Wow, the BEST pastries and bread ever. Not to mention how good it smells in the store and everything was soft and delicious. Thankfully I live an hour away from this yummy store otherwise I would be 700 pounds lol!!! The best tasting kosher bakery in town!!!

Two years in a row I have been coming here twice a year getting cupcakes for my daughters for their birthday. And every time I have been buying a day or 3 day old cupcakes because could not arrange to come a day early. Today 08⁄28 I have come to place an order for tomorrow. I have been told they don’t take any more orders for tomorrow. They also just showed me someone else’s order they had just canceled for $ 30. I WILLNOT buy ever from this shop ANYTHING again. I recommend you do the same before they call you and tell you they can’t don’t!

What a lovely bakery. A large selection of fresh baked breads. they even offer frozen challahs you can bake at home for Shabbat. I ran a bakery for 5 yrs so I’m very particular. It amazes me that people on Unilocal would leave a review before even trying the product?. Honestly I don’t think that even warrants a review. The place was very clean and there is also a large selection of Jewish pastries. One thing in particular I liked about this bakery was that they also catered to diabetics. They had a nice selection of diabetic treats. This is extremely rare to find in a bakery. So far I’ve tried the cookies, eclairs, breads and a Danish. They have a large selection of cake to choose from as well. The prices are also very reasonable.

Best bagels in all of town. Family resipe. And the best part the bagels are 41 cents each so they are cheap as hell.

I was passing by and thought I might go in and check out the treats. Before I stopped in, I read the Unilocal reviews and then felt jaded. I walked in looking for the extrordinary and really didn’t see anything all that exciting. The displays had pastries and goodies that you would expect out of any bakery display including the supermarkets’. So I left, and without a purchase. Perhaps, next time I will try the products but they really didn’t look like they would impress.

The staff is lovely, but the previous reviewer’s suspicions are correct. In order to maximize profit, Goldman’s, Seven Mile and other area kosher bakeries just get many to all of their baked goods from factories. That is why they do not taste particularly delicious, but just okay. I wish someone with an actual pride in producing excellent food would open a kosher bakery in the area. My motivation for writing this is to maybe spur a little movement in that direction. I recently visited an excellent kosher bakery in Oakland, California and you can taste the difference between factory– and bakery-made goods.

Goldman’s Kosher Bakery is fairly decent. One of the many kosher bakeries located on Reisterstown Rd. The apricot rugelach and raspberry kichel are my favorites. Their cookies are alright also, but everything is just ALRIGHT. It reminds me of cookies that were made in some factory and shipped to various locations. I found most of the kosher bakeries in the area to have similar stuff that seems so manufactered. Whether this is true or not, I do not know. No matter where these sweet treats come from, they are fairly tasty. If you are in the area, pick up some rugelach. The women that work there are very sweet =)
