Royal Farms

I probably won’t even take advantage of the fact that this RoFo has a gas station. If you venture in to get anything, you’ll likely be disappointed. They usually don’t have chicken, which is what they’re known for. If you order something that needs to be heated, they might throw it in the oven for 15 seconds… so expect to have to heat it yourself when you get home. In the rare event that a cashier is actually at the register, she’ll probably be on her cell phone, and won’t say a single word to you. If at any of the retail places I’ve worked I got caught talking on my phone when I should be interacting with a customer, I’d be fired. Why is that not the case here? Do your self a favor and head over to the RoFo on Keswick. The staff will actually talk to you.

I’ll give this place 2 stars because royal farms is actually awesome. Fried Chicken + Krispy Kreme donuts? Yes, please. The people who work at this particular RF are (mostly) awful though. I’ve never seen a smile from an employee. The lady who makes your food during the week can barely hide the contempt she feels about having to make your order. The cashiers are always gossiping & barely look at you. Don’t expect to hear your total. They stare blankly at you when they want you to pay. Also, when you open the cooler to get a drink a FOUL smell hits you. I’m 100% certain the smell is dead rodents.
