Chicken Run

That was some bomb chicken I just had at Chicken Run! I will definitely come back.

The cheesesteak scrumptious! The owners are so friendly and service is fast! Will be back again!

If you’re looking for an authentic Baltimore chicken box, I suggest that you head over to Chicken Run. It’s a hole in the wall place and strictly carry-​out only, but you’ll find delicious food.
I had the 4-​piece chicken box with western fries, or potato wedges for you non-​Baltimore residents, and some half and half (arnold palmer, not dairy) for lunch. The chicken was moist and the skin was crispy. I’ve had chicken boxes all over the city and this ranked up there as one of the best (Lexington market also has good chicken boxes, but parking is terrible). The western fries, which were made from scratch, came out crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. My girlfriend ordered a cold cut with a side of mac and cheese, which she really enjoyed. But the chicken was the highlight.
Keep in mind that there is parking right in front of the place, but If you’re not looking for it, you’ll probably miss it driving on York rd. I don’t know what it is about Baltimore fried chicken boxes, but definitely something I need to have once in a while. Go experience it.
