Great place. New since my last visit to Bath. I grabbed a quick bite during a short lunch period while working at the nearby shipyard. I had a great sandwich, the Maggie BLT on sourdough bread, the best I have ever had. Lunch time service was fast and friendly, despite the place being completely packed. The pub site lends itself to a great atmosphere, nicely decorated, great old building on the edge of the line between the shipyard and the very enjoyable Main Street of river town of Bath. I noted that they have live bands on occasion and look forward to an evening visit. Strongly recommend both a visit to Bath and a meal at Bryne’s Irish Pub.

They have really good pub food at great prices, including bangers & mash. I had a delicious shepherd’s pie and a side salad. The side salad was unexpectedly good with baby greens and a creamy parmesan dressing. Live music and great selection of beers on tap. If you like the Liberal Cup in Hallowell, you’ll be happy with Byrne’s
