Pretty lousy service, unless you’re wearing neck sweaters and yacht club attire. Food was mediocre.

This is a great place to go for brunch, albeit pricey. Great atmosphere and wonderful eggs benedict! My only complaint is that the pastry items and cakes they sell at the register often taste dry and stale. I think that they sit too long on the shelves.

We did have to wait about 10 minutes to be seated… the restaurant is small and no one is rushed Great atmosphere, wonderful coffee, delicious food coffee was very good, flowing and hot. Eggs were poached perfectly cute place, a little pricey, great home made breads People there were nice, helpful, and service(in both seating and serving) were prompt.

Fantastic spot! My new favorite Bath bakery and restaurant. We had a combo of Huevos, clam chowder, and crab blt. Everything was delicious, hot, and delivered quickly by staff who were personable and knowledgeable. And then we hit the bakery… dear God, the bakery! Exquisite flavors! The smoothness of the frostings coupled with the delightful presentation commands one to return for any future cupcake or cake needs. You will thank yourself!

Unilocal wants me to write a review but here’s the thing. I haven’t eaten here for years. But what I do come for is Bakery items. They have the best key lime pie I have ever had and that includes every place I could find in Key West. So when we have company and I don’t have time to bake it’s over to Maes for key lime pie. I’ve got another pies here as well and cinnamon buns and other things and they make muffins — they are all excellent. I’m sure that their breakfasts are good and we have friends that love the place but when we’re home we usually do breakfast at home. And I gravitate to the working man funky little places. Mae’s is upscale and very nice. A place to take your mom!

I went here for a late breakfast with some friends. The food was good and the service and ambience was open and friendly. I loved how much light there was in the dining room. This is a great place for a casual breakfast or light lunch out. It’s not fancy, but the dining room has wonderful artwork and an artsy vibe. Three of us got the«Morse Mountain,»(eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon) while one got stuffed French toast. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and the eggs were good. The French toast was good, although a little on the sweet side. All in all, definitely going back! UPDATE I ordered the wrong stuff the first time. The pecan sticky buns are to DIE for and you should also get the bacon and Brussels sprout hash… Amazing. Update to 5 star for food and ambiance.

Dropped in for lunch with the family. Two had Huevos Mae’s, another quesadillas, and my son omelette with lamb sausage. Tasty fresh and healthy all three dishes and very generous serves. Great service! Highly recommend, especially the Huevos.

Honestly, I can only speak to the cinnamon bun which I got driving through. It’s literally the best. Beyond the best. Sticky sweet delicious to the core and completely irresistible. It’s well worth the stop!

Wedding cupcakes! After scouring the nearby map for the perfect cupcake for our wedding last year, I found this gem of a place. When it comes to cupcakes, I want several flavors to choice from. They have over 20 during some parts of the year. I want a not too sweet frosting. Their’s is a perfect balance of sweet without making you choke on sugar. I want fluffy, flavor, and best of all I don’t want to break the bank. And this place, did just that. I had compared prices of cupcakes, of delivery prices, of densities, of sweetness. The lists goes on, but I won’t bore you with that. I am picky about desserts so I wanted this to be right for our 70+ guests. It really was the only place that I both loved and did not feel I needed to sell a limb to get. Rehearsal dinner. About 5 months prior to our October wedding I had my then fiancé go about making plans for the rehearsal dinner. I am a bit of a control freak but I wanted him to be totally in charge of a few things. This was one of them. He made the plans via phone after we decided on our dinner specifications. Fast forward a few months, I emailed the owner about getting a deal on the cupcakes delivery since we were having our rehearsal dinner. Rehearsal dinner? We don’t have you down for that… cue mental meltdown. After confirming with my fiancé that he did do his job and reading the emails of confirmation I forwarded her the email. I can imagine that she too had a mental meltdown, for she had doubled booked. She said sorry about a millions times. After meeting her I know she was completely sincere and freaked out about the mistake she had made. She put us in the downstairs café part(which not as glamorous for my man’s liking, but was more fitting for my chilled environment liking). She gave us a discount on the meals(which were all soooo amazing) and made sure to carefully pack all the left overs which were meals for us for weeks on end. She also gave us free delivery on our cupcakes. Bonus! People make mistakes, it’s whether they right their wrongs that puts them back in a good light. She definitely did just that. Mmmmm…it’s almost been a year since our wedding. I can’t wait to have some wedding cake on our anniversary. Café dining experience. On separate, earlier occasions, we had gone there for breakfast and on another day we had lunch. We were seated promptly both times and were brought waters and offered drinks quickly. Their coffee I might add is awesome. They serve Seacoast coffee and my dad and my then fiancé had to have a bag of beans for themselves. All food came out promptly, hot, and savory. Yummy.

Came here with the family for breakfast and returned the next day. They have a diverse menu with many different options. Their cinnamon toast is amazing and makes an even better French toast.

Not only do they have some fantastic baked goods(if you are gluten free, try the GF cookies they have! Fantastic!) but their breakfasts are amazing. I always try to get a stuffed french toast of some sort, since they are so delicious! Last time I believe I had… mixed berry stuffed french toast? It was amazingly delicious and filling!

This place was so good, I almost don’t want to tell you about it, because it will get too busy! We got there at about 8:30 on a Friday morning for breakfast, so there was no waiting line. Parking is tight, if you can find it, so plan ahead. Excellent breakfast, all around. We’ll go back for lunch and dinner and update this review, but I bet that it will be great.

Love their baked goods! I am not a fan of frosting(and haven’t been since I was a little kid) and this is the one place that I’ll eat their frosting rather than knocking it off a cupcake. My husband and I also order their dessert platters for any party we host and they’re always fresh and delicious(and get rave reviews). Their breakfast is also really good, with their pecan sticky roll being my favorite(and huge enough to split!).

Mediocre food at best. Service poor and waitress not rude but in no way friendly. Would advise bypassing this place. Very disappointed and felt mislead by ratings.

Only in town for 4 days so I decided to try a few different places rather than my old standby… Had a very good Gingersnap cookie so I Ordered to go the Winnegance Salad; my husband & I would share this because we weren’t too hungry. Took this back(without checking) to our hotel– no roll w/butter or Apple as stated on menu?! Salad decent but not exceptional & minus a part of the meal brings it down more. Cute place, friendly staff, very good bakery goods but Please check your to go orders to make sure they are complete — this is coming from 2 people who worked in the restaurant business for many years.

SOFREAKINGGOOD. Dirt cheap and delicious. Some of the servers though are honestly not very friendly but the food more then makes up for it. The manager is very nice though! Raspberry stuffed French toast– the New Yorker Reuben! So good!

Great breakfast and baked goods. Nice lunch choices. Amazing pecan sticky buns the size of your hand. This would be your go-to breakfast and lunch place if it was in your neighborhood.

Mae’s café has an amazing brunch and a cute porch to eat outside on in the summer. Maybe I’m a New York snob but I mean, Bath doesn’t have much else to offer so I can’t see why anybody would have a problem with this place. Their food is legit. The bread is killer. I would recommend this place to friends. Hey friend, go here.
