M & T Bank- Hopkins Square at Charles Village

As a frequent bank go-​er, I can confidently say this branch consistently provides the worst customer service possible of all the banks I visit. This location is a major reason why I stopped being an M&T customer. Lured to open a checking account with the promotional offer of a cash bonus, the account was never set up correctly (no ATM card and no checks ever received) and it took many visits and phone calls to finally get the bonus after 4 additional months.
Pro (just 1)
–Clean, albeit tiny branch with very little natural sunlight since it’s mostly in the basement
Cons
–long lines
–the branch manager, Keenan, is an unpleasant man with the looks to match; refused to apologize after screw-​ups
–Others sitting in the office are equally incompetent; could not help me with the issues but told me I should call the HQ
–Tellers provide adequate service but with a bit of attitude
