Went in looking for a tube and walked out with a Fat Bike. The salesman Derek went out of his way to not make me feel uncomfortable with the limited bike knowledge I have. Great experience. The shop tech(Chris, I think) was super cool and more than casually friendly. Customer for life.

At first, staff seemed eager to help(even though when one asked me what I was looking for, I told him he had never heard of it and said he’d go check, I never saw him again. When another was more aware of the inventory, I found they did have it, but it was still in the box. I paid for it and was told it would be the first bike put together Sunday morning and I would get a phone call when it was ready. No phone call Sunday or Monday. When I called Monday afternoon I was told it was ready. Went to pick it up and the same salesman who sold me the bike(Derek) was there. He brought out the bike and informed me that a sale was going on just for that afternoon, and had me sign some paperwork. If it was up to him I’m sure I could have just walked the bike out. BUT I had to ask about adjusting the bike for my size(he had me sit on bike and said«looks good») he did help answer a couple questions regarding shifting etc. Things I could have had answered on Google, but honestly I felt like I just spent $ 500 and wanted my money’s worth. After another attempt to sell me something, I was ready to go, and he stood looking at the door for the next customer. I thanked him, I shook his hand. Now I may be old school, but even at a 7 – 11 I expect a thank you. When I’m spending $ 500, I REALLY do. Just basic customer service. You want me to come back? Make me feel like your happy I was there the first time. Call me when you say your going to. And SHAKEMYHAND after taking my money.

Today is the last day I will go to this store. I’ve gone out of my way, past other bike shops, to give this store my business, because they’ve always give exceptional customer service. Today, I was treated rudely by the«New manager» the moment I walked in the door. The store didn’t have any other customers and I rolled my bike in with a computer that was purchased and installed there and it had stopped working. I had called a couple of weeks before I brought it back and the person I spoke to on the phone said they’d replace and re-install it at no-charge, even though I no longer had the receipt. I absolutely bought it there and for some reason, it was not on the computer as one of my purchases. The manager today, said that he wouldn’t do that under any circumstances. He said, «I would have NEVER recommended that computer. They’re always breaking.». Would have been nice if the person who helped me choose it initially would have said that. The guy today, exchanged the computer for another model but refused to do the installation. I could kick myself for not remembering the name of who I spoke to on the phone.
