Garden View Care Center

Very unsatisfied with personnel and administrative office. They are short staff on CNA’s and they are over booked with residents. I came across with CNA’s with bad attitude and confrontational. Our experience there was horrible. My family member was only there for abut 2 ½ months. That is why I took her elsewhere. She did not get the proper care she needed. To begin, they take a very long time to attend he call light. there were times where her diaper was soiled for over an hour. Instead of getting better she got worse that I had to pull her out of that place. Due to their lack of personnel and not caring for the real sick, my family member got an advanced bed sore that she was rushed to the hospital. They blamed my family member health condition instead of stepping up. I recommend you get a tour and research before taking your loved one to any Nursing facility place.

This facility has an amazing friendly, professional, compassionate staff. Prior to coming to Garden View my mother was in a extended hospital facility that didn’t give us much hope for a recovery. I knew my mom wanted to recover she just needed the proper medical rehabilitation attention. Upon arrival my mother and my family were greeted in a warm home like setting. The staff made themselves readily available to answer questions and the following day the amazing therapist had my mom up and was administrating physical therapy at a level that my mother can handle and progress from. My family and myself finally have hope for recovery for my mother and cannot wait to have her home.

A couple of years ago my family and I were faced with the difficult task of choosing a nursing home for my father.
Prior to becoming a regular visitor at Garden View, I used to imagine nursing homes as being dirty, smelly, and horribly sad. Thankfully, Garden View was nothing like what I feared. Instead, their facilities were very clean, their physical rehabilitation room was top-​notch and their staff was beyond amazing!
It’s difficult to not be able to provide the type of care your loved one needs. Trust me, my family and I never thought we would ever be in the market for a nursing home. However, after visiting many nursing homes, and reading reviews, we were lucky to snag an opening at Garden View.
My dad lived there for a couple of months and they were difficult months for our family but the staff made it bearable. Knowing that there were hard-​working and caring individuals around the clock is what allowed us to sleep at night.

Garden View Acute Rehab is an excellent facility. The employees are so dedicated that they seem like family! The building is old, but it is kept in top notch shape and is very clean. Everyone who works there seems to enjoy helping the patients, and are friendly to visitors and family. After trying newer, modern places with a lot less staff, we were glad to come“home” to Garden View.

Certified 5 out of a possible 5 stars! The building and facilities could use a facelift, but the quality of service is top notch.
