Great place if you are looking for staples and notions and getting a lot of fabric in bulk. The coveted coupons offer 50% off and 40% off regular priced items, however not eligible for sale items. BUT, there are tons of sales all the time so if you need something, just wait a week or two and it will be on sale. It’s my go to for sewing and quilting supplies. The fabric is not going to be the quality that you’ll get at a high end quilt store, but there’s a huge selection and great for smaller projects that you need a particular fabric for. Also my go-to for batting as you can grab it on sale and not have to sell your body parts to pay for it and finish a project. Also check out the clearance items, it’s not like holiday stuff will every really go out of style — just out of season. So, if you have a place to store stuff, it’s a steal!

Perfect for any crafty project. They have buttons, bows, fabrics in any print you can think of for dress making, flannel blankets, head scarfs, wraps, skirts, etc. They sell sewing machines and offer classes. They sell sewing accessories such as baskets, needles, beads, hot glue and so on. Upon checkout make sure you’ve signed up for coupons so you can save 20% off your entire purchase. Beware: the check-out lane is filled with lotions, chocolate, and knick knacks to run your bill up last minute lol

If you need ANY kind of fabric you are likely to find it here. With holiday wreath and bow making I have been in here quite a few times to buy tulle, burlap, deco-mesh and ribbon. They have some fun and funky burlap and lots of other items to get your creative juices flowing. While I am not into making my own jewelry they have a scandalous amount of jewelry making supplies. If you are looking for ribbon they have a wide variety to choose from in a variety of fabric types, widths, and colors. Even if you are not into sewing or crafting they have some nice decorative stuff and you are sure to get inspired to do something creative.

Seriously understaffed on a weekday. I understand that weekends are busy with lots of shoppers, but honestly they need to have at least 2 people at the cash registers on the weekdays. When it’s not busy, one could be doing something else close by. They have some yarn colors at this location that the South County location doesn’t have.

I think I have found my new favorite craft store. Lately, I have been into making my own pillows therefore which led me to here. I walked in and immediately found hundreds of different fabrics and materials. After 5 minutes, an employee asked me if I needed help and she happily helped me find my new perfect fabric for my next craft project. I wanted to note that this store is very well organized and love the fact that many of their employees are arts and craft people as well. I will be coming back very soon!

Finding me at a fabric and craft store is like finding me at a Weight-Watchers meeting. Out of my element. .. . like, totally! I’ve been here twice in the past month. Who knew! First visit was to match some buttons lost from clothing. Yes, I hauled my clothing into the store. Nobody said a word, thank goodness. But I also needed a new needle for my sewing machine, as I’d bent mine sewing my youngest son’s heavy-duty shorts. Poo-poo to me for trying to sew through so many layers of cloth. I was getting no-where fast, so I abducted an employee stocking the shelves to help me find the needle I needed. Say that five times fast! She was more than generous. Showed me the location of the needles and matched me up with a «universal» needle(of which I’m always wary) and a «heavy-duty» needle for the likes of which I was sewing. That worked incredibly! Today, I needed a sewing machine lightbulb so I could SEE to thread the dang needle! Again, I abducted an employee stocking the shelves, and she was incredibly helpful in getting me the correct light bulb. I walked in there needing a $ 2.50 item, and walked out $ 70 poorer! What on Earth happened? Well, this joint isn’t just a fabric and craft store. They’ve got cookbooks, magazines, soft-socks, alll manner of tins if you make cookies or candies to give as gifts. .. including the lining paper and foil! Christmas cards. .. and on and on! The place was packed with EVERY age group that walks the Earth! Checkout was wonderful. Instead of having to guess what line to get in, you get into one universal line. Everybody gets in it. And today there were seven checkers. When their last customer leaves, they call you up. Rather ingenius, expeditious and noboody had to fret that they’d gotten in the line behind the woman whose purchase didn’t compute well with the cash register. Ahem! As an aside, OK, I spent $ 70 for a $ 2.50 lightbulb, but I SAVED $ 24.46! The end-caps are full of specials! So, sue me!

The selection and organization of the store are great, but I was in the store for 30 minutes or more and wasn’t acknowledged by any employees until I was at check out. Luckily, I managed to find what I needed on my own. Daunting for a non-sewer.

I’ll start my review by saying, I’ve not been in many Jo-Ann Fabrics. I do know, however, that this location has a TON of nice«designer» fabrics for«home» use. I am in the process of picking out curtains for every room in my house, and haven’t been a huge fan of the stuff I’ve seen in stores. I came here hoping for some inspiration, and I definitely went home with a bunch of fabric samples. These definitely aren’t your grandma’s curtains! Great selection, great patterns and colors. I’ll probably be back to buy some fabric to make said curtains :).
