Our state agency is using this building for years. We had 4 divisions of our agency in this building, but 3 already had to move out because of the poor conditions. The water pipe bursting is a constant issue. Often you will be sitting in your office and suddenly a waterfall will drop from the drop ceiling. Personally, I have been here 3 years, have heard of 7 waterfalls, and personally seen 4 of them in action, even took a video. Just last monday morning, we had 3 rooms were damaged from water pipe bursting over the weekend. Actually, it was worse than that, 12 floors were all damaged. The maintenance crew is very slow to fix anything. In fact, when they do fix anything, they will put in some old used items in place. I have my AC in my office not working the entire summer. They finally replaced an AC unit 2 weeks ago, but it is old, moldy, rusted. It worked for one day, then it stopped. They came up 3 times to fix it, within an hour, it stop working. They never fixed the issue. Better yet, when I went up to their office on 610, they have brand new nice AC unit. How nice. The men’s room door lock is also another fix, but they refused to replace the lock. And that means sometimes the key will turn, sometimes it will not. We had opened trouble tickets to have things to take care of on our floor. They would go ahead closed the tickets and not resolve any issue. How can this go on for so many years? Poor management, and even worse maintenance crew!
