Love it! I’ve been eating here since they opened the food is delicious, the arabic coffee rocks and they are so friendly and nice. Their hummous and pita is some of the best I’ve eaten, and the fried eggplant and cauliflower is fabulous.

Top 5 restaurant in Beaumont! And probably one of the best kept secrets. The kebabs are tasty and flavorful… hummus appetizer is almost too pretty to eat, but it tastes amazing too.

Amazing food. Really fortunate to have this place in town. I would like to note that the kitchen hours are not accurate and tend to be closed up at 10pm. So don’t expect late night food. But it is definitely worth making the trip for! Have recommended multiple times and taken different friends.

Hands down best middle-​eastern in Beaumont/​Southeast Texas. Don’t let the location scare you – it may look seedy but the police watch the area all of the time and the food is first rate. The lamb kebob is exceptional and the classic sides (humous, baba ghanoush, dolmas, etc. are all excellent.

The ful medame and kibbe were fantastic. The sampler plate is the way to go so you can try lots of the appetizer options. Service was good and our food arrived in a timely manner.
My only complaint is that the restaurant is connected to a hookah lounge so there’s a smoky smell. It’s not that strong in the restaurant but it really sticks to your clothes. I would not recommend this place if you have bad asthma or don’t want to smell like smoke. I had to shower and change clothes after eating here because the smell was so bad.

Not as good as other reviews made it seem. There «tahini salad» is more like a cold soup w small chunks of tomatoes and cucumber, tasted kinda grainy. It was not good I sent it back and got the Greek salad. I wish the gyro had more lamb in it, I had to open it up and look to see if there even any in it… Food was ok, but we will not be going back…

Definitely the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. Super authentic, generous portions, and fair prices! Nothing I didn’t like about this place! Do yourself a favor and try it out if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent food. Just the right place to stop before the rush and traffic to Beaumont. I had the chicken shawmarma, juicy, could taste all the mint, mingled spices and a tasty sauce. Big sandwich too. The Baba Ghanouji was so flavorful and a good big side portion.
Hubby had the Philly Cheese steak and fries. Had good amount of steak, lots of cheese.
Stop here. So worth it!

This honestly has to be one of the best middle eastern food I have ever had. If you are looking for great food, customer service and smooth hookahs this is the place to be. I usually never give 5 stars but this place is an exception. I will be coming back for sure

I love shawarma and try it everywhere I go, so I had to try it right here in my hometown — Beaumont. We had the mixed grill (chicken, lamb and lamb and beef kebab) and Chicken shawarma. Meat is seasoned and tender. The saffron rice that comes with the mixed grill is pretty good. The only thing that is holding me back from 5 stars is the white sauce. If you’ve ever had the white sauce at Halal Bros., you’ll understand why!

Driving through Beaumont on our way out of Houston usually presents such fine dining options as McDonalds and Hardee’s. However we found Al Basha via a quick Unilocal search and they didn’t disappoint. I haven’t found Mediterranean food that flavorful even in Houston. The mixed grill is delicious, and I would order it again even just for their amazing saffron rice. My only comment would be if ordering take out to check your order and make sure it is correct. We had a couple of minor glitches, but the gentleman in charge quickly fixed them for free and offered us a free sample of dessert. It was so delicious we ordered take out again two days later while driving back home.

Been taking care of my father at St. Elizabeth for a few days and needed to get a good meal. After reading other reviews I decided to try Al Basha out. Driving into the parking lot at 2200 on a Saturday there was a tattoo parlor, I think hip hop club and a Alcoholics Anonymous office. So I wasn’t sure what to think. After going in I was met by Sandra, I sat asked for her recommendation and got the Al Basha mixed grill. When it arrived, the presentation on the plate looked amazing. Fresh cucumber tomato salad, rice, the meats were cooked perfect! The pita bread came out fresh, hot and soft. I would highly recommend if you are in Beaumont or just passing through!

Great food, potions, and service! It’s right off the interstate and definitely a stop worth making! The beef, chicken and gyro plates were great.

Who would have thought there is amazing Mediterranean food in Beaumont TX? The lamb chops are some of of the best I ever had. And the kabob meat is spiced perfectly. The saffron rice is fluffy and flavorful. The portions are huge. Did I mention it’s open til 2 am?

My friend recommended this restaurant but I was very good I just move from Denver use to a good place and good food but I was very satisfied and I will recommend it to anyone else

Stopped by on a whim and a Unilocal review. Excellent food and a great deal. The gyos was lovely and the kibbe was perfect.
We will stop again when in Beaumont.

and I dine there at least once a week! Albasha, serves the best Mediterranean delicacies; from a creamy plate of Humus to the deep fried succulent Falafels, not to mention their well prepared and mouth watering platter of mixed grill…
Just recently they’ve enhanced their menu by adding a wide selection of Arabic sweets. The Kenafah Nabulsiyah is a must try…
If you just wanna layback an chill, Albasha also has a Hooka lounge which offers fruit infused tobbaco.

We know nothing of Mediterranean cuisine but the positive reviews posted here brought us to this spot.
The seating area while clean is very basic — tile floor, plain dining tables and chairs, also two TVs that were showing Mid Eastern music videos. The cooking area is open to the dining section, so one can see how the food is prepared if looking in that direction.
The menu seems to offer a fair amount of dishes, of course all new to us. The waitress answered all our questions and also made suggestions.
We started with an order of Falafel that was rather tasty but also a little dry (by nature?), we asked for another sauce to be brought for dipping. Then came the Mixed Grill — a remarkable serving of grilled chicken, beef and a mixture of beef and lamb (Kufta) that was very flavorful. A curry rice, tomato/​cucumber (Greek) salad and pickled red onion/​black olive dish were on the plate, all was excellent and a treat for the taste buds. Accompanying this was the Gyro Plate — gyro with two sides — these being baba ghanouj and grape leaves, also delights that tickled the tongue.
As we were full and had plenty left we asked for boxes and were brought a small desert tray as well. I don’t remember the name but these were delightful and a great way to finish a new dining experience.
