I recently had a molar extracted. Dr. Philippe is extremely knowledgeable yet he took the time during our consultation to explain to me the condition of the tooth, options available, and how the procedure would be handled. He spoke in easy to understand terms. For the surgery I opted for the pill instead of being put to sleep. On the day of the surgery dr. Philippe and his assistant were very professional. The procedure itself was completed in about 15 to 20 minutes and at no time did I feel any pain. His staff let me know that if I had any problems during recovery to get in touch with them. I am very pleased with the entire process and the speed of the recovery. I highly recommend dr. Philippe and his staff for any oral surgery procedures.

Former President of the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry, Dr. Philippe is in my opinion arguably the best oral surgeon in town. Very nice and takes time to explain procedures in terms that can be easily understood. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
He removed a wisdom tooth of mine and all I remember is nodding off, waking up, throwing up a little blood then asking for a magazine to read while the general anaesthetic wore off.
Most definitely a medical professional worth trusting with your oral surgical needs.
