Julie Rogers Theatre

This theater brings back so many memories. I used to come here all of the time to see plays like The Nutcracker when I was in elementary school. Julie Rogers is like one of Beaumont, TX historical landmarks. The newly renovated building is beautiful and up to date. The trimming and details of the buildings architecture is distinctly on of a kind.
I come here often to see shows and my baby sister participates in her schools all region choir performances. The acoustics in the theater is amazing! They offer fresh popcorn & drinks in the concession area. It’s a bit overpriced like at the movies but it’s expected. The popcorn is super SALTY and that’s how they make you buy the beverages. I’m a foodie so I’m critical when it comes to my favorite snack popcorn.
Parking is free and you can get closer parking behind the public library or near the civic center.

What a beautiful theatre! Absolutely gorgeous! Great sight lines, acoustics and free parking.
No food allowed in the auditorium but you can take drinks in.
We’ll come back out here from Houston in the future for sure!
