Ritz Cabaret

For Baltimore this club is decent but not awesome. The dancers are average looking, no one that amazing. Staff is polite though and drinks are typically priced. The place is clean enough with a red and dark decour. It’s a small place with narrow stages, but you get a good view of the all nude ladies. For a strip club in the middle of popular Fells Point, it’s a good place to end up after a bar hop. I’ve yet to partake in lap dances… the girls don’t seem to hustle much, which can be good if you just wanna chill.

So yeah the bartenders here are crazy corrupt… so watch your tab and your change if paying cash. Example: I bought to makers marks on the rocks and it was 16 dollars-​somehow I didn’t get any change?! I asked why?! Oh-​the trashy girl behind the bar says-«most people give the tip.» Ummmmm I give you the tip, you don’t take the tip… thanks!!! :).
The girls are marginal at best and the drinks are weak pours. I would recommend going somewhere else because the bar service was really crappy. My boys had «extra bud light» and «other drinks» on their tabs. Every bartender did this and only changed it after the were confronted. Be careful and as always… hand on your wallet!!! Lol

Got bottle service and the whole vip treatment. Girls were plentiful and pretty. Went for a bachelor party and the bachelor really enjoyed it. When you get bottle service you get your own stage and the girls dance for you for I believe $ 20 and you can select the ones you want so you don’t have to worry some busted one coming on your stage. The overall experience was great. Not too pricey in my opinion if you’re going in group of 5 or more. Can’t wait for my next visit!!!

First impression was weird with police posted on the corner but I’ve seen that before. We went on Monday with everything half off. Nice.
We went early around 8. Its was slow but it’s Monday. First girl I saw hot as he’ll. Then next couple of girls were pretty but didn’t earn didn’t my attention. Then came a girl who was hot and put on a great show. Damn, that was awesome. Spent 20 at the door. Spent about 100 over 2 hours. I had a lot drinks at 5 dollars a pop and tipped at the dance floor when it earned. I tip a little heavy to keep the attention on me. The key is to evaluate how others are tipping then adjust. This doesn’t work on a weekend.
Overall I had a good time. Girls are nice.

My initial impression of the Ritz was so-​so. I’m not sure when the «NEW Ritz» came to town but I do feel like it’s gotten better over the last few years. I also saw that in the City Paper that it got votes for best strip club.
The girls are a mixed bunch and they come around to see if you are interested and then mosey along to the next prospect. Not pushy or as transactional as some places, and not as friendly as some others.
Drinks ran me $ 8 per Tanqueray and Tonic which is par… and door cover was $ 10. The vouchers are only good before 10pm.
The club is two floors. The main floor is a bit narrow but can accomodate you in different ways: They have barstool seating, chair seating, couch seating, and stageside seating.
While I had a good time, not sure if I’d classify it as a great time… more of a place to relax with a few friends and check out some naked dancing chicks.

I originally went to this place on a friday night in march for a friends birthday and we had such a good time. The girls were voluptuous and not really skinny. Everyone went on stage and did their thing. There was even this one girl who looked me dead in my eyes as she licked her boobs! She was my favorite. Most of the girls were sweet and really easy to talk to. We even went upstairs for a private dance which was over $ 150 but we still talk about it to this day. Now fast forward to a Saturday night in August and I didn’t really enjoy myself. I’d say about half the girls looked miserable. There was this one girl on stage she was BONE thin and she had these huge fake boobs; she was either on drugs or drunk or just completely zoned out because she barley moved around the pole. I ended up sharing the bathroom with a stripper who proceeded to tell me how dead it was out there and that she barley made $ 100 mind you it was after 1am. Most of the other girls seemed nonchalant expect for one who did a twirl for a $ 1. However it’s nice to know the drinks haven’t changed, they’re on the upper end in price and they didn’t really get me drunk. The highlight of my night was talking to the bouncer. I give it a 5 and two thumps up the first time but this last time was a little brutal so it gets a 3.

Decided to take my husband out for his birthday and a friend of ours recommended this place. After parking and a short walk, we arrived for a what we hoped to be a good time. My first impression was I did not like this place, the doorman seemed a bit rude and at first our party did not have a place to sit. After that was taken care of and our drinks were ordered it did not take long for my first impression to change. The drinks were smaller than I’d prefer, but I was able to get that taken care of also. WE ALL ARE SO GLAD, our friend recommended this place!!! We will be returning very soon! We have been looking for some time for a fun club since our last spot closed. I have a few favorite girls and hubby treated me to a lap dance, so I owe him one this time. It was a great night and I am excited about going back soon.

For my 22^nd birthday I wanted to go salsa dancing, so a bunch of my friends got together and went to the Latin Palace on Broadway which ruled. When we finished up and everyone departed ways, I noticed the Ritz across the street. I walked over and decided it was worth a try. When the bouncer saw it was my birthday, they let my whole party in without any cover charge.
The girls at this club are sweet, keep their distance (unless you want them up in your face) and actually will carry on intellectual conversations with you. There was one girl that could literally make her BOOBS clap! That’s right, her boobs clapped. her pectoral muscles were crazy. Needless to say, I’ve had my fair share of strip clubs but this one is pretty classy — hence the name, The Ritz.

I don’t make hittin’ the strip clubs a habit, but when offered, I’m like, hell, why not?
This is one of the classier ones I’ve been to, and I can honestly say I didn’t find myself disgusted by much, which is great for a strip joint. The girls were actually pretty decent, most of them on the thinner side (which is what I like), one that was kind of big (I guess for dudes that are into that), and a few in the middle. I think I only saw one with a fake chest, everyone else’s was cute and moderate (apart from the big girl). None of them were pushy or annoying when coming up to you, and this wasn’t the type of place that allowed them to walk around naked, which says a lot about the sanitary condition of the place. It was nice.
The drinks were reasonably priced as well, and cover wasn’t too high.

I hate strip clubs. Don’t get me wrong, Matheus loves naked women. But as one of the top five best looking men in the greater Boston area, I find the expectation that I should hand over money in exhange for nudity insulting. For me its a sport, not an expense. A sport at which I excel due to my naturally seductive temperament, my «go-​to-​hell» masculine bravado, and my ability to lure women into fascinating conversations about the inane. That being said, the broads in this establishment diffused all those premonitions.
I was in Baltimore for pleasure. My good friend Valdez threw a bachelor party in the Crystal City (not a recognized name) and needless to say, we were a pack of hungry wolves looking for young fawns to feast on. Our hunger was insatiable. How insatiable you ask? $ 13,000in the hole and chainsawcuts on my hotel headboard, insatiable. We had sauntered past the Ritz on our way to Subway to take advantage of the $ 5 footlong promotion. A harlot pulled me aside and asked me if we wanted to check out a bunch of other harlots next door. Despite my animosity towards stripclubs, I knew Valdez and the boys needed it. I complied, and the eight of us entered a joint completely empty sans the girls.
I ordered my signature drink, a whiskey sour and took a seat in the front row. The first stripper, a heavy-​set woman with a massive chest and a mastery of verbal inercourse dropped right on my lap and started talking baseball. I was hooked. What can I say? My achillies heal is a dame that knows a 4−6−3. The ratio of women to johns was at least 2 to 1, which are terrific numbers. Maybe too terrific. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Valdez’s schoolboy friend Laramie…[censored]… with two of the strippers and what appeared to be an undercover cop. They proceeded to…[censored]…four more times and Laramie shoveled…[censored]… That’s when things got sexy…[censored]…with what appeared to be very expensive hammers…[censored]…and caught the harpoon’s arrow with her…[censored]… flame retardent …[censored]… «No dead rats?»… [censored]… a goalie mask made entirely out of tangerine peels…[censored]… who introduced herself as a wicken…[censored]… an incomplete orgasm.
So clearly, this was the place to be. The strippers were aesthetically and intellectually engaging, drinks were fairly cheap, and they used this place to film scenes from «Orlando’s» from «The Wire». I don’t often pay for women to shed their clothes, but when I do, I will do so only at The Cabaret. Stay horny my friends.

A few girl friends and I wanted to have a ladies night out at the strip club and we choose the Ritz. Outside it’s small, housed in a rowhouse in Fells. Inside is about the same, typical Baltimore rowhouse, long and not very wide. The doormen and girl taking cover charges ($ 10 on a Friday night) were all very nice. They also had a free coat check. Drinks were average price, $ 6 but the glasses were small. You’ll be done a mixed drink very quickly. A waitress came around with shooters in test tubes so we got one of those for $ 5. It was very strong.
Most of the girls were good looking, all natural, and not disgustingly skinny. A lot of dark hair and tattoos. I approve. I think I only saw one blonde and noone had extremely fake looking parts either. A few black ladies climbed the pole and did a few little tricks, but there was nothing really impressive going on. The music was mostly newer rap. I would’ve liked to have heard things mixed up with some rock. It seemed to be just a DJ playing a mix rather than the girls picking what songs they wanted.
My only complaint would be they really needed to smile more. I know you’re trying to look sexy but you look miserable. Noone was rude or tried overly hard to get our money. The only creeper was a nice old drunk man who complimented our group. There was an upstairs area we didn’t go to, that’s apparently where lapdances happen & there’s a VIP area. We considered getting one but it turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. You have to find the girl, walk her upstairs, etc. We didn’t really feel like sticking around a lot longer so we left.
Overall, it was a fun experience. Would I go back? Maybe. but not before experiencing the Gold Club or Scores.

Am I really the first person on Unilocal to review the Ritz? Are the rest of you just too embarrassed to do so? If you live around here, you know you’ve been here… at least once… a month… so just man up and get on with it.

…if you’ve seen The Wire, then you’ve seen the Ritz. In season one it was the Barksdale crew’s safehouse, called «Orlando’s».
In real life, the Ritz is one of the nicer «gentlemen’s clubs» I’ve ever been to. It hit that nice middle ground between being dirty & dingy and being upscale. It was a comfortable place. The girls who worked here were genuinely friendly and not too pushy or trying to hustle that hard. And a lot of the girls who worked here were of the all natural, pierced & tattooed, punky-​goth-​rocker variety. (I actually became friends with a few of them outside the club environment). They’re also very welcoming to having female patrons there, which is a rarity.
But then around 2008, new management came in, tried to fix the place up and make it classier, and a lot of the old girls left. The new girls were of the blonde, overly perfect, silicone-​injected variety… the kind of girls you’d find at every other boring, generic strip club on The Block… and the Ritz just lost its charm for me. Oh well.
I haven’t been in a few years now, and I don’t imagine I would like it as much anymore. But for the 2+ years I lived in Baltimore, the Ritz made living in the city just that much less miserable.
