The venue was great with very tasty food! The actors were spot on with their characters and overall story was good. I highly recommend it. Just be aware that participation is paramount to the experience. It was a smaller turnout for our show on Halloween and people in the crowd really weren’t big on participating. Buy online and check to see how many tickets are still available if it’s just two of you. Though I wouldn’t let it deter you if you(and your guest) are inquisitive and engaging.

This was so much fun! You can just watch the action or you can really get into it and participate with the actors. Funny scripts I and great acting. The food and service at the Grand was really great. I was visiting from out of town and this was so much better than any local shows in the St. Louis area!

The Do Or Die Mystery Dinner Theater is so much fun and a great value. We decided to try it out, because I found an Amazon Local deal and we enjoy this type of theater. They put this on at the Grand Historic Venue every last Saturday of the month. The owner(CJ) makes sure to explain everything that goes on and that any special needs for guests are taken care of. Compared to other mystery dinners I have experienced, this was more interactive, because you participate in the show — Great, if you are a super-sleuth. If you are, then you are really going to enjoy this show. Also, I don’t go to these for the food, but the food at this one was really good and very well presented. There are a few things to remember if you are planning to experience this: 1.) Cocktails — Bring cash, because the bar does not accept credit cards. Soft drinks are complimentary, but they are only free during the dinner service; 2.) Overnight Accommodations — If you are staying in town for the night of the show, the Lord Baltimore, Sheraton and Monaco Hotels are a «super-short» walk away. There is an Embassy Suites next door, but these other options are available if you can’t get a room there, and; 3.) Parking — There are garages either across the street of a short walk away, so there should be no worries about finding somewhere to park.
