Let’s see… we will be staying here 30 days. Let me start with the positives: *great location *spacious *fully equipped kitchens(almost) *BBQ grills *Pool *Breakfast(some mornings) Now with the negatives: *staff is very unprofessional *manager is unprofessional *housekeeping does not ever have anything you need *towels are brought to you soaking wet *no knives in the room and it’s because they said people keep taking them and you have to practically beg for one *the carpet in the room smells of pet urine *people smoke too close to your room and the smell comes in We bought plug ins to put in the room to help with the awful urine smell. We asked to speak with a manager one night after calling the front desk to complain about banging and stomping upstairs and the manager answered the phone by saying, «yeah, what you got.» Nothing was ever done. Needless to say, we woke up to it the next morning and as I’m typing this they are still stomping and moving chairs! I had one girl from housekeeping named Jennifer come to my room and she was very unprofessional. I never allowed them to come in and clean. I clean the room myself. She brings you towels all bundled up and still wet on her cart. The never have anything ready. She said she would come back with some of the things I requested and never came back. She was awful. I went to breakfast one morning and they had cereal with no milk and bread. Really?! So don’t come here thinking you’re at a 5 star hotel. You’re not!

LOVELY suite with kitchen, living room and fireplace. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that I had mistakenly booked the room for the wrong night(thanks for resetting the dates of my search) and they did nothing to discount my duplicate billing. Also, we wanted to purchase the log for the fireplace, but the young night desk girl had«no idea» what or where they were. Good breakfast with all the trimmings.

This is a nice place to stay while you’re in town. It’s more like a small apartment than a hotel. Full-size kitchen, full size stove, full-size refrigerator. There’s a living room kitchen bedroom and bath with dividers and doors in between each. Great for long term stay. There are several good restaurants. There is a movie theater nearby.

i stayed here for a few months and the place would be much nice if the maid service wasn’t so bad.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It is a lovely property. BUT… There are issues. The first time we stayed here, they didn’t have our room ready. We waited for quite awhile. Both stays we were in the same room, 823. Both times(about 4 months apart) same lights hadn’t been changed in the living area or upstairs bath. Upstairs bathroom mirror still had nasty water spots and spit from the previous stay. Not nearly enough outlets for 3 people with electronics, and the outlets they do have either can’t hold the weight of the plug or trip the breaker if a hair dryer is plugged in. And the wifi? After making a huge deal about it at the front desk – how they have it, how it’s free, what the password is, the TRUTH is: it only works in the lobby/club house. IF it pops up on your screen in the room, it quickly informs you that it is unable to join the network. Don’t bother telling the staff. They don’t care. Since it DOES work in the lobby, they don’t believe it when told that it doesn’t work in the building next door. They have a funny way of cleaning. They come and get all the dirty towels and then come later to actually clean. In our case, I had to go ask for towels. They were delivered and dropped off on the couch. No one ever came back to clean, make beds, etc., even though our room was right next to the area where the housekeeping staff stages their carts. We got to listen to them rattle around a good portion of the day, but they never came to our room. The staff have jobs there. That is all. They do not care. The previous reviews are correct regarding staff attitudes. All they really need to do is spend one night in one of their rooms. Then they would see that the outlets are in all the wrong places, that they aren’t sturdy enough to hold a phone or computer charger, that all computer work has to be done in the lobby/clubhouse because there is no working wifi in the room and that, apparently the only way to get your room cleaned(except for bathroom mirrors) is to check out of the hotel. Don’t think we’ll stay here again.

Unilocalizens, I have just got to say that this place was a REALLY decent place to stay. I actually have ZERO complaints. But there was even better than zero complaints here because there were many positive features. The place was clean, secure, and spacious. The staff was friendly, helpful with local food suggestions and always nice. They have security here so you don’t have to worry about any equipment you leave in your truck getting ripped off. The walls are thick and it is quiet and they don’t have any crap going on with people partying in the parking lot or they will toss you out of here. I mean, I love a good work crew party but not so much when I am trying to sleep. After midnight I don’t want to hear a some idiot leading a chorus of «Gimmee Three Steps» with his out of tune drunken buddies baying like a bunch of sick Walker Coonhounds that ate a dead possum. Extended stay has it all including fridge, freezer, working stove and oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and basically the whole set up. They are light on a few dishes so if you want to seriously cook then bring some of your own gear. Their towels also don’t feel like sandpaper. You don’t feel like you are caught in a hotel room at this extended stay place and you can walk around outside in the nice courtyard or hang out in the spacious lobby if you want to make a private call. They serve a good breakfast with meat and eggs. ya know.a REAL breakfast and they always have Community Brand roast coffees at the ready. They also keep ice cold citrus water in there and have a good Wi-Fi connection in both the rooms and the lobby in case you get backlogged you can catch up on other work. Here is their link: At night they also have a happy hour with liquid refreshments of the adult kind as well as snacks on hand of local Cajun flavor and such. I never made it to one due to late night schedule but it is there if you want it. Besides, they do have a drink limit and your olé’ buddy Madman can throw back two twelve ounce plastic cups of beer down his goozle quicker than you can say«don’t do it!». In fact, probably before you even noticed to say«don’t do it!». Besides, there are many good places to eat close by within a short driving distance. But Baton Rouge is not NOLA so the streets roll up early around here. My only complaint or rather travel tip is trying to enter onto Corporate Blvd. or exiting to try to hit the interstate. The streets seem narrow and you have got to fight for that left hand turn and another quick left hand turn. So pay attention or you will get run the hell over. Here is another issue around here. A lot of LSU fans. I did not say it was a problem, I said it was an issue. Don’t think that folks wearing purple and gold are part of a special tour group. That’s just all they wear around here. There are only two primary colors in the color wheel in Baton Rouge, America. Those colors are Purple and Gold. You can always trust that Madman will not steer you wrong! And steering into the Chase Suites Hotel in Baton Rouge is a turn in the right direction when many turns lead the wrong direction! Or somethin’.

Stayed for one night, and was given a non smoking one bedroom suite equipped with a queen bed and a sofa sleeper. The suite was fully furnished and the kitchen came with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, stove, dishes, cups and utensils. The living room had the sofa sleeper and a flat screen TV. Extra sheets were available in the closet and was easily accessible. Ironing board, iron, as well as a blow dry was available. The suite was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, free breakfast, and wifi I removed a one star because the entrance area was not clean and needed to be swept. Overall our experience was a good one. I would stay here again.

Just stayed for a night to have dinner with some others and knew I wouldn’t want to drive home too late. Very nice rooms with sitting area, full kitchen, and private bedroom area. Pretty quiet too. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice place to stay. The rooms were great. Nice kitchen area with microwave and full size stove/oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. Bed was too small. I am just used to a king. A queen is not comfortable. Busy place with lots of staff on hand getting the place ready for the winter weather. Everyone was helpful and nice. Each morning breakfast was served in the dining area. It was a pretty good spread.

For the $$ it was alright, but you definitely get what you pay for. Was here in Baton Rouge for a 2week business trip, and stayed here at a govt rate of $ 99/night. The hotel looks like your standard Residence Inn type place. Pros: * Big suites * Nice staff Cons: * During a cold spell, I complained about the water not being warm enough in my shower, but nothing was done. * The hot tub jets never worked, and I complained about it several times.
