Found two good gluten free choices — bison nachos with chickpea chips(delicious cumin flavor) and gluten free pizza crust. Spinach and artichoke with an herb sauce and ricotta and mozzella. Excellent. Super friendly and good for young families. Enjoyed it very much and will return!

I would say A-Ok for now. When it comes to pizza I prefer NY style(thin/plain) so I am a bit critical when it comes to pizza. I used a groupon to take the hubby out for a quick bite to eat. It was his Bday his choice so he ordered the BBQ Chicken Kale for us both. It has a vinegary bite too it that wasn’t palatable for me. However they do have a good happy hour with drink and wing specials so not too bad. Next time I go I will try ordering just plain.

This Chicago native may have just found the best pizza on the east coast. I was completely blown away by the pie at HomeSlyce in Baltimore. This pizza is truly incredible. Typically I alternate hawaiian, buffalo chicken and margarita pizza but the«HomeSlyce Classic» caught my attention and I couldn’t look away. Just listen to these ingredients: HomeSlyce Sauce, goat & mozzarella cheese, walnuts, eggplant, spinach, caramelized onions and roasted peppers. I was a little weary of the walnuts, but it paired well with the goat cheese, and added a good crunch. The veggies were small, equally spread out, perfectly cooked and went surprisingly well together. And the crust! I could go on and on about the crust, it was like nothing I have had before. This is a must try, and it will be very difficult for me to order anything other than this pizza.

I LOVE HomeSlyce, but we usually go to the Riverside(SoBo/South Baltimore) location. We came to the Canton one tonight because we’re going to a Christmas party a few blocks away. I’m in here now and I’m kind of regretting it. We’re the only two people in here and it’s been tough getting any attention for some reason. All the wait staff seems like they’re in terrible moods and are loudly grousing about something. The bartender is especially moody. We love the other Homeslyce because of its cozy, happy, friendly atmosphere, which this place is seriously lacking this time around. :(

Bad customer service. Didn’t even want to assist me because of my race I’m sure. Very rude but pleasant to white customers.

This restaurant charges liquor tax for non-alcoholic items. To anyone who visits this place please look out for unsuspecting/strange charges on your bill. I had NO alcoholic items when I visited, and I was forced to pay a TAX for that. Very weird.

This Homeslyce is the Canton location of the quickly-growing local chain. Like the other locations, it has a very relaxed feel, although I think the rustic/industrial decorating theme is a little forced here. The bar level is a little on the cramped side, but there is a seating area upstairs as well as tables outside on the sidewalk. They do have a great beer selection and the pizza at Homeslyce is always fantastic. There is a Skeeball machie upstairs, but I never did find out what you redeem the tickets for. Maybe next time.

My friends who live in Baltimore love this place and it’s right around the corner from them. They go here for drinks, dinner, and for their skeeball league. We went for the same… a little of everything. The whole upstairs portion of the place was empty and we had our drinks and played some skeeball there. The woman who served us was awesome and super friendly. The pizzas were delicious… it took me a little time to decide what I wanted because there were so many options and ‘make-your-own’ pizzas that it was hard to decide. I went with a ricotta meatball basil pizza and it was amazing. Pretty inexpensive for a really good size personal portion — 10″. The salad ‘slyce’ that my friend got looked awesome too. I highly recommend going here for a casual, semi divey, and delicious experience. We ate outside and it was awesome. The weather was beautiful and it was an added bonus to our night.

I had a dreadful first time delivery experience and vowed to never order from here again. About 2 – 3 months later I caved and ordered a pizza but made no mention of the prior debacle. When the driver showed to my house, it was actually the owner. He apologized for the way the previous order had been handled and said he had only learned of it after the fact. I don’t know how they kept track of me but I was very impressed that the owner went so far above and beyond. Top it all off, the pizza was delicious! Since then, we’ve been back a few times, for dining in. Last nite, I ran into the owner again and he recognized me and thanked me once again for continuing to patronize the restaurant. The man must have the memory of an elephant to remember my face! Needless to say, he has definitely won me over, both with the great food and his warm attitude. My only complaint would be that there are never enough people working. One bartender upstairs who has to run up and down for pitchers and drinks and beer… Not even a bar back to assist. Makes for long lines.

My boyfriend had completed his first half marathon and was really looking for pizza for dinner. We hadn’t ordered from anything local but HomeSlyce sounded good and also had gluten free, without a $ 6 upcharge. We decided to order for pick up so we could snag some beer on the way. The place is clean but small, with some nice seating outside. I was greeted and rung up right away. Each pizza came with some grated cheese and red pepper flakes, which was a nice touch. Yummy! We’d order again.

You really can’t beat the $ 5 sandwich deal on Thursdays. I actually think I like their sandwiches more than the pizza. The bread is almost like a pizza dough, delicious. You can get a sandwich, fries, and little salad all day long for $ 5…incredible deal Pizzas are good, not my absolute favorite in the neighborhood but definitely legitimate. The«slyces» are my favorite since its like a giant pizza boat and you get extra crust which is my favorite part. They have skeeball upstairs and some of the social sports leagues play here or come by the drink. Decent place to watch a sports game since they have some big screens

Ordered a pepperoni 10″ & White pizza with garlic herb sauce… Fantastic and is now the top three pizza places in Baltimore. Yes– that is a bold statement and yes I know my pizza. Pepperonis are just like Pizza Johns– crispy perfect little grease cups. Cheese is stringy and could choke you — aahh pizza porn. The white pizza with four(booschie)cheeses was a knockout– I am a genius that added caramelized onions and walnuts– do it. Mommy & daughter date… Didn’t make it upstairs to the game room– as I imagine it’s really for the use of the drunkard young yuppies with no kids… I grew up on Kenwood Ave and seen this corner turn into literally 10 different establishments; if Home Slyce can keep up the quick service and fresh ingredients — it may stay for the long run.

Been here a few times since their grand opening. Since then, they really have gotten it together! The last time I went, I was disappointed by their food, lack of knowledge, and service. Ever since, everything has gone up. Bartenders Davis, Heather, Aylan, were AWESOME! They were friendly and provided awesome service during Skeeball. I just realized about this Salad Pizza thing, and I’m so glad I did. I loved getting the caesar on top of my pizza. The flavors together made my taste buds so happy. Glad to have this restaurant in the neighborhood!

I love love love that Homeslyce came to Canton! I live in Federal Hill and refuse to eat at that location since the service has been consistently bad, but I still love the pizza and want to enjoy it. This location is huge with two floors and plenty of tables and seats at the bar. It is bright and the décor at the downstairs bar is awesome and industrial. I always bounce around between the Chicken Pesto, Margharita, or Spinach and Artichoke Pizza and highly recommend each of them! They also have great beers on tap and rotate them pretty regularly.

The pizza here is great! This is largely due to the vast selection of toppings which are fresh and tasty. You can even choose from regular or beef pepperoni and lamb/beef meatballs. There are way too many toppings that I like to list here, so just check out the menu. If you are like me, you want more than one topping and don’t want it to fall of the slice. They solved this problem by forming your slice into a boat for you to load up. One slice is more than enough food and is even cut into 3 pieces. The sandwiches are great too. If you like spinach and either like or are impartial to feta cheese, you MUST get the spinach pie(which is not a pie at all)!! It is so delicious! The only thing I had that was just okay was the cannoli. It was under-filled and not that great. Worth the visit! Delivery available using Order up.

As with any opening of a new location/business there are always a few bumps when you start out. But there are no longer anymore hiccups here. Last night I ordered a 16″ pizza with roasted garlic, caramelized onions, pepperoni and ricotta. I decided to try the wheat option and even got it delivered through OrderUp. I got the pizza to my door ONLY18 minutes after I ordered… and I don’t live just down the block. I couldn’t believe it. The pizza was piping hot, the pepperoni was crispy and all the veggies fresh. The ricotta was a bit light but the taste was fantastic! This experience changed the way I look at both HomeSlyce and OrderUp. I will continue to be a loyal patron if this is the status quo.

I love the new Homeslyce location in Canton. I’ve eaten at both the others and this is my favorite! The pizza is great– bread addicting, fresh ingredients, and unique combinations! The renovation looks great– with a rustic industrial vibe. The servers were really nice and helpful. The whole place gave off this great relaxed neighborhood feel. They also do delivery– I ordered from them friday night. They were quick and the pizza was hot and fresh. The girl I spoke to was very helpful. They even deliver wine– I got a bottle of merlot. Perfect for an at home date night– delivery pizza and wine! I am excited they are part of the neighborhood and will definitely be coming back!

This is my first visit to a Homeslyce– I’ve read great reviews on Unilocal for their other locations, so I was excited to have a great experience! We came on an afternoon a few days after they opened. The place had a great face lift and they put their own footprint to make the previous restaurant become their own. There are a lot of great beers on tap(about 20?), not sure if these change around or stay static but when we went they had some good ones including some of my faves like Stone IPA, Loose cannon, and blood line(written ‘blood orange’ on the wall). The beers are a bit pricey, Stone IPA was $ 7.50– their happy hour Monday through Friday makes the beers 5 $, but with other local places offering better deals such as Mahaffeys right around the corner serving up three 10 oz beers of same quality for 6 $- it isn’t the best deal you’ll find around. We ordered two pizzas– 14 $ each. the touchdown(which had feta, spicy meat, onions, and tomato slices) and a half peperoni half meatball. The pizzas took about 15 minutes to come out– they looked great when they arrived but the taste didn’t deliver for me. The pizza had a corn meal crust that you could whipe your hand on and have little gritty pieces of corn meal drop all around. The touchdown cheese and toppings weren’t hot when it arrived and the dough was a little undercooked. It created a mushy mouthful that wasn’t very pleasant. The peperoni were small crispy peperoni with grease pooled in them and the meatballs were broken a part chunks of larger meatballs. Both these topping were pretty good, I think I’ll try their meatball sub next time. But again the gritty corn meal crusted that was undercooked– I’m not sure if they have the right pizza oven in place yet at this location or if this is their style. Since they opened a few days earlier, I’ll have to give it a few weeks and try it again. Our server was very friendly and did what he could with the little knowledge that he had– he was working the bar and the restaurant on his own(only about 8 people there) and didn’t know what any of the beers were. Probably a good idea to get out some flash cards on his down time and memorize what beers they have and what type of beer each one is. Again, something that will likely improve as this location gets more experience… but when you have unique beers, it’s good to be able to provide people who haven’t had them before a bit more information All in all i’d say that the remodel of this place was quite successful– the location is good and it’s nice to have a new spot in town. This experience left me questioning the taste of their pizza — but I will go back after they’ve had some time to get things in order. I will write an updated review accordingly. Hopefully as the time goes on they’ll get a better happy hour going to match surrounding places

Love love love. How could I not love this place? It’s right around the corner from my house! The pizza was spot on, The décor is really nice, the staff is polite and helpful, and they were great neighbor. I stopped in on day one to try a HomeSlyce, their signature item which is somewhat like a calzone only it’s open faced. My food arrived in just a few minutes and it was hot and oh so good. I got the meat lovers one which they called the strongman and asked for no sausages were they followed. I’m not exactly a pizza connoisseur but I know good pizza when I taste it. This pizza is really good! But you have to try it yourself. It was hot, crisp crust and good cheese consistency. It is no wonder they won best pizza in the March City Paper. The inside of HomeSlyce is very warm and there’s a nice bar on both levels and ample seating. They have to skee ball tables on the upper floor but you can play for $.50 a round and there is a league that plays there on certain nights. The bar is stocked on both levels with many taps including local beers. Try it soon!
