This Wendy’s in near my house, so I always end up here when I’m looking for a quick bite to eat. My issue is not with the food, but with the slow service. Doesn’t seem to matter whether I use the drive thru or walk in, service is always S-L-O-W. What I can’t seem to understand is that they have plenty of people behind the register, but the people who work here all seem to be running around aimlessly. Such a disappointment since this Wendy’s is located on a busy street in Baldwin. My only recommendation for anyone thinking of going to this Wendy’s is to be very patient. Also be careful when driving to the drive thru window, as it is very narrow back there.

Clearly some people have a problem with this place, so I’ll just hit the major points, since I work nearby and get food from here regularly: Food quality: This is where they shine. As far as fast food goes, the food here is pretty much ALWAYS fresh. Likely because of it’s location right off Sunrise highway, so they stay busy and it doesn’t have the chance to get stale. Plus, Wendy’s is better than McDonald’s and Burger King generally, with regard to what they offer(chili and salads, etc). Drive through: Yes, it’s a crazy narrow drive through that has a funky angle. It’s certainly large enough for anyone to drive through(whose been behind the wheel long enough to know how to handle their car). That said, the multicolored scratches on the guard rails to either side tell a different story. If you see the drive through and think, «I don’t know if I can fit through there,» just park in the parking lot they have and walk in. There’s always plenty of spots. Service: This is hit or miss. Weekdays? No problem. Weeknights and weekends? Kinda slow. There were only a handful of times where I’ve gotten frustrated. Still worth it for the freshness of the food they serve, though. Accuracy: This is where they fail. I’ve lost track of how many times they didn’t include part of my order. Seriously. From sauces for the nuggets, to ketchup for the fries, to entire sandwiches, their consistency in forgetting to include something I’ve ordered(and paid for!) boggles the mind. Which isn’t a problem if you’re eating there(you just walk back to the counter and let them know, they’ll fix it quickly), but when you go through the drive through and are ½ a mile away before realizing they didn’t give you part of your order, it’s infuriating. My only advice is when you go through the drive through and they give you your stuff, DON’T drive off before checking your bag to see that they gave you everything you paid for. They might not like it, but trust me on this. I’ve donated too much money to them already from food I’ve paid for and didn’t get. Long story short… great, fresh food, but be careful with the drive through.

For a Wendy’s located on a busy street like this one it’s a shame that there drive thru looks like it’s Taylor made for motorcyclists. Seriously if your not confidant in your driving skills I strongly suggest you park your car in the mass parking lot and walk inside. The drive thru is so tight you’d have an easier time trying to stick your dick through a cheerio. Anyone who can make it through the whole drive thru experience without scratching your car deserves a gold medal. Second star is for decent quality food.

The drive through is ridiculously tight. And kinda confusing. I thought i was going to a dead end i barely fit the work van through it. The food is typical Wendy’s greasy slop. Now for the staff. The cashier named Josue pretty much rushed me through the order didn’t tell me the price. I pull up to window get food and ask for a sweet and sour sauce she pretty much told me to F off with her face and eyes. Seems like any Wendys i go too the staff is rude and unfriendly. Screw wendys im done. NEVERAGAIN !!!

I have been going to this Wendy’s since it opened. Weekday service is excellent because the crew is regular and have been working that shift for quite some time. Now the downside is that the weekend crew is absolutely terrible and they are different from the weekday crew. The weekend crew is also much younger and they appear more high school and young college aged. Weekend service(drive-in & walk-in) is slow and many times they give me the wrong order, so I always double check before I leave. The positive note is that the store management is very responsive and have addressed my complaints over the years. There is however still some work to be done. With that in mind it is fast food after all and these jobs are thankless and low paid, so I tend to cut them some slack.

Really slow service. Drive thru took almost 15 minutes for a small order. Btw, this drive thru has to be the most narrow one I’ve ever been in. Fries were soggy and under cooked. But then again, what do you expect from a fast food spot like this.

The food is the food… It’s pretty simple to heat up the worst thing we could eat… My one star god to the lovely female that didn’t have no gloves on the entire time I was in there, during that time she used her phone, used the fryer etc… The best part is when she cleaned off her disgusting crocs on her feet then handed the drive thru girl the food item by item…

For late night, just got off of work, I’m starving, I don’t care if its healthy I like to get Wendy’s. I love that they have a spicy chicken sandwich and love their honey mustard! Review for my last visit: I went there pretty late at night. Ordered a chicken sandwich meal with a coke. Sandwich was fine, fries were fine(I’m an understanding person I don’t expect them to be making fresh fries when its slow at 1 am) but the thing that got me so disappointed was my drink!!! I can’t believe I’m say this, I’ve never had a complaint like this before. The soda was warm and had no ice because it had melted. I was so thirsty and wanted a nice cold soda, not something watered down and warm. Putting ice in a cup and pressing a button isn’t hard, Please don’t pre make them lazy lady.

Pretty standard experience. Food was what you’d expect and the wait time was a little longer than normal.

I love Wendy’s and that being said this Wendy’s kinda sucks. I’ve gone there 2 or 3 times. Everytime I’ve gone there the service is really slow and the food is on the cold side. It is not the cleanest Wendy’s I’ve gone to either.

Yes, they have the fancy new soda machine, but the service and quality of food is never consistent. The food tends to be on the cold and bland side at this location. The service also tends to be on the slow side, depending on the time of day you go. I guess no one should expect too much from a fast food joint!

I’ve frequented this Wendy’s since I was a kid. I’m not sure what happened the past couple of years, but something went awry(new management perhaps?), and the establishment went downhill. There are a lot of negative things about this particular Wendy’s: — The drive thru staff messes up nearly every order. Only on super rare occasions do you get an order correctly. — About 90% of the time in the drive thru, you’ll get someone who barely speaks English and has no proper sentence structure(this person speaks very choppy English and doesn’t understand what you say, and you don’t know what the person is saying to you). A person working the drive thru should be able to communicate with customers using a language that the majority of the customers speak(like English). Having someone bilingual working at the drive thru would be a great idea. — A lot of the time, the drive thru people don’t put your order on the screen after you order. The only way you can find out how much you need to pay is by going up to the window. – which then makes the line longer because you have to figure out how much to give them. It’s a little bit counter-productive for a fast food service place to thrive on being«fast,» but slow up the drive thru queue. — They also don’t give receipts. For whatever reason, the machine that prints receipts is always broken. The person working at the drive thru told my boyfriend and I it would take ten minutes for them to fix and print the receipt. Twenty minutes later, we received nothing. My boyfriend was brave enough to get out of the car and demand we get a receipt. We finally got it. — This has gotten a bit better over time, but sometimes a certain Frosty flavor is broken. Their machines seem to break down a lot. — They don’t have or serve Ginger Ale(despite the fact it’s listed in the drinks section online and on their cups). It’s a huge bummer for me because if I could get it and add cherry flavor, I could make my own Shirley Temple. I have to settle with Sprite and cherry, but it’s just not the same. Otherwise, no complaints on the food itself. It’s not too shabby. A fun tip: You can save a ton of money if you order a Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe on the Value Menu. It comes out to $ 1.60 plus tax. It’s basically a mini burger of awesome. Edit 9÷4÷14 — This place still sucks.

Worst Wendy’s ever. The store is dirty and can’t get your order out quickly. I have stopped going there, but today decided to give it another chance because of the ads for the new iced coffee. I drove up to the drive in around 9:10 am but no response. Drove around to the window, no one there. parked and walked up to the door. This store doesn’t even open until 10 am! What kind of fast food restaurant doesn’t open until 10 am? The least they could have done was to have a sign on the drive in noting that they were CLOSED. That’s it for me with this Wendys…

Transaction inthe drive thru could not have been smoother– I said what I wanted, they gave it to me. Total time in the drive thru was around 10 minutes at lunch– a travesty in the world of fast food service, IMO, but seemingly becoming the norm. The country is falling apart.
