If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked Ultimate Moving for our apartment move more than a week in advance. I received a confirmation email and assumed we were good to go. The day of the move, no one showed. I called the number on the email every 30 minutes to find out what happened and there was no answer. I left at least five voicemails and none of my calls were returned. We took a full day off work for nothing. I have no idea what their deal is, but through my experience, it seems like Ultimate Moving is a scam. Do not book their service, do not give any credit card/payment information.

We have used Ultimate Moving three times in a 4-year period. Each time we have had timely, efficient, & pleasant service. They wrap the furniture very well which is important — you pay a lot of money for quality furnishings & do not want them damaged! Each time we have planned ahead & had everything boxed & ready to go. That means the loading is very quick. It took 2 hours to load a 3-bedroom house with a garage! These guys do not slouch & the price is right — $ 75/hr for 3 guys or $ 95/hr for 4 guys. I recommend you give them a call.

We were up at 6am waiting for the movers as we were told they would be here between 7−8am. We called when they didn’t show up and were told they were in Baltimore on their way 45 min away. However, they called and told us that actually no one had even showed up due to hurricane sandy. Why lie about it the first time? They said they would like to reschedule to 4pm. By that the the hurricane will likely be worse. Basically, they are either lying or so disorganized that they dont know what is going on. Either way, they haven’t been terribly reliable. Definitely not worth $ 300 for one hour of time.
