The last few manicures here have been ok. Today was just plain awful. It looks like I gave myself the manicure. Not what I expect after paying $ 15. The guy could care less. He was watching YouTube videos during my manicure. I won’t give them my business again. I would suggest you do the same.

Love, Love, Love this place. Nice clean and friendly nail spot located in Belvedere Square. This was my second time here. Greeted as soon as I walked in the door and didn’t have a long wait before I was sitting in a chair. I had my 5 year old niece with me whom was getting a pedicure in the Hello Kitty Spa chair for kids. She loved every minute of it. She almost fell asleep. We will be returning.

First time at Babylon. Had the classics mani-pedi. The service was good. My hands a feet look great. Will definitely be back again.

I had a nice experience with my pedicure here. Overall the staff were nice and the technician did a good job. The place was clean and the experience was relaxing. For a classic pedicure, it was $ 25. They accept visa and master card but you cannot pay a tip with your credit card.

I must say, I’ve had nothing but good experiences here. Nice interior, nice attitudes and they do a good job. Even though the last gel polish change I got, I did not enjoy but the pedicure was nice and the other time was nice. If anything changes I will certainly Unilocal it!

I had a horrible experience here. My technician basically«went through the motions» — he didn’t cut my cuticles, file or spend any time on detail. I have never had a manicure like this, and I would qualify this as the worst I’ve ever had. I hope the service improves. I would not recommend going here.

I’m giving 3 stars because the owner does the best waxing and it close to home. However the pedicures aren’t that great been twice and got the basic pedicure and manicure was not impressed at all. My feet were rough the next day and I think it took him all of 20 mins to do my pedicure. I will go back for waxing but not any nail services.

Came here in June with a few friends after school was out for a pedi treat. Service was okay, but my massage chair was half broken. I thought the pedi looked alright, but it didn’t last very long. When I removed it a week later, my two big toes were brittle and yellow! I have been fighting a fungus ever since… and it ruined sandal season for me all summer. Don’t go here.

I really wanted to like this place. It seemed nice and a lot of the people who work there are very friendly. Unfortunately, the manicure I got here was pretty bad. Between leaving the building and getting into my car it smudged significantly(which maybe is partially my fault for not waiting long enough? I do feel that the drying stations were seriously lacking). To add to that, my cuticles look worse than when I went in and my hands are dry to the point of peeling. I won’t be going back.

I used to live in Fells Point and went to the other Babylon Nails location regularly. I was back in town after a few years and heard they opened a 2nd location. So I wanted to see my favorite lady — Abbey. Even after being gone for years she still remembered my voice and what services I needed. It is rare to find business owners who do that anymore. It is because of the level of customer service and wonderful nails and waxing that I will always go to Abbey and Babylon Nails when I am in Bmore.

Hmm– reviews seem to be a bit misleading! I have been visiting Babylon for pedicures pretty regularly(at least once a month for 2 years?) and have never had a bad experience or been unhappy with my nails! They are reasonably priced, clean, and super-nice! Some people are better than others(i judge on the quality of the leg and foot massage!), but you have that anywhere. I say go to babylon! They hooked me at the canton location, and when i moved, i was happy to see them at belvedere square!

I am new to the area and this place is by my house, so I decided to check it out. I’ve been a few times, and I think it’s a perfectly good place to go in and get a quick and relatively cheap mani-pedi. It’s not the best mani-pedi I’ve ever gotten, but it’s definitely a good deal for the price. I’ve only been in once that it’s been super busy(that was on a weekend and I still didn’t have to wait to be put in a pedi chair). The technicians are friendly and efficient. It’s also always clean and organized, which I appreciate. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you’rein the neighborhood!

I just went to the new location in Belvedere Square. I was so excited to see them open, as it’s only a few minutes from my house. I decided to treat myself to a mani and pedi. The atmosphere was pleasant, they weren’t busy and they took me right away. The guy was very nice. The mani and pedi took a LONG time(almost two hours). I would have been able to overlook the time commitment if it weren’t for the pain that I was still feeling. FIVE days later, and my heels are still SORE from the guy taking off too much dry skin. This has never happened to me before. He also ripped and poked at my toenails so much that he made me bleed. I have never experienced so much pain or blood from a pedicure before. NEVERAGAIN.
