Erika is amazing!!! Not only is she super nice and friendly, she is a great stylist.
I got a baylage and the color turned out beautifully. I also got a haircut. My previous haircut, was really messed up, the place I went to before really jacked it up. Erika somehow fixed the hair cut and now my hair style’s so nice.
I will definitely be coming back for my next haircut and color!

I have been to Katrina’s twice now and have been so happy both times! My first time was for a pedicure with my sisters. Everything went great and we all left happy. The second time was for a hair cut. Kelly cut my hair and I could not be happier with the result. I will definitely be back!

Where to even start, I’m not from the area and Katrina’s came highly recommended, I was a bit hesitant as my hair has been quite the process and no one has gotten it to what I wanted (I know I sound high maintenance but I swear I’m not) to my pleasant surprise IT WAS amazing! Liné made the difference, she spent hours creating a masterpiece and of course with my hair it didn’t turn out quite perfect, I called got in two days later and it was no big deal no hassle no guilt and she did research on her own time to find a way to get it perfect and what I was looking for! I couldn’t be happier and I never want to go any where again!

My hair look good when she blew dry it and cut it, but after my hair grew it’s showing uneven cut especially when I straighten it… Thanks Gwen :-(

Went as part of a bridal party to get our makeup done. I don’t wear a lot of makeup or know much about it and they kept my look very natural. It looked great, the product was light and not too heavy, and the artists were quick and efficient. We all looked wonderful despite having different skin types and shades. Great experience!

Katrina has amazing service, really sweet employees and it’s a beautiful salon. I’ve had a haircut at Katrina and I walked out feeling awesome. The last couple of appointments I’ve schedule was for my pedicure and manicure. I’ve been scheduled with Laura and she’s great! She’s friendly, talkative and really sweet, but very inexperienced doing nails. My pedicure was midocre and my manicure was awful. She didn’t clean up my cuticles very well, I had hang nails the next day, there were air bubbles on the side of my nails from the gel nail polish, it wasn’t applied on my nails neatly and after 5 days the gel nail polish started coming off. I was very disappointed at the job she did and a week later I had to get my nails done again.
I would recommend going to Katrina for hair services, but as for my nails I will be going somewhere else. If you like the service a lot at Katrina, then ask for a more experienced nail tech.

Classiest bunch of ladies I’ve ever had chop off my hair or get my sweet but inappropriate lady ‘stache waxed. Reasonable pricing for a salon, which is still a bit steep, but this is from someone that used to get her hair done at Supercuts.
I love that it’s within walking distance of my house, and since I often arrive sweaty and unkempt, the cucumber water they provide really hits the spot. I might try out their massage services one day but maybe I’ll drive when that happens.

This is a gorgeous salon that meets all the Aveda standards… just make sure you get an experienced stylist.
Angie was as sweet as can be. She welcomed me, washed my hair, and gave me a fantastic head massage. I then explained the cut I wanted in great detail. I was very specific as this was my first cut by her.
After my cut was complete I realized she had ignored everything I explained to her. I’m not sure if this was because she was new and inexperienced, or if she was tired or something. Either way, she gave me the shortest cut (not even remotely like what I came in with it described) I have ever gotten, and I left feeling awful. It’s amazing how much a bad haircut will affect your self esteem.
In any case, it turns out she was a newer stylist. Had I known that, I would have requested someone more experienced.
I will certainly try Katrina Salon again, but request someone who has more experience, even if it’s at a higher price point. I learned first hand you get what you pay for.

Ask for Sarah. She is AMAZING! I just moved to the area and was looking for an Aveda salon. I scheduled an appointment with Sarah. She took her time to talk about what I wanted, and what styles would work with my hair type. My cut and color are fantastic!

I have visited this salon twice with the same stylist for hair cuts. The first time I was just doing a pretty significant cut, about 7″ cut off. The second time, I wanted to add some color and my stylist suggested the «balayage» trend, basically low-​maintenance highlights. I was very excited about the opportunity, as I haven’t colored my hair much.
Unfortunately, the result was not good. The colors were very stringy, rather than a nice blended look. I asked for shades of brown, one more blonde looking (caramel) and one more red looking (auburn). They were mostly blonde, not caramel, and there wasn’t a lot of color at all… it was hardly noticeable.
The stylist said once I go home and wash and style it myself in the next few days, if I want more red to call her and she can add a few foils, because she didn’t do a lot of the auburn color. I did so, and went to the salon where she squeezed me in and made me feel like I needed to be SO grateful for her to be able to do that for me between her appointments. Meanwhile, I stood between 2 stylists doing clients hair diffusing my own hair. Seriously.
Please note, I am not a stylist. I don’t claim to be. And I showed photos of what I wanted, to explain both the overall color look and the colors. I don’t know the exact words to use in the million shades of red. Well, when I went back the red she gave me was a bright like crayola red, not a nice brownish redhead color red. Either way, the colors were AWFUL. I called it «ketchup and mustard hair» — seriously. Strings of a stark yellow blonde and strings of bright red.
The worst part? I called before my original appointment AND asked my stylist at the start of my appointment what the cost would be, expecting it to be around $ 120 at the most, but nobody could tell me because they «weren’t sure what it would be» until the stylist decides if it’s full highlight, partial, etc., and when I got to the desk at the end of my original appointment it was $ 170!!! BEFORE TIP. It was awful and shocking to pay that much when I wasn’t expecting to, for coloring I didn’t like at all, and after a second appointment where I had to dry my own hair.
Needless to say, I have not returned and will not return. I would suggest getting a CLEAR ANSWER of what you’re expected to spend before you arrive, if possible.

After letting my hair grow for 5 years to the point of looking like a middle aged hippy, I made an appointment at Katrina’s in preparation for my son’s upcoming wedding. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. No haughtiness here. Marissa was my stylist and she worked magic on my hair! Had a full color with highlights and the most wonderful bob cut.
Kudos also to Gwen and Holly on the rinse shampoo toner experience. They were awesome.
You know something turned out great when your family and friends could not get over the color and style. I am thrilled with the results and thanks again to Marissa. Her recommendations were spot on. The color is so pretty and I love the style!

This was the best salon experience I have ever had! Liz was incredible. She treated me with so much kindness and professionalism and gave me great advice on how to upkeep my new cut. Will definitely be going here from now on!

Best salon I’ve been to in years. Great service and great products. Recently found out though that Sam, the girl who has been doing my eyebrows (an eyebrow wiz!!) has left Katrina’s. I’m broken hearted. Sam I hope our paths cross again I don’t know if I can trust anyone else with them.

I got my hair done (full highlight) by Britney last week at the recommendation of my mom who also goes to her and all I can say is I am beyond satisfied. I live in Chicago and plan to make the commute out to get my hair done going forward. For a salon it is VERY hard to satisfy in all aspects — it’s either too pricey, too bitchy or the stylists just don’t do a great job. Katrina delivers in all facets of running a salon and spa.
I’ve been getting my hair colored blonde for at least 10 years and have been through countless stylists. I will be going back to Britney until she leaves and then I will probably follow her! My mom, the same sentiments. Additionally, the receptionists were pleasant, the assistant who shampooed my hair was awesome and they are more than willing to set you up at a station so you can blow-​dry your own hair and not have to pay extra. They recently remodeled the salon and it looks amazing. All in all, no complaints. Check this place out.

This was my first visit to Katrina Salon and it was for a no-​chip manicure and pedicure for my wedding. Jody did an amazing job on my nails and even relieved me of some pre-​wedding jitters. Parking is extremely accessible here, the staff is friendly and the venue is super cute! I plan on bringing my mother and mother-​in-​law here for some holiday-​post-​shopping-​pampering!

I had a 90min Hot Stone Massage w AJ. I’ve had a few other massages (Swedish, romantic, pregnancy, ect) this was the best one yet!
The hot stones were a nice touch, not sure I’d spend the extra $ on them everytime, but they were worth trying out.
The staff here was friendly, they apolgized for the appearance of the salon/​spa a cpl times (doing some renovations) but it looked nice to me. This salon is located in a charming downtown area of Batavia and there is a free parking garage right next door. The salon/​spa is updated and appealing.
On another note, the music during my massaage did not work part of the time and they applied a 10% discount off the massage, this was a nice touch. I will book here again.

Traveling across country and found this place on a whim for a haircut. I got a same day appointment with Liz. Nothing but good things to say. The price was reasonable, and she did a great job. I’m happy with my new look, and should I return to the area, I’ll be here again.

Katrina’s Salon and Spa has perfectly qualified and expert stylists who listen to you, and work diligently to give you the haircut, color and style that is EXACTLY what you want. They work to understand your unique hair type, and then style it accordingly.
As for the Spa and nails, the pampering is wonderful. Lily gave me the most beautiful French manicure that I cannot stop admiring.
Parking is ample and close. Stop off for a homemade margarita at El Taco Grande after your visit.

I’ve only had a manicure here — the job itself was fine, but I had to wait 15 minutes or so (which is a big deal when I am short on time due to 1 hr work lunch break), and the manicurist didn’t even apologize. She just came, did my nails, and left.

What I like about the Aveda line is that it is cruelty free. What I like about the Aveda products is that they do wonders for my hair.
The stylist who cut my hair, Liz, was great. She listened well when I asked for a certain style and executed flawlessly. She took a lot of time understanding what I was looking for and made sure I was informed on her process every step of the way, not to mention she carried good conversation.
I plan to go back, no doubt.
