This place truly needs no stars. All the residents were complaining about the old management(Alexan Cityview) but ever since Harbor Pointe brought the complex it’s been one disappointment after the other. It’s a ghetto luxury apartment. It’s not the residents it’s the management making it this way. By the way the walls are thin. The shuttle is a joke. The drivers are trying their l best but the management would rather be cheap and not get a van that fits a lot of people but a tiny one that fits up to 12 people. Spoiler alert: long wait time. The upgrades that are soon to come is a slap in the face for the current tenants because they would rather upgrade than fix the problems currently in the apartment. Speaking of apartments the pipes and water heaters guarantee you coming home to ankle deep water.(Happened twice here) Keep looking and I promise that you can find something less with quality amenities.

I’ve been living here for 5 years and about 3 – 4 different companies have taken over this property… Let’s just say this is absolutely the most terrible one yet! Trash is always hanging out of the shoot and or trash room… And I haven’t been able to use any doors for about 2 months now because the fab keys and locks don’t work… So basically people have been leaving rocks in the doors to keep them ajar(real safe) !!! Anytime we have contacted management(which was about 5 – 6 times) they say it will be fixed in a week!!! And yes our bill is never correct or consistent! Maybe they should take care of existing residents and stop worrying so much about the food trucks coming here once a week! To be honest you shouldn’t have to bribe people to get good reviews!!! #lovewhereyoulive #sadexcuseforluxuruy

UPDATE from last: Manager said to call them to speak about my review… was told to leave a message because the manager was out and that i would get a call back that day… that was 3 weeks ago and I haven’t heard from them since. Like I said… much better places elsewhere

The only thing luxurious about this place is the high price. I went for a tour and while the leasing office looked fantastic, the apartments themselves are lacking. Looked at the most expensive apartment available and was absolutely shocked by the thin walls which allowed me to easily hear the next door neighbors music and the upstairs neighbor walking. Again for the price this is a rip off, especially since you need to pay extra for amenities, a pet, trash, everything!

IF I COULDGIVENEGATIVESTARS I WOULD. The place is not worth the money. And if you have to deal with the management here, they should be paying you money to deal with them for the terrible job they do. Oh, by the way the keys to the doors to the apartment buildings have not been working for over a month now. and management doesn’t seem to be doing anything but waiting for a freaking motherboard that only god knows on which planet it is being manufactured. Try Emailing them on an issue. You would never get an acknowledgement or a reply. Walk in to the office and ask why they never reply — «because the person who used to reply to emails has quit’. That’s the response i got. I have stayed here for over year. I signed a lease with with the previous owner. When my wife joined me later, i got her added to the lease. They updated all the systems, however did not sign the printed copy. Now when I need a proof of residence, i get a lease document with no signatures on it. The new manager here doesn’t know the basics of ‘service’. I wonder how service companies hire people who do not know how to service people courteously. they can’t give me any legal document as a proof of residence. They bought the business from someone and if someone did a shoddy work, it’s their shit now to deal with. Now I am being asked to reach out to the previous management. Or to resolve it with con-service that generates monthly bill letter and derives it from their system, they would not freaking call them on their own to have my wife’s name added to account. Con service and the leasing office keep passing the blame to each other why it is not working. I am supposed to call them and then make them speak to the manager as if I am her PA. WTF. Heights of shit service and arrogant attitude. I would not stay here even if they offered me to stay on half the rent. PLEASEDONOTBOTHERYOURSELF to get trapped here.

The apartment is true luxury living in a reasonable price range, compared to similar properties in NYC or the Jersey City area. However, the shuttle service that management provides to take residents to/from Grove St is laughable. The commute to Grove St itself is about 20 mins but if you plan to take the shuttle there during rush hour, you need to wait at least 30 mins to get in! The shuttles are very small(can seat only 12) and there are at least 50 people waiting to get to Grove during rush hour. There’s new management but they don’t seem to understand the plight of residents who depend on this service to get to work. However, if you don’t have to depend on this service to commute, I would recommend the place. There’s lots of open space, a gym, in house washer and dryer as well as a small club house and swimming pool. Most importantly, garage parking is $ 35 a month which is unheard of in this area! Unless the shuttle service is improved, several residents plan to leave the apartments.
