Horrible experience! I hired Lawngevity to remove 3 shrubs from my yard. From the pictures of services on their website I thought this would be an easy job. They claim that they specialize in tree, shrub and stump removal. My interaction with this company started out great. They sent over a consultant to inspect the job. He also quote me some additional services just in case I needed a replacement for the shrubs. I approved the quote for the shrub removal which seemed inexpensive $ 15 a shrub including removal of the roots and stump along with disposal. After the job began is when the nightmare began. They removed one bush and left it in the middle of my yard and never returned. I finally called the consultant to let him know they had not completed the job and he promised it would be completed by end of day that I called. He stated that they didn’t bring the right equipment and had to return. They returned to remove more of the shrubs, but still didn’t remove a remaining stump. This was 3 weeks ago. I have since called the consultant and sent emails with no response. I contacted the main office today to request resolution and they gathered my number and stated they would call me back. I give this company 1 star because: 1. They never completed the job they promised 2. They never returned my phone calls or emails 3. They never even let me know when they were starting the job 4. They left my yard a mess– threw the bush in the middle of the yard and left 5. When I finally contacted the office to complain of a 3 week delay they showed no remorse I will not use Lawngevity again. Update: I received a call from this company 10 days after the job was finally completed(after the Better Business Bureau stepped in). They stated I need to pay them immediately by phone with a credit card and my bill was«past due». They never mailed an invoice to my address and only emailed me an invoice after our phone call dated 20 days BEFORE they completed the job. I didn’t know that it was customary to bill someone for a job you didn’t complete. Summary: It only gets worse with this company; all around their customer experience is not a priority.
