My onllne transaction elicited some erroneous info on my documents… yuch, so I knew I had to head to a real DMV office. Not far is the Beacon office. I go to Beacon frequently and it was not out of my way — so why not??? Well the list of why nots are long and arduous… No room… I got there at 920 am(they opened at 9), and there was not a slice of space, be it chair or standing to be had. I think they have a number system, but I couldn’t even see that. Wnen I looked for paperwork to fix my paperwork — it was all over. Since ALL the TWO clerks were busy, just finding the right form would assuredly be a half day venture. There is NO ventilation, sad for the workers but equally sad for those sitting there amongst a few unclean and toothless souls(phew). Right next to a young woman with a stroller, sat a teenager with an older woman(Mom, perhaps?)…well, I felt really bad that that toddler had to hear the disgusting loud expletives from that boy… and no one shut him down… and let me assure you they were pretty graphically profane. After a detailed assessment of MY situation — I opted to leave and go to another office. That was the best idea of the day.
