Papa Johns is one of the few that deliver to Fells Point. I have actually ordered from this location before and had ok experiences, but today? was ridiculous. I order at 11 thinking that was plenty of time for the pizza to arrive and me to eat and make my 1 pm meeting right? Wrong. I ordered online and got the confirmation at 11:11. At 12:10 I called the store where I was immediately in online hold for almost 20 minutes. When a human finally came on, they young lady said«its on its way.» I ask how much longer and am told«don’t know. We only have one delivery driver today.» No offer to call the driver. No offer to credit my account. So I ask. She puts me on hold and says, «the next time you want to order, call us and it’s on us.» I don’t think I will be taking her up on that offer. Pizza finally arrived. A full hour after the email said it would be here. It is all squished to one side and is so cold that all the cheese has hardened back up. I think this may keep me from ever ordering papa johns anywhere again.

I have ordered there a few times and it was fine, but today I found a hair in my food. It was a long hair lodged under the cheese. I threw away the rest of my pizza. The hair in the pizza makes this a one star.

This Papa John’s is probably the worst in all of Baltimore. It has adults and kids who work there who obviously don’t care in the quality of the food they make. Delivery takes forever, you might as well google how to make pizza dough, you’ll probably learn it and make something better than what you’ll get from this place. None of the food tastes like other Papa John’s food, sauce and dough have different flavors and they’re disgusting. You shouldn’t waste your money here, even if it’s a half off day. I have no idea how this place is still open. Also if you walk there, you’ll be haggled by junkies or homeless people hanging out on the side of the building.

Do not buy from this place. First I placed the order online and used a credit card. I called in because I inadvertently chose pick up instead of delivery. So they charged me $ 3 extra for delivery. It’s the standard practice so I wasn’t upset. When it arrived I was shaken down by the driver to give her cash for the order that I paid for with a credit card. I should have left it at that and told her to take it back. But instead I scrounged up the cash and paid her. By the time I actually open the pizza box I notice that all of the cheese and toppings have slid off of the pizza in to the box. I call back and the guy on the phone tells me that they can send me another pizza in 45 min. This was the first and last time that I get anything from papa johns. They got one star because there isn’t a zero star option.

If I could give zero stars I would. Normally I would never bother to review a chain but I feel compelled. The service from this Papa John’s is beyond bad. We’ve only ordered from here like 4 – 5 times but they’ve managed to screw up the order at least 3 of those times! Sometimes its taken them 2 – 4 hours to deliver and this was not on Superbowl Sunday or during a snowpocalypse event! And if you call to see whats up with your order you will get someone who is incredibly rude and could care less. DOEVERYTHINGWITHINYOURPOWERTONOTORDERFROMTHISPAPAJOHN’S!!!

Ordered from here a lot because it’s the only delivery pizza chain that will cater to my zip code. That won’t convince me to order again however. Out of 5 orders, 4 have been cold, twice they’ve forgotten some part of my order and had to go back and once it took them 3 hours because they lost the order and I had to call them. Decent pizza chain, horrible ghetto location obviously run by the dregs of society.

Normally, I think people who review chain restaurants are kinda silly. It’s a chain– the whole point is you know what you’re going to get. I’ve never gone to a Subway and thought«Holy crap! They have 6″ AND12″ subs here!!!». But I was looking for delivery pizza options near my work last night on Unilocal and was sadly disappointed, so here goes. This is pretty bad pizza in the already-low standards of delivery pizza. The only people I scorn more than people who review chains are the ones who take the time to count the number of items on their plate but… There were only 7 pieces of sashimi-thin green pepper on the entire medium pizza, an average of .875 pieces per slice. There was also almost no sauce. It came promptly. And I ate it. And I’d eat it again if someone left it in the department’s kitchen and I didn’t have any money to buy a real lunch. And it sure as hell beats out Royal China for late-night work dining options. But I’d rather just save up quarters for the vending machine.
