican food available throughout this city. What an awesome and perfect place to open a Vietnamese restaurant. Definitely will become a regular customer for sure.
