We need more smoothie options in Baltimore. I don’t feel like this establishment uses fresh fruits. The smoothie was okay but was $ 4+. I agree with the other reviews, there are not enough choices nearby. Opportunities are out there for smoothie businesses!!! The competition is low, very low.

This place really wasn’t very good. The tapioca bubbles were often hard and chewy. The smoothie/drink is made of powder rather than containing any real fruit. The only reason I kept going back was because I wanted bubble tea, and sadly, Baltimore has not embraced the concept. There is no where else!

My friend and I ordered 2 bubble teas. I got the chai, it was very good with the perfect amount of boba, my friend got the milk bubble tea, she loved it. The owner is a lovely woman who made our drinks as we requested. I read the other not so great reviews, and have to disagree. Kindness always wins, just ask for what you want and she will happily prepare it for you. If you don’t like something, before you slam the business, talk to the manager/owner/proprietor and they will usu correct your order.

This was probably the biggest rip off I’ve had with bubble tea. I ordered a thai tea with tapioca, minutes later I was served with a thai tea which barely tasted anything like thai tea(it was lacking the sweetness) and there was barely any tapioca, I saw like 5 pieces probably. All this for $ 4+? Really? They do take card here, but if I were you just save it. Not worth your time or money.

So this is edible boba in Baltimore… but the tapioca balls were way overcooked and the tea had a weird aftertaste… Let’s say if there were any other choices nearby, I would probably go elsewhere. But there aren’t any other choices. So I can see myself coming back here since I live nearby, sigh.

Stingy with the boba pearls and the taro tea was way too sweet. I got a pretty rad tummy ache. I’m pretty upset there isn’t a really great boba tea place in Baltimore. :/

I usually get pineapple smoothie, coconut milk tea or the regular milk tea with boba. I think the milk teas are great. I am not the biggest fan of the smoothies though. The past two reviewers mentioned that it doesn’t taste powdery to them but to me it does or something of that nature– like syrup? I prefer to get an actual fruit smoothie. As far as the boba– I became a huge fan despite the calories and I’ve had it in the asian area of San Diego, Chinatown of LA, New York, and Philadelphia. I was excited to find it here and at the Joss Café and Sushi Bar on Charles and it doesn’t compare to the ones I’ve had in the past, it is often overcooked and not as soft, however I will still continue getting it because it still satisfies my needs and the next closest place, is pretty far away.

If you like really expensive sugar water, you’d like this place. I got a blueberry smoothie and a peach tea. They both tasted like the syrup from dole fruit cups… but $ 10 worth. Had a quarter of the drink and threw it out cause I didn’t want diabetes.

If you’ve been to Harbor Place, odds are you’ve heard the sounds of «SMOOTHIE! FREESAMPLE!» shouted at you as you’ve walked past Jasmine Smoothie World & Tea. This put me off the first couple of times I walked past, but I’m a sucker for smoothies, so I gave it a try. I found smoothie nirvana! was a happy girl until I moved to DC. Then it was no more smoothies for me. I think it’s the gooey fruit that they put into their smoothies that make them so good. It’s either that or crack. They are soooooo delicious and taste better than the tasteless mush that most smoothies are. I’m a mango smoothie girl and usually they taste like NOTHING. Only Jamba Juice comes close to getting this right and guess what? They aren’t exactly centrally located either. So, I suffer through a mediocre smoothie existence until I can get back to Baltimore. I’m going back in a couple weeks to meet with my wedding planner and we’re meeting up in the Inner Harbor so I’ll be able to get my first Jasmine smoothie in about a year! According to their website, they’re opening locations in Virginia, so I’m hoping that they’ll be arriving in the Fredericksburg area soon!
