Dunkin’ Donuts

This is the worst Dunkin Donuts I’ve ever been to. Like many others I have had several incidents were they have seemingly gotten my order wrong on purpose, then argued with me when I confronted them (I mean how do you mess up a black coffee!) I’ve seen them talk about their customers after they leave including cops who got free coffee.

Really not much to review here one way or the other. Everyone behind the counter is of foreign origins with thick accents and the gentleman who waited on me was pleasant enough and he thanked me for my purchase which I always appreciate, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that this dude had a giant planet Mars red bruise smack dab in the middle of his forehead. If I had to guess I would say it was about 6 centimeters high by 4 centimeters wide with an incalculable depth. Now I personally had no issue with it, but I can see where it might give one pause about ordering food here, or even a scenario where a small child in his mother’s arms would be at eye level with that thing and become frightened and blurt out something inappropriate. I just hope whatever that is he’s had it looked at by a highly specialized team of physicians and has been cleared to work in a food service facility. The parking situation is not the weirdest I’ve ever seen, but it ranks in the top 10, being a lifelong Baltimore boy, while munching on my Bagel I was trying to remember what was here before and I believe it was a used car dealership with an office trailer right where the DD building sits now. And if I’m correct, then that would explain the odd angle of the lot. As for the «Scenery» maybe I came at a bad time of day, but I didn’t see anything that stood out, either inside or even while I sat in my vehicle, but at least my Bagel tasted okay. This is the WORST location I have ever experienced! I’ve gone in gas station ones that gave better service! Being from Mass where this started and where Franchise HQ is, I was just so disturbed leaving here.
I asked the owner for a «plain bagel whole NOT cut» and he turns and looks behind him and in a very thick accent he says «we have none, there is whole wheat. So I look over and before I could speak the girl says there’s one. So I said «please make sure it’s plain (it looked darker) and he says «no problem» — then I asked him for a chips ahoy crunch donut (and told the little girl w/​me that it has «crème» inside — she said ok. Then I ordered a coffee & Boston crème donut. Pretty simple order. I get all the way home and inside the little boys bag (who I bought the bagel for) and it’s cut in HALF with tons of cream cheese and was microwaved!!! I was livid. I called to speak to the owner and literally said «Hi, may I speak to the owner that is at the cash register please?» The Indian man who answered says «please speak slower». He clearly could not understand English because I was clear and not fast! So I repeat again louder and slower, and he starts to interrupt me and say «you can’t talk to me this way!» Yelling at me! I said «you are telling me HOW I need to speak and I’m a customer!» You messed up my order, you can’t put the owner on the phone and now you are telling a customer HOW to speak. I said maybe you shouldn’t answer the phone at the business if you can’t understand people. He finally puts the owner on the phone (now I am totally flustered and without patience) and told him the problem and he blames it on the little girl!!! I said she did NOT ever say cream cheese nor did I! I said when she ordered her donut I simple told her it had cream filling in it and he heard me! She said that was ok. He ignored ‘Plain whole bagel» because he wasn’t either paying attention or just wanted to charge me more $$$! He never apologized and just said «to come back»!!! I said I won’t be inconvenienced further and come back to a place where the staff is SO rude and unaccountable for their action/​mistake! He hung up!!! To top it all off the bagel was gross!!! Melted cream cheese all over a microwaved bagel! Never again will I step into that location. Ever.

If you come in the morning the staff is friendly in the evening the service is at times beyond terrible. The parking lot is too small especially during the morning rush forcing people to park on the sidewalk and on South Western Blvd.
In the mornings the drinks are usually made well. At night more than likely they aren’t up to par. This location is like two different stores in different neighborhoods depending on what time of day you go. My friends and I usually opt for the Washington Blvd location or even 7 – 11 in the evenings to avoid the terrible evening experiences we’ve repeatedly had.
I would have no problems with this location if the evening staff was replaced, I could even over look the inadequate parking.

Service is very poor. I went in today to get a coffee. The place was empty, not a customer in sight, except for me. I ordered a coffee. I asked could they rinse the cup out, before putting the coffee in. The person behind the counter said” we don’t do that here” I said what don’t you do, I am buying a coffee. Not impressed. I just wanted the cup rinsed and the place was empty. I thought i asked a reasonable request. Did the employee have some place to go, me think unemployment line.

First of all the parking is horrible. There’s about 10 spaces for parking. In first thing in the morning last thing you want to do is fight for parking or drive circles. The cashier that placed my order seemed like
She hated life and that she hated her job. But it’s another franchise food place so service is always going to be hit or miss. So for something on the go it works. Just don’t expect to get in and out quickly due to parking

This is one of my favorite Dunkin Donuts. Everyone is so friendly, and during the morning rush they are polite and efficient. I go there so much they know my order!
The only gripe I have is with the parking lot, it is this odd shape which makes it difficult for cars to get in and out of during the rush. So if you can, back in to make your life easier when it’s time to go!
