LongHorn Steakhouse

Me and my boyfriend go here EVERY weekend and get the same meal. longhorn salmon with rice, fries and a Cesar salad. Muffin is the most amazing waitress there. She’s knows me and my boyfriends order and starts putting it in as soon as she sees were in the building. We only let her wait on us. There could be no wait at all and we would wait just so she could serve us. Ask for her she’s amazing and make sure you leave her a good tip :) !!

Today my husband and I wanted to get out, after being snowed in for a few days.
We decided to go to LongHorn for lunch.
The waitress was nice and friendly. I ordered the broccoli cheese soup, it was very good.
We both decided to order the Rib Eye steak.
My husbands steak was good, but mine had a lot of fat in it. Quite a bit of fat was left on my plate after I ate my steak.
The waitress was called over and told about my steak. She asked if we wanted
to see a manager. We said yes, the manager came over and asked what was wrong, I told him about my steak, he took one look at it and agreed it was a lot of fat left on my plate.
He offered to order me another steak and suggested the New York Strip steak. I agreed to that one. I took a small bite and took the rest home along with fresh steamed broccoli. I was pleased with the New York Strip.
I thought the manager was really nice and held the the situation very nicely.
I frequently visit this restaurant and will be back.

Service was good hair in salad wasn’t so great my stake was ok but greasy wife’s steak was over cooked and tough got two stars for service

Been here a couple of times over the last few years. It’s nothing great, but it’s not terrible either. I think the prices are a little high for what you get (smaller portions). But the food is tasty and the service is just so-​so. The last time were there it was for an early dinner on a week night so it wasn’t really that crowded, yet we didn’t see much of our server and after our food was delivered she never even came back to check on us or see if we needed anything else. We even had to flag her down just to get our check and it was only then did she ask if we wanted anything else, like dessert. No Thank You. In my opinion, I prefer some of the other local steakhouses around, but Longhorn isn’t all that bad. To Longhorn management/​employees: if you’re looking for ways to improve, please consider repricing your menu or added slightly larger portions and train your servers to be more consistent in checking on their customers. Like most people, we tip based on the quality of the service we receive. If you’re just there to take my order and give me the bill when I’m done, or if we have to hunt you down to get a refill on an iced tea, then you’re only going to get a below average tip. Great service is rewarded! And a friendly smile/​greeting will go a long way.

The best steaks around hands down. We frequent here for happy hour. They also have great boneless bites and the prices are very reasonable.

I took my parents here to buy them dinner as a thank you for puppysitting for me. My meal was good, but my mother’s steak wasn’t done enough. The waitress was very nice, but she must have been too busy to bring me a glass of water after I asked twice. Giving 4 stars because my steak was perfect and delicious, in addition to the pumpkin cake!

The food was acceptable, typical Darden stuff. Also typically Darden, overpriced. What drives me to review is the management. Complete idiots. We called ahead to make «reservations» and our name was taken, and we were told «we can get you right in.» We arrived at the appointed time to find that –shocker– no one had written our name down. Manager says «sorry for the confusion, it’ll be just a couple minutes.» After a half hour we complained. After 45 minutes and seeing two parties of the same number of guests walk past us to be seated, we complained again, pointedly. After 50 minutes, and my adult daughter actually walking into the restaurant, observing a finished table needing to be cleared, and suggesting to the manager that we might be able to sit at that table, they finally sat us. My wife’s drink was made wrong twice as well. I still tipped appropriately, because the wait staff has families too, but because of the idiotic and dishonest manager, and the incompetent hostess, we will not be back.

My wife and I eat here are few times a month. Service has always been good. Food is fairly good. Jeremiah was our server tonight and he was excellent. Keep up the good work

It wouldn’t be my first choice but it wouldn’t be my last. Servers are great and food has been consistent for the three times I’ve been. I have friends who have worked in the back of house who say it pays okay but employees aren’t treated the best but if they were longhorn would have no problem upping their game.

Was there yesterday, the meal I had was excellent. Have been a couple other times and definitely feel like it is hit or miss. But, yesterday was good!

Good experience as far as the price and the staff. However when you order a steak medium and get well done (and the piece of leather they served my girlfriend), it doesn’t make you jump and the prospect of coming back. That said, it was still edible and when I brought up the temperature of both steaks, even the manager came over to apologize and offered to give us new steaks (which I would never do, and immediately felt like an ass for even mentioning it).

Horrible service! Waited 25 minutes for water. This after waiting 45 min for a seat. Very inattentive staff.

This was my first time at Longhorns. I really enjoyed my food and the atmosphere. I had the grilled salmon salad. The salad was fresh and crisp, the salmon was cooked to perfection with great flavor. I will definitely be back for more of the entrees on the menu.

Been to this location twice once yesterday and one other time just before Christmas. On both visits had to return steaks. Asked for med-​rare and steak was medium well and meat was as tough as shoe leather. Best part of the meal was the salad. It was fresh and nicely chilled. But went there for beef, not salad !
I gave them two tries with same results, never again.

Every Longhorn i have been to always has great service and amazing steaks. I had the steak and lobster/​shrimp mac and cheese which was amazing. I always enjoy the honey wheat bread. My only complaint is that there is not one closer to Dover, DE.

Longhorn is the best place to come to if you are craving steak. The appetizers we got were out of this world — stuffed mushrooms and spicy shrimp! The bread is so delicious! The steaks were truly amazingly delicious! I didn’t even try the sauce that they make in front of you because the steak really didn’t it. The only drawback was the salad was big. They gave us a lot of salad instead of making it a light salad. We had no room for dessert but we left very very happy. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice and comfortable as well. The service was excellent!

Feel like service could have bin much better.
Not enough waitresses.
Had to ask for bread.

I had steak shrimp and baked potato.

My first time dining here. My best friend and I had lunch here. We settled on the soup and salad combo. The shrimp & lobster chowder was delicious. It had just enough kick to it no need for pepper at all. Then we had the grilled chicken & strawberry salad. I’m not a big fan of mixing fruit with my chicken but this went very well together. The mandarin oranges, pecans and raspberry vinaigrette dressing was very well balanced. The strawberries were fresh and very sweet.
The service was pretty good. We will definitely return for another meal.
