This place is a wonderland. There’s nothing like it for hundreds of miles, nowhere you can buy miniature bat-toggle switches, ICs, copper-clad fiberglass boards for making your own PCBs at home, chemicals, books on ham radio, and all the esoteric cables, connectors, and adapters you might desire to interface with equipment that’s archaic or modern. This is the place to go for baluns, RF pigtails, and pro-grade soldering equipment. Their margins are high, but their staff are experts and the selection is top-notch. However, they are not absolutely reliable. Occasionally they’ll be out of stock of some particular long-handled miniature screwdriver you really need. And their website is kind of a joke, with a musical Flash intro. I love them regardless.

I couldn’t believe that this store hadn’t been reviewed, let alone added to Unilocal. If you are familiar with E. Joppa Road, you might have seen the sign«COMPUTER * RADIO — TV * PARTS» visible enough so vehicles can view it. This is where Baynesville Electronics resides. I came here looking for a star bit(something smaller than a T10) for an electronic I needed to take apart. After searching through multiple«well-known» equipment stores, I could not find it. However, after going to Baynesville Electronics, I was able to find T7, T8, and T9 bits with no problem. I believe I paid $ 2.19 for an individual bit(might be off by a little). There are more things than just bits and parts they sell. If you need headphones(good ones at that), there are plenty to choose from. Computer parts? Yep, you can come here as well. Have a question about something? The employees can surely help you out. That’s another thing: the customer service was excellent. I will definitely be back here for any electronic-related issues.
