I’m in tears. WORST customer service I’ve ever dealt with. I just wanted some information and I got the run around for weeks. No one could answer my questions, they lost my emails over and over, and were horribly rude to me. DON’T purchase anything from this company. Tried to talk to the supervisor and she yelled at me and was simply horrible.

STAYAWAYFROMTHESECROOKS! There are bait and switch pros. They do not list the prices on any of their cigars. So, you have to ask each time for every cigar’s price to the people at the front desk. The girl from Venezuela, or wherever she is from, is the laziest and most disrespectful person I have ever seen. By the second time you ask a price, she gives you the looks, like if it was your fault they do not list their prices. I have tested them on specific cigar prices, and they just change it on you as they please. When I go to Neptune Cigars, or any other decent place, they not only list the ratings, but of course the prices as well. When you ask them why they do not list, they say their prices change daily!!! The«Mger» Eddy is worse. They just do not care about your biz. The place is empty most times. They will likely be gone out of business soon with this attitude. Most weekends after a holiday, like yesterday and today, they do not even open on time. I have driven all the way there when needing a cigar, and they were closed most days after a holiday, without any warnings. Yesterday, after Thanksgiving, I passed by at 12:05PM and they were closed. Today, passed by at 12:30PM and closed. THEYAREDISGRACE. I will order from neptunecigar from now on. They are about 25% cheaper and super nice.

FORGET returning anything you order from this business on line! I contacted them prior to my husband’s birthday and ASKED for help in finding premium cigars based upon his past orders. INSTEAD, I was directed to what they wanted to unload. My husband said they missed the mark on every selection recommended. I have been trying to obtain a return authorization since his birthday(almost a week ago) and just gotten the run around. No answer, finally after 2 emails and a phone call, told NORA will be issued(single cigars cannot be returned) and then when I asked for a return of a full unopened box of 10 «premium» cigars they want me to send them PHOTO. These people need to learn customer service if they want to stay in business. STAYAWAY!

This is for an online order. I never write reviews but feel they deserve one. I read all the negative reviews and almost passed on ordering and when I did, I expected the worst. The complete opposite is the case. The turn around time was quick and my order arrived in a timely fashion. I will continue to order from Mike’s as long as this in the experience.

I purchased the Groupon with the Cohiba cutter specifically for the cutter. Low and behold, when my order arrived, the packaged contained the Mike’s Cigar Cutter that sells for $ 1 on the website. After my husband opened the package and we noticed the advertised cutter wasn’t there, I contacted the company as was told they were currently out of that cutter, but they would ship it out just as soon as they got more in — probably in a couple weeks. Fast forward to the end of February — still haven’t received a cutter. I contacted the company again because I saw the Cohiba cutters were for sale on the website. No one ever responded. Needless to say, I never plan on doing business with this company again and I wish I didn’t have to give them at least 1 star.

Kim clarified the situation and made amends for other staff’s mistake. I almost lost my faith towards Mike’s Cigars when the dog rockets arrived. However, Kim steered it right and handled the problem professionally unlike the other bad fish. I probably will join their Cigars of the Month Club because members could get a free humidor and choose their own monthly samples.

VERY disappointed with Mike’s Cigar Bar. I purchased a Groupon it was for a cigar and 2 drinks. Because I live out of state it has expired. So I went in there today and the girl that was working there her name is So acting as if it was her day off and she was asked to come in. I asked her if I was still able to redeem it for just what I spent on it and she looked at me with a dead look and said no and turned around. The lady that was behind me and asked her if they severed food and she said no to that also. I thought it was going to be a nice visit and totally turned off considering of the location Bay Harbour Island.

Mike’s was a hit! The cigar selection was awesome in their large walk in humidor as well as the service. The prices are more than fair. They offer a variety of wines, bottled beers and an espresso machine. It’s spacious but not too big. There’s seating for maybe 25 people or so. It’s 6 pm on a Saturday now and it’s not overly crowded. They also play a wide variety of music which is not common in most cigar bars. It’s 2 minutes from the beach and there’s a ton of restaurants near by. Parking was also easy. I recommend any cigar smoker to stop by and I’ll defiantly be coming back!

Love buying from cigars from Mike’s, the quality, freshness are always as expected. But the main reason I buy is the customer service and it just got better. You can now use your cell phone to do a two way text message with the customer service folks. I just love this feature. I can get my issues, questions and orders done really fast and it’s so convenient. Anywhere any time. You just put their +1800 phone number into your test box and an agent will text back in seconds. I have that number in my favorites now. One suggestion to Mike’s: When you open the browser from a cell phone you cant see that there is a Text option and on your website it’s not clear either. Just need to do a little better user experience testing to make it easy. Tks Bob

Update: I have revised my review based on their excellent customer service. I think the true measure of a company is how they respond to customer issues. In my case, I had an issue with an order and they provided very prompt and friendly service to rectify the issue. Special thanks to Kim in the service department. I will order from them again and will stop by their store next time I am in Miami.

STAYAWAY! THESEPEOPLEARECROOKS! I ordered a VERY expensive S.T. Dupont Versailles lighter from their website. I talked to «EDDIE» and he said it was BRANDNEWINTHEBOXSEALED. I asked MULTIPLETIMES. I paid extra for overnight shipping as this was supposed to be a special Christmas present. Well imagine my surprise when the box shows up and it’s a used S.T. Dupont box, NOT sealed with food stains on it. When I opened it, it was A COMPLETELYDIFFERENTLIGHTER! A CHEAPUSEDLIGHTER! A silver USED lighter at that! OH and the real kicker is it had a price tag completely different from what«EDDIE» and the website said the lighter was. Anyone who knows the Versailles collection lighter knows what a joke this is. These people tried to scam me out of my money and thought I wouldn’t notice!!! I plan on letting everyone know about this. STAYCLEAR!!!

Bought the Groupon in early December and immediately used it to order a Christmas gift online as it clearly stated it would take two weeks to ship. After three weeks and no shipping confirmation, we called only to get horrible and clueless customer service followed by them telling us that, if we wanted to guarantee Christmas delivery, we would have to pay expedited shipping charges. Ridiculous. Looks like those using the Groupons locally have had great experiences but I do not recommend using this company from a distance.

What a great place!!! My boyfriend is a cigar smoker and this is the only place in Maimi that we both can go and have a great time! The bar is new has an amazing atmosphere. They have great deals on cigars and spirits. Huge TV’s all over the place to watch games. We arrived there on Thursday night and they had a poker night, which was also a great experience. Horrible customer service. I bought a Groupon from this place. After redeeming it, I got an email from their customer service requesting that I pay an additional shipping charge since I live in Hawaii. I paid it via Paypal and patiently waited for my order to arrive. 2 weeks later, I still hadn’t received my order so I sent an email to Mike’s customer service asking for the status of my order. What followed was a ridiculous string of emails that clearly showed the incompetency of the customer service staff at Mike’s. Although I said in my emails that I paid for the shipping weeks ago, they kept replying that shipping to Hawaii was extra and that I needed to pay the charge before they would ship. Even after forwarding the email confirmation from Paypal that clearly showed that I paid the shipping, they still couldn’t understand that I HADALREADYPAIDIT. After sending an extremely frustrated email back to them stating that my credit card had been charged for the shipping, they FINALLY understood, apologized, and shipped my order. I don’t understand why getting my order was like pulling teeth with these people. Although they did apologize and immediately ship out my order once they started using their brains, it was by far the most difficult Groupon voucher redemption process I have ever experienced. Their customer service sucks, they have no common sense, and they should really train their people better.

This review is only regarding online ordering. I gave this only a 1 specifically because the customer service was horrible and on the confirmation email to purchasing two orders, it says the if the order was placed before 1pm Eastern time the order will be shipped on the same day.(which I placed two order before that time) Theses two orders I placed was 10 days(8 business days) prior to Father’s Day. The confirmation email also states that the order will be shipped 3 business days upon ‘ship’ Date. I have placed the orders on a Friday at noon and the order for shipped the following Tuesday. I also called them to confirm I will be getting the orders before Father’s Day and the lady was very rude and did not answer any of the open-ended question I had regarding the shipping date. Okay here is an update 10 months after initial review. I received a message via Unilocal from a public relations to make things ‘right’ with me die to my past unsatisfied orders. She prepared a gift for me and sent me several premium cigars(my favorite) obviously no charge and a catalog within a couple days. This lady said they are working on the customer service behavioral skills. I will give this another update following my next order.
