I was on a mini vacation away from home and I had to pump for my LO and the manager let me pump in a office! So thankful!!! :)

I used to really like Buc-ee’s. I still do, because their diesel is usually the cheapest around. But the last few times I’ve come in(this location, New Braunfels, and Luling), the restrooms aren’t as clean as they used to be. Pools of urine beneath the urinals, dispensers out of paper towels, crap left in unflushed toilets, or toilet paper on the ground. I’ve mentioned this to management, and they seem more disappointed in me telling them than the fact that the restrooms are sub-par. I’ll keep coming here, but I hope Buc-ee’s management staff starts to buckle down on keeping their restrooms cleaned up.

A smaller place than on I-10 and I like it better that way. Clean bathrooms, lots of things to look at and take pictures. Food is OK and so is the coffee. Price of gas is often a bit more than other places. But it is convenient as a stopping place and a decent break from driving.

The cleanest restrooms ever! Definitely stop to fill up gas here. They have every possible snack that you can imagine. The store is extremely neat and organized and has absolutely anything you can think of wanting. Seriously, they have anything from snacks and playing cards to go pros. They have a pre-made sandwich kiosk but I would not recommend it, my sandwich bread was super soggy. You can order hot sandwiches fresh to be made though. Their breakfast tacos and tator tots were pretty good though. They have healthy breakfast offerings like yogurt and sliced apples with peanut butter. They also have a huge selection of house made fudge and beef jerkies.

Great location but the restrooms were dreadful when we were there. It was 3 different times, too! I am usually sooooo pleased with their restrooms but what a disappointment. Either way I love this place so will be stopping by no matter what hehe. love their cherry maple beef jerky. give it a try!

I mean people who aren’t native Texans or aren’t residents don’t understand the love for this place Texans have! When I first moved to Texas and I would hear Texans talk abt this place I didn’t understand why it was so damn«magical». Well let me tell you why! I just like to run through here pointing my finger saying Wizzarrd! It’s so easy to spend $ 60 bucks in this place. All of the bagged candies, cherry sours, watermelon sours, chocolate covered almonds, home made jerky, candies, brittle, slap ya mama seasonings-All of them ugh I could go on! Also the deli! There is this really neat ordering system kiosk! You can put your own order in and it’s sent right across to the deli via the system and a ticket number is printed. Once your order is ready they will call your order number over the intercom! While you wait for your order brows around and pick up gifts for your self, for the home, family or friends!!! Enjoy!

I’m so glad this Buc-ees opened, there was no good rest stops between Austin to Houston. It’s super clean and nice, there are a ton of gas pumps and parking places per the Buc-ees normal. It’s kind of a pain to get to when you are headed to Houston from Austin, because it’s on the left hand side and getting out to get back onto 71 can be annoying a times. Eventually you will get the opening between traffic to pull out. The restrooms are something they are totally known for! So many stalls and it’s always clean too. Beaver Nuggets are the best! They have a ton of jerky and kolaches as well. Great rest stop!

The best thing about this place is the bathrooms. They do a great job of keeping them clean and stocked. Other things are nice too like the food and drink choices, and although they sell just about anything a traveler would want, they do not sell livestock.(Joking)! Seriously, hot food made fresh is great!

Buc-ee’s is always great and this location was no exception. On this visit I discovered another great aspect of Buc-ee’s — the sausage kolaches! They were giving away free samples and they were crazy delicious. I can summarize all Buc-ee’s reviews by saying: If you see a Buc-ee’s, just always stop, go to the bathroom, and make sure you get something to eat. These are pretty much musts.

This is 3rd Buc’ees I’ve been to. And, it’s the best. For one, I love innovations and convenience. Yes, I found a hotel nearby(as I wished on my last Buc’ees review). I could see Bastrop is growing. Not sure if it’s because of Buc’ees bringing lots of traffic. DoTx is upgrading this major intersection with a freeway ramp and overpass to reduce congestions. I had to stop for gas on the way home from Austin. Boy, talk about peak hour on a Sunday afternoon. All pumps were taken. I waited at the stall across from the driveway. As soon as the pump opened up, I drove right up. The parking lot is huge and 3 entrances is set to accommodate lots of customers. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. Not to mention the clean bathroom, there was always someone keeping it clean. I didn’t get a chance to try the food. Because there wasn’t anywhere to sit and enjoy a quick meal. It’s just me; I don’t eat in my car. However, I munch on snacks when I drive. I found a packaged venison sausage. I was excited to try it when I really needed something salty between cookies. But the package didn’t have a slit to tear. Boohoo, I couldn’t eat it until I got home. I didn’t care about the gas prices. I found every gas station nearby matched Buc’ees’ price. However, I shop here for other reasons — quality of service.

Listen up everyone who is NOT from Texas. You are not officially in Texas till you experience a Buc-ee’s!!! This one is in Bastrop. Don’t ask me where Bastrop is at but its somewhere on the way to Austin from La Porte. This place is so big that I went in through the side door thinking it was the main large entry. This really is a museum to Texas and its touristy stuff. I never saw snake bite proof boots before this. I wanted to take pictures of the big beautiful bathroom but then I remembered I was in Texas and didn’t want to get beat up. There is plenty of food to either order to take pre-made. I had the BBQ brisket with onions and pickles that was warm with a large Diet Dr, Pepper, very tasty and filling. It was soo good it almost made me a Texan. I must stop back here on our way home. There was some really funky large mugs.

Buc-ee’s is Texan for«Pit Stop». The ginormous store doesn’t disappoint just off of Hwy 71 in Bastrop(30 miles east of Austin). You have to start with the restroom facilities(that would be a first for me to review that first haha). There’s plenty of them, they’re clean, and the latest hands free designs for getting in and our. There are also plenty of stalls in the men’s room, each one a separate unit. There’s lots of T-shirts, Texas knickknacks, large items like smoker grills, etc. Of course they have your travel needs covered, from coolers to beverages to coffee to ice to snacks. Known for their Beaver nuggets, I find them a little out of my price range. There is also food to order, probably better than you can get at a fast food place(if you’re like me and avoid McD or Taco Bell as much as possible). I had a sliced BBQ sandwich that was good(but not great). Customer service is also strong. You should be welcomed the minute you step foot in the store by a counter attendant. The bathrooms pretty much have a full time attendant so you never have spills, lack of paper towels, or full trash cans. I wish the location was about 30 minutes farther east, it’s so close to Austin you almost just want to press through(assuming that’s where you’re heading). The parking lot can be tough to get in and out, I mean there are just so many cars accessing it. It’s also difficult to assess the gas prices from the road, although they are almost always competitive and usually lower than anywhere else. It just doesn’t make sense to stop somewhere else, it’s almost like we plan our trips in Texas around Buc-ee’s stops and this newer one is now in the mix!

Meh. HAD to stop here on the way home from Austin because I’d never been to one and the GF insisted on it. One thing I have to say about this place is that they seem to have literally just about ANYTHING you could want on a road trip. Any. Thing. The other thing to say is that it all seems WAY overpriced though. $ 8 for a chopped brisket sandwich. Eight. Whole. Dollars. For an «ok» chopped brisket sandwich with no sides. Just a warm sandwich in a clamshell container that was sitting under a light. Sides were extra… and pricey. I did like that the head was clean and this Buc-ee’s is located on a HUGE plot of land, so there is PLENTY of room here to get out and stretch your legs. Lots of road snack foods and drink, but if you need to fill your stomach for cheap, just wait and get fast food or look for a small joint somewhere on the highway. I still can’t believe I was actually hungry enough to shell out eight bones for an edible brisket sandwich. I would have satisfied my hunger on a bag of combos and a coke. They did have real coke, too, though. Hecho en Mexico con sugar in a glass bottle. That was a treat. I mean… in reality, it’s nothing more than just a big giant wal-mart sized gas station convenience store without the wal-mart deals, man. Nothing truly special about it other than that. Lots of parking and space to stretch your legs, though. Can’t deny that.

I had to finally stop at one of these places because I kept seeing signs about it. I didn’t know what it was or what was being offered here. I’m glad I did because this place was amazing and had lots to offer. It felt like a mini mall with numerous things to buy, wide selection of hot/cold meals to go, drinks were like 10 feet long with lots of choices, and so much more. I tried some beef jerky as a free sample. It was delicious. Since I was on my way to dinner, I didn’t get any food. I did buy some roasted cinnamon almonds though. They were super delicious. Overall, I loved this store! I highly recommend stopping here or another location to try it out. You’re be amazed about this store.

Buc-ee would be in the same classification as King Kong and Godzilla. Big and bad! This super convenience store has more than I could imagine. This store would be measured in acres instead of square feet. Isles and isles of munchies, fresh fudge, a deli, meat market, tourist stuff, and of course drinks and alcohol. No reason to ever stop anywhere else!

My first stop at a Buc-ee’s, wow this place has it all, candy, chips, drinks, beer, sandwiches, and so many things to list, it is big also, and you can get gas. Yes and it has clean bathrooms as well. What is not to like? DOH: No thingy to clean windshield with, yep they don’t have it all! Would I go back? Yes sir!

Big Buc-ees! Large open retail spaces. It’s worth it to stop here. Clean bathrooms! Big selection of snacks, savory(not institutional tasting) BBQ sandwiches, and cute hostess gifts. Glad we stopped here on our way from Houston to the Texas Hill Country. Because, in an unfamiliar part of Texas, who knows what kind of bathrooms options you will cross on your path. This Buc-ees was a nice option. Clean. New. Fully Staffed. Maintained. Do drop in!

Everything is bigger in Texas, including our gas stations. It took me a little while to jump on the Buc-ee’s bandwagon, but now that I’m on it, I’m never getting off. If I’m driving past a Buc-ee’s, I’m pretty much going to stop 100% of the time. For one, you’d be hard pressed to find cleaner restrooms anywhere. Now, I have my own favorite gas stations along my routes in Texas where I know how clean things are, but nothing is as consistent as Buc-ee’s. I know that each and every location is going to have clean, well stocked bathrooms and I won’t have to worry about using a shady toilet. They even have toilet seat cleaner in the bathrooms, putting all of my germ worries at ease.(I’m just particular about public restrooms, okay?) They use my favorite smelling soap, too. I wish I knew what brand of soap that is so I could use it at home — it just smells so good! There’s like 60 gas pumps here. No need to wait in line or try to beat somebody to the last available pump, because there’s plenty. The parking lot is huge, too. Everything is huge!(That’s what she wishes she could say.) I’ve had a lot of different food options here and everything has been great. The sandwiches, hot or cold, the cheese and sausage platters, trail mix, cherry sours, salsa — all so yummy. There’s a lot more stuff I still have to try, like their kolaches. I have no idea how I forget to get a kolache every single time I go to a Buc-ee’s, but I always do. I’m a mess. This Buc-ee’s is pretty easy to access from the highway from either direction and everybody who works here is really friendly. Oh, and they pay their employees a decent hourly wage! I bet that helps with morale. I’m totally a fan. Texas forever? Buc-ee’s forever.
