Eds Expert Shoe and Leather Repair

I don’t even want to give this place one star. They deserve NONE. I took two handbags in for minor repair. I had to pay up front and was told they would be ready the following week. I did not make it in that week so went two weeks later. I was told they were working on them and they would be done later that day. I came in the following week — 3 weeks after dropping them off — only to find out one wasn’t finished and the other was never even touched. I had to wait for them to finish the one and got the unfixed back. They refunded the amount paid for the unfixed one and now I have to find someone else to fix it. This place is out of the way but had good reviews so I tried it. First they did not meet the promised time, then lied to me about working on the bags, then weren’t finished 3 weeks later. I will NEVER use Ed’s Repair again nor do I recommend them. Lesson learned.

I had this pair of combat boots for nearly 20 years. I have never had boots that were that comfortable. Unfortunately I wore them so much that they started falling apart. This is when I found this shoe repair store. Ed placed a special order for soles especially designated for rugged terrain. He fixed my boots on a very short notice. Now thanks to Ed I will be able to wear my favorite green jungle boots during my deployment to Afghanistan. Thanks Ed!

I was actually headed somewhere else across town. Started raining and well, people can’t drive in the rain, so I wasn’t going to make it to the other place before it closed at 5. I did a quick Google search and Mr. Ed’s shop popped up nearby the location where I happened to be. I called and he said he stayed open till 6. I walked in expecting to leave my shoes. Nope, he fixed my heels in 10 minutes flat. He was nice and saved my 100 dollars shoes for 8 bucks :)
