This restaurant goes by the nickname ‘WTF’… and WTF Indeed. This was the worst dining experience I have had in a while. We were going to go to Admiral’s Cup down the block, but were deterred by a loud(not that great) live musician, and ended up at WTF instead. We were told that it would be a 40 minute wait and that by the time we were seated, brunch would be over. I then asked the hostess to see a lunch menu and she literally said«we don’t show people the other menu until it’s time»… because it’s not posted on the web, or anything. We decided to eat at the bar. The bartender was brusque and rude, at best. My boyfriend asked for a lemon for his water, and the waitress behind the bar who gave it to him told him that she had a sinus infection, but not to worry because she placed it in his drink with the«hand that wasn’t covered in snot.» Once we got past this comment(which we should not have), we ordered food. I ordered the cobb salad, and my bf got a burger. The shrimp in my cobb salad were way too fishy. Because the salad also came with chicken, I asked the bartender serving us for some extra chicken in lieu of the shrimp. She told me they’d have to charge me for it, so I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came out with the chicken, and apologized. Then, the bartender made her way back sheepishly and said«sorry, I didn’t mean to be a dick, but the chef is a real asshole so it’s hit or miss» The salad was not desirable at this point, and my boyfriend reports that his burger was no bargain either. Bad food, TERRIBLE, rude service. We left and immediately got snacks elsewhere. I wish we’d listened to the loud guitarist down the street at Admiral’s Cup, instead.

Never been to the hotel, but I’ve been to the bar/restaurant a couple of times. Great ambiance, great people, and live music y’all. The last time I was here they had a Rockabilly band that rocked the house. And the cherry on top is that the food was actually pretty good.

Good beer selection and a lot of Burger-based dishes. A little bit too crowded, but overall this is a good bar, even if it isn’t anything out of extraordinary

This is a great brunch spot for bottomless! And the food is delicious! I enjoy their fried chicken sandwich with garlic fries on the side!

Had a great brunch here this morning! $ 10 ‘all you can drink’ special with a variety of choices as well as a lengthy food menu! It was difficult to decide what to get for breakfast but the Thames Street Omelette was delicious! Will definitely be back to visit Steve at the bar! Thanks for the great meal & great service!

With any doubt, we were served low quality burgers. A simple burger should not be a disappointment. It is sad that the food quality was poor, worse, when compared to next door restaurants. Let’s just say that this place is only for drinks and should not expect more than that. Amazing location, friendly staff but for sure not a place for a burger.

I’ve only been here for brunch. Food is alright, the best thing they have going for them is that $ 10 unlimited deal, but you can get that most places in the area sooooooo. I’ve had the Western omelette and the Mexican omelette, both were meh. The egg part of my omelette was weird and rubbery both times. The best part was the tots that came on the side. Our waiter actually took our pitcher off of the table at 2pm because that’s when brunch ends. Lucky for him, a waitress gave us a forewarning so I managed to suck down mimosa at warp speed. I actually tried to give this place one more shot last weekend(third times the charm??) but the hostess had SUCH an attitude problem that we ended up going somewhere else. We put our name/number in and she told us 30 mins. When 45 mins rolled around my boyfriend went in to check and she rolled her eyes at him, said that no one had been leaving(except yes they had, we had been standing out front for the past 20 mins), and that she had our number and she would call us. At that point I was so cranky and hungry that we gave up on them. The real kicker is we never received a phone call that a table was ready so thanks for that. Too many other places in Fells to enjoy brunch.

Came here yesterday(Saturday) for brunch, they have unlimited mimosas, screwdrivers, Natty Boh and bloody Mary’s from 10am-2pm for just 10 $. And you can mix and match. You can’t beat that! The eating area is mostly high tops. And it wasn’t too crowded when we arrived around 1130am. Servers were quite attentive. Food is okay, I had the WTF waffle it was yummy but nothing to scream over. The chorizo is extremely spicy! I had to sub it out for regular sausage. The sausage had a wonderful crunch to the skin when you cut into it or bit into it. Just lovely!

WOW, I mean WTF. This place was a huge surprise to me. Came in on a Thursday around 1pm. There weren’t many people here and the place looked more of a bar than a restaurant. I was skeptical at first. But the waitress escorted us to a booth and informed us of the days special(50% off burgers or 20% off the check on weekdays). Obviously I went for the burger! I ordered a Bahn Mi burger. It comes with a load of fries(original, bbq rub, garlic, old bay). I tried the bbq rub and it was on point. The service here was amazing. She gave us her attention, recommended which burger to get, and made sure we had ranch for the fries and enough water. I plan to come here in the future to try out their other weekday specials and also come here in the night time.

After reading how this place was one of the best places to go to for brunch me and my friends decided to go. Optimistic and hungry, we looked over the menu and ordered. Everything sounded so delicious! We ordered bottomless mimosas. Then, I ordered the shrimp and crab omelette with tots and wheat toast. And after waiting so long for our food to come out, when we dug in… ITWAS A DISAPPOINTMENT. Now, first the positives. The tots were good. But the omelette was so subpar. I could have made a better one at home. It was bland. Definitely missing flavor. One of my friends ordered the same thing and she was just as disappointed. She didn’t even attempt to try and finish it. We just took the loss and didn’t even bother to complain. My other friend ordered the eggs and steak. She wasn’t happy with hers either. The one waitress was the only one serving everyone in the upstairs part where we were sitting. I felt the service could have been better but I do understand that part of that was due to her having to serve multiple people alone. The food looked way better than what it tasted like. Moral to the story: If you want unlimited drinks for the low low, WTF is fine. But if you want a tasty brunch accompanied with drinks go elsewhere.

I travelled all the way to Baltimore for some runny eggs… This wasn’t my first time at The Waterfront Hotel, last time I ordered some sort of chicken wrap and it was pretty good! Anyways, I was meeting some old college friends for brunch and we had a pretty mediocre experience. Our waitress wasn’t friendly or engaging. I ordered the crab omelet and the bottomless mimosas. The mimosas were pretty gross and had ice in them, which was weird! Two other tables sat down after us and recieved their food before us; After about 1hr, our food finally came! My omelet was so runny and gross I didn’t even eat it. I’m not sure if it was because of the crab meat or what, but it was pretty disgusting. My friend also ordered the steak and eggs. Her steak was so salty, it almost caused me chest pains. I didn’t even bother complaining… At about 2pm our waitress basically tossed the check on our table and told us we had to leave soon because brunch was over. Next time, I’ll just stick to brunching in DC.

They did the dayum thang again!!! We had the last 2 of our Annual SOS Brunches here, reason being the food is delicious and the space worked very well for a very large group(and its growing). You can’t beat the beautiful location!!! Ok personally I think the food is off the chain and the bottomless drink special is a bowl of awesome sauce. I come here with my booski and fam and service food nothing lacks. Always pleased and satisfied when I leave. No doubt what ever you get will be yummy in your tummy. But the real stars of this place are the servers!!! First year it was Jess and she was awesome. This year we got Brit & Becky!!! They went above and beyond to serve 15 – 20 very happy and excite women:) They were A+++++ THANKYOUBRITYOURSKILLSANDHANDLINGOFUSWASGRRRREAAATTT!!! Next time we wont take so long to order:)lol ANDTHEGAMEWASON!!! hoot hoot hoot Thanks again and I hope we can do it again next year!!!

I was shocked to find out that this was not, in fact, a hotel… Be that as it may, I still managed to thoroughly enjoy myself gorging on the house Pinot noir. Still getting used to the Balti neighborhoods and, as such, showed up way overdressed to this hipster-ish bar(at least from what I can tell from the bartenders). Fairly empty on a Monday night. Works for me. Enough people that you’re not worried that you’ll need to make mindless chitchat w the staff, but empty enough to instantly get the bar tenders attention. Looking forward to coming back and trying some snacks!

The food here was so good. I ordered the BBQ Breakfast Bowl and could not stop eating it! I would highly recommend coming here for brunch especially for the $ 10 unlimited mimosas, bloody marys, etc.

I went here on Halloween and the service was decent and the drinks were strong. Even more surprising the food was really good for a bar. We got old bay/Chesapeake wings, and french fries. Can’t mess those up but the wings were really crispy and definitely not lacking on Old Bay. I also got fish tacos which were so so. I would try something else next time. We pretty much took over the upstairs, which was nice to have our own space up there. I was with a group of about 25 people. I placed my order downstairs and came back down to get the food. For a few rounds of drinks the tab was $ 60 and I left $ 20 in cash. Will be back next time I am in Fells.

This place is so 3.5 stars! We went early, so it was pretty empty. Our server was good and attentive, the food is ok, the beer list could be better. Overall, there are better places in Fells to eat but you won’t be totally disappointed if you end up here.

Honestly, we were supposed to go to a place a little way down Thames St which was super booked. We waked to The Waterfront and got great service and fantastic food. Our server was knowledgable and steered us in the direction of the brussels sprouts and the hummus for appetizers. She also let us know that the crab cake burger was popular. We sat for quite a while and our server was incredible. We went on a search for a great dessert after our meal and had THEHARDEST time finding anything good. Advice for good to great bakers… head to Baltimore…

Who doesn’t want to come to a place with the initials WTF? Drinks are amazing here. Come by for happy hour — good deals and the food is so delicious. I had the bartender just make up a drink for me since I didn’t know what to order and it was so delicious.

Yum, Yum, Yummy. I’d previously been here for dinner and was curious about their Brunch. I came here with about 10 friends for a holiday brunch on a Sunday afternoon. Our server Jess was super attentive, helpful and down right friendly. We even started a chant of «Jess, Jess, Jess,» Because she was so awesome. For brunch I dined on the steak & eggs. The steak was properly cooked, very juicy and savory. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. I also partook in the 10 buck bottomless glass. That’s your choice of Mimosa, Bloody Mary, Screwdriver or Natty Boh! How do you love that? It’s even greater because you can mix and not keep to 1 drink. Everyone in my party devoured their food with no complaints. That should say a lot because we all know how dining out with a large group is. I’d recommend this place for large groups and small groups. Can’t wait to visit again.
