Hair Cutting Plus

My thick, (currently) long, wavy/​curly hair has been in the capable hands of Laura for several years now. Through out the years, I’ve gotten multiple things done, including bleaching, dying, highlighting, balayage, hair cuts, and blow outs. I’ve been brunette, I’ve been blonde, I’ve been platinum, I’ve had long hair, short hair, and layers. I trust Laura to work her magic and all these years later, I’ve never been disappointed at all! I feel as though all of the stylists at Hair Cutting Plus are wonderful. I refer friends and family there with confidence that they will be pleased with the services that any of the hair stylists provide! It’s a great establishment with very talented and professional ladies.

I recently bought a groupon for this hair salon, it included cut, wash and style.
My experience was amazing, Maria was my stylist and she was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating! I will def be back. I love my new hairstyle!

I wanted to color my thick, long, red hair for the first time. I had looked up a lot and wanted something fun but doable. I love my red hair, but I wanted a change for a bit. I didn’t want bleach. I wanted a balayage type color.
Since this was my first time and I needed childcare for 2 kids, I went to the salon to speak with a stylist about how long it would take. She said about 3 hours. I should have known she was a bad choice for me as soon as she said I don’t have thick hair…
I got a babysitter for 4.5 hours. I ended up being at the salon for about 6 hours. Laura bleached my hair, didn’t color it like I wanted (I showed pictures and described that I wanted some streaks in addition to the ombré-​like color). I’m glad she screwed up, though, because I was able to cut most of that horridness out. The girl who washed my hair was nice but clueless. She kept trying to comb my very thick and now very ruined and bleached hair. The sinks are horribly uncomfortable. And the haircut I got was awful.
Maybe this place is good for most people, but if you have thick hair, stay away.
Oh, and the color was horrible. I had to go back the next day to get it corrected. And again «it’ll take 45 min» turned into 1.5 hours… NEVER AGAIN.

Was looking for a new hair stylist in NJ and I finally found her! Found this amazing place thru groupon called in for appt and they were able to fit me in the next day. Toni was my hair stylist she did an amazing job on my hair and definitely planning to go back again! Thanks Toni!

I just moved from Florida and bought a Groupon for this salon with no idea how it was going to turn out. Everyone was so welcoming from the start and Toniann was absolutely amazing! She took her time with me, listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job. I will definitely go back and recommend this salon and her to anyone!!!

Donna cut my hair. personable sweet and a good person to converse with. she did an awesome job with my haircut and blow out. Elaine at the front desk was super sweet and accommodating as well. prices were very very reasonable!

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for several years and really enjoy it. This is the first salon in town I’ve felt a sense of «loyalty» to. The women there remember my name and ask me how stuff in my life is going. I try to get there at least every six weeks, and my visit includes a wash, a cut and a blowout, all for only $ 40. I’ve seen other people get highlights and formal styles and they seem to come out really nice. The hours are pretty good, and they usually have a chair open within 20 minutes if I just walk in and ask for a cut (lately I’ve been making appointments, though).
