Saturday night Dj will not play anything but rap/​hip hop even though nobody dancing. C’mon nobody’s dancing and our party makes up the majority of the crowd.

The Barking Frog has friendly staff, reasonably-​priced drinks, good food, a TouchTunes jukebox, a pool table and darts. There is a fair amount of angular parking in the one-​way lot, but if it’s full, you can try the either the Dunkin Donuts or Asian Ginger lots across the street.
Save for the occasional scrap between a couple of random drunk patrons, this is a good place to go with a group of friends and should you get too piled up, Saferide (a free cab service) is available.

Always a good time at the frog. It’s great they have UFC fights now and all the bartenders are very friendly as well as the owner. Foods good and the crowds even better!!!

I love the Barking Frog. The staff is great, the food and drink has never disappointed, and its convenient to get to. Prices are always reasonable, and they always have specials, especially on football Sundays. They sponsor my local dart team on Tuesday nights as well, so I spend a few hours a week there most weeks in the fall, winter and spring.

The Barking Frog is a well managed place and the owner is caring. They have always been good to me and I have gone there for both karaōke and trivia. Trivia nights are hosted by John Bryan and he is one of the best quizmasters in the county.

Being home for Thanksgiving is often traumatic enough, but not quite complete without an annual Thanksgiving Eve depress-​fest at The Barking Frog. Make sure you’re looking your best, and in a good position to be put face-​to-​face with everyone you hated in high school, who will undoubtedly pretend they always liked you (thanks, Guinness) and make all efforts to engage in small talk. At that point, you can casually mention that (unlike her) you have no kids, no husband, no mortgage, no 15-​extra-​pounds-​around-​your-​middle, and minimal stress. Then you can saunter off to appropriately prepare for your forthcoming food coma.

The Barking Frog is all that you would expect from a little bar on a fairly major street in the outskirts of Beacon, NY.
That being said, it’s a great little place. The beer is cold, reasonably priced, and served with a smile from the bartenders.
Great place to go for a few drinks, and they often have live music there. I may be biased because my friend’s sister sings there sometimes, but I have a blast when I go.
No frills here — just a regular blue collar bar. Relaxing, entertaining, and perfect for a drink when you don’t want to dress up.
