Came here on a Monday night, really slow and pretty empty inside. Once we got in, the girls told us to sit where we wanted and they would soon be with us. So we sat outside because it was a nice night. The table we sat at hadn’t been bussed yet, and still had leftover pizza and tip money slipped under the plate. No clue how long that was out there. After about 5 minutes, we went back inside, hoping to get better service and least have a beer while waiting to order. What I don’t understand is that there were two ladies behind the counter, and neither of them came over to ask us if we wanted anything or even bring us menus. We had to go and grab them ourselves. Not sure what they were doing, but it definitely wasn’t giving any attention to their paying customers. We should have left then. Much later, another girl came and took our order. Pizza took a long time to get, but not such a big deal. When beers were empty, my fiancé had to flag down the waitress for another. It took so long to get to us, we got up to leave and pay our bill when it finally came out. So we of course to stay to finish that up. Basically the food is good here, and the beer and televisions make it a great spot to watch some sports but this unreal lack of customer service is enough to keep me away. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush or on some type of time table, as the service runs like cold molasses. Customer service is huge in a lot of my ratings and can upgrade a lackluster joint if the people care about their customers. The workers here definitely need a refresher as to what is involved in their service industry job.

Food was decent, service was slow even though I sat at the bar. I did not realize it is pretty much a pizza place. Would not have gone in had I known that. I stayed and ordered a meatball panini. While it was tasty it was cold in the middle… not so bad that I could not eat it but it was not right. They serve pizza by the slice and they looked good. Seems like the place could use a bit of an update and the service could use some leadership and direction.

Today after going to the museum and seeing that everything was kind of closed I remembered this location existed and decided to take my friends here, they were visiting and don’t eat meat. After I ordered the Margherita against my friend’s will, one of them tasted it and literally said«oh my god, this is delicious! «. So thank you for making me be not such a horrible host.

Thin crust pizza and average toppings. Tastes good and will do in a pinch for dinner, but you’re better off waiting until you’ve knocked back a few.

I mean, top marks for the name. Can’t complain about that. There’s some stiff competition in the area, to the point where I can’t think of why you would come here for lunch if you were going to eat out. But getting out of work at 10pm, having not eaten since lunch, I was at least happy to have SaG there for me, especially since they have slices available for immediate consumption. Our waitress for the night was friendly, but seemed a bit out of it and was more interested in talking with her friends than getting us our much needed food. My pizza and wrap was sufficient for sustenance, and the beer was cheap enough that I could get two and still be under my per diem. Not the best pizza, but probably the only place that would be open late on a weekday night in downtown BR.

After awhile, Business trips all kind of roll together in terms of hotel rooms, restaurants, and airports. It’s nice to be on expense account, but sometimes just a simple slice of pizza(or calzone) and beer is all I want for my evening’s entertainment. And so it was recently and with my friend Jim M. along for the ride. I don’t practice a foodie eye in places like this. So if you’re a pizza fanatic, read the Yupscale reviews and get in line somewhere else. All I want is an establishment that delivers on its cuisine. You order at the counter, you take a seat, and the hot food and cold beer is delivers. We were hungry, the food was good, and we had a great time as friends talking about lots of stuff. And that sometimes is as good as it gets.

Overall I gave this place a 2 star rating because of the service and the environment. This place barely has any seating so we had to wait for someone to get up and sit at a dirty table. There is no form to the seating so its basically who over runs to the table first. We waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to ask us what we would like to drink. After we told her she never returned to our table so we asked another waitress to wait on us. The customers were all drunk and screaming and this ruined the vibe. Screaming and shouting flooded the«restaurant» for the entire time. The food took forever and we noticed others come in and leave with a pizza before we did and we came in before them. This place needs alot of improvement if they want people who aren’t drunk to enjoy their visits. I must say the pizza is great and that’s why they are receiving 2 stars in instead of 1.

Amazing pizza! Honestly this may be the best thin crust pizza I’ve ever tasted. We had the 18″ Rustico and ate the whole thing. Excellent assortment of shots and decent beer. I would recommend this to any pizza lover.

Place was good! I had the margherita pizza –solo size(see photo) with extra garlic. It was excellent for pizza from a campy dive bar in downtown Baton Rouge. The place was fun too; raucous but welcoming. Looks like a great place to come with friends.

Quick Summary: I’m a pizza fanatic and I was excited by this name but everything from the service to the pizza was disappointing. Pizza — 0⁄5 lathered in butter and overwhelmed the taste of the Greek Service — 0⁄5 On a few occasions, our server didn’t bring out or ask us for anything. Our salad was brought out after we were eating the pizza. Shortly afterwards she brought the check before we had finished our drinks. Name & Atmosphere 1⁄5 Huge TV screen with a few beers on draft. For $ 50, you can go elsewhere and have a better experience. This is my first 1 star rating

Every attempt to eat here has been horrid. I say«attempt» because I’ve only managed to get a meal once. There’s no structure to seating which means that a family with 5 kids can just show up and take all of the remaining tables if you so much as look away for a second. When you finally do get the food, you realize it’s over-priced for the abysmal quality. Friends of mine and I have all swapped horror stories about receiving cold, disgusting pizza sometimes an hour after its all been ordered. It’s all extra disgusting considering that flat, cold dough is tough as nails. You literally have to rip it apart with your teeth like a dog on a rawhide bone and chew each bite about 30 times with a swig of drink to get any of it down. Even when reducing your expectations for by-the-slice a-la-carte pizza orders, the pizza is still subpar. It’s also another restaurant that’s got another bad case of «3rd Street Staffing». It’s funded by hands-off CEOs that hire college kids to manage other college kids that could care less about service or quality. I’d rather let an 11-year-old babysit my kids than have one of these immature managers run my restaurant. At least the 11-year-old has something to prove and tries harder.

You might wait like 20 min for your pizza, but trust me it is worth all the wait! I’ve never in my life had such a delicious pizza. Even the corners tasted delicious. I’ll definitely go back for more

It’s open late and serves pizza by the slice. The place is pretty much ingrained into the social fabric of downtown BR — if you work late, this might be your only option for food :) I haven’t been drinking here, but I have had their cheese pizza like a million times. The place is like a college bar — cheap food, cheap drinks, and dirty tables! lol

Best tasting pizza so far! Open late. Three great people: Kealy, Jessica, and Shedrick greeted us as we walked in. Was here 11:30ish on Wednesday night while others were closed. People here are really cool, friendly and down to earth. Drinks are superb and awesome! When in Baton Rouge you must stop by! Cheers!!!

It’s a simple pizza with a catchy name. Almost as good as a place with the name «Shinanigans». I can’t say much more than that. It’s cheap, it’s good, the crust is tasty, but it’s not a wow pizza. More of a decent place to get a simple pie.

I did not eat in, I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza. It was very good. The atmosphere inside looks like a great place to needy friends. Service was very good.

Been three times to this place because it looks good and fun but each time here gets more horrendous. Food is super greasy and undercooked. I actually went outside and called to ask for service because sitting or asking at bar doesn’t work. They stand around talking as if you are bothering them. I WILLNEVERGOBACK! Told the manager this and anyone else. Don’t waste your money on bad service and bad food!

This is typically my go to place for food late at night. But if there are more than 10 people present, be prepared to ask for drinks/food at least twice. Last time I was there, our table ordered drinks and it took 25 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Disappointing because they have the sports bar market covered for downtown restaurants on the cheap. Wished they lived up to their potential.

Coming from Illinois and(deep dish) I thought good pizza would be hard to find. However, this pizza is so good it even taste good for lunch the next day. I had the supreme which was packed with jumbo sized toppings. If you looking to spend a little extra for some good pizza this is the laid back casual place for you! The atmosphere is bar/pizzeria which I like.
