Madison’s

My wife and I love this place to meet with friends for Sunday morning brunch. The patio, on a sunny day, is the perfect way to start a relaxing day. BRUNCH has made somewhat of a come back recently and it seems that most places are trying to over do it. Madison’s dosent try to reinvent the wheel, just good, solid brunch food. Personally I love the Florentine omelet with a side of bacon and my gets bacon breakfast tacos… but if want a lil something extra they offer a killer breakfast burger, chicken and waffles, or the amazing hang over fries!!!
Madison’s has gotten the reputation of just being a late night bar hang out… which is cool and all… but most people forget that Madison’s has a pretty rockin food menu too! It isn’t going to be «OMG Incredible» but pretty darn close.
If you’re looking for a casual brunch, make this your next stop. You’ll be glad you did!

My SO has raved about this place since we started dating, so since we were in Beaumont, we HAD to check it out.
I can tell you, I honestly was NOT disappointed in this restaurant. From the $ 2 mimosas to the last bite of my burger, everything was well above what I was expecting (minus the water, don’t drink it — Even our waitress said it was gross!). I should make it known how huge the burgers are (check out my posted photos), and just like everyone says — The bun makes the burger. They are on the sweeter side, so they pair well with the Bourbon BBQ sauce, like I had on my burger.
If you find yourself in Beaumont, do yourself a favour and visit Madison’s for one of their famous burgers — If you aren’t 100% satisfied, I will retract my entire review!

Kid-​friendly brunch. There were many kids and they are able to play in the separate billiards area or on the stage out of the way of other diners. My 1yo daughter loves the carrot soufflé and mac n’ cheese. Food came out really slow every time I’ve been here, so it’s good they have room for kids to stretch in the meantime.
In the future I will stick to the brunch menu. The people in our party were really happy with the steak benedict. I ordered a gyro and it was more like a gyro meat fajita. It came in a tortilla with grilled onions and peppers and no tzatziki. It wasn’t necessarily bad but it certainly what I consider a gyro. (Lamb, raw chopped onions, cucumber, tomatoes with cucumber sauce in a pita USUALLY).

I haven’t too much experience with Madison’s to post a very good review … I was in there one evening with a friend and we had a couple of beers … The beer was good and cold … The staff person was friendly and because of that I will probably return there sometime in the future … !~

Came here for lunch. Had great service and good food. Left with a smile and a full stomach. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Also looks like it had a fun night scene. Look forward to coming again.

Just walked out of this restaurant because it’s a Tuesday night and we waited 30 minutes with no greet from a server, let alone drinks or even a menu to look at. I even approached a server and asked if we could get a few menus to look at, she said she’d send someone over, and then nothing. There was one large top on the floor, but that’s no reason to leave other guests sitting there without being served. I hope whoever Madison is gets it figured out soon.

Not sure what was going on the Sunday afternoon we came in but it took forever to get service of any kind. I think all the staff went out the night before and called in that day. Just assuming…

Mine and my husband’s food was delicious but the wait was forever being the only people in there for lunch. It took 30 mins to get it. It was worth the wait though.

Food is great but the service is usually very slow. That still won’t keep me away though. Everyone seems to flock to this place!

I have always loved Madison’s since it opened. However, I just wanted to let you know my grandma wanted you to know she was in Madison’s this week to eat for what I believe was her first time. She went on and on about how good the food was, which I already know is one of the best in Beaumont. However, she insisted I let you know she was extramly impressed with the wait staff she had as well. She has not been able to eat out lately because my grandpa has been diagnosed with late onset Alzheimers and recently was placed in an assisted living facility. I just wanted you to know how much she enjoyed her experience. Also, she NEVER EVER speaks of a restaurant where she experienced not only great food but great service as well. I appreciate that she was well taken care on one of her first outings more than you could know.

Food has been great lunch and dinner 100%. However, my complaint is the horrific ‘new’ nighttime DJ on the patio. I’ve been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt for MONTHS. Any legit DJ knows better than to play more throwback early 00’s than current rap/​hip hop or even pop… And his use of country music interludes is even worse. This guy. He’s wearing an Angry Bird’s shirt every time. I’d be embarrassed to bring one of my out-​of-​town friends here when this guy is DJing.
I’d like to start by appologizing for being so negative towards whatever DJ was present and working at the time. Instead of deleting my review, I’d like to change it positively. Every DJ is obviously entitled to their own opinion, and although mine may not have agreed with his on that specific evening, I’d like to think that DJ’s are artists at their very core and that this specific human had a different viewpoint or genre in mind that evening. I’m incredibly appologetic and will make my best effort to spread the word of the stellar place of business that Madison’s is. Thanks again to your incredible service to our community.

The burgers are amazing. They also make some great drinks depending on the bartender. The music is great. Some nights the staff can be slow and we have had a couple of occurrences where we were overcharged for our drinks.

Sunday brunch: been here a few times for it overall it’s very good the eggs Benedict with crab is by far my favorite, big lump crab meat and their home fried potatoes are great.
The steak and egg combo could be better, the sirloin they have is a good cut but they seasoned it with what tastes like some McCormick generic steak seasoning which really takes away from the flavor of the meat… it’d be good by itself.
Mimosas are good, but their bloodies are sub par. Overall not a bad spot for brunch.

Amazing burgers and amazing food and drinks. Cant beat this place out with a stick. Just that darn good of a place.

I was just here two weeks ago. The food is fine but the service is SLOW! I have been here 3 times and each time it has been the slowest service I’ve ever seen. Surprised they are still in business. I’m not sure how they are staffed, or maybe they just don’t care, but 30 minutes to get beverages (even soda) is a problem.

Food was very good. Had the grilled salmon. Atmosphere was okay but it was a Monday night. I can see where it would be more fun on a weekend. I will try it again next time I’m in Beaumont.

The shrimp po boy was disgusting. Not only did it taste horrible, there was only 4 little pieces of shrimp on the entire sandwich. This was probably a good thing considering the taste. The service was also mediocre at best. Overall the food was so bad I would not even serve it to a starving homeless man on the side of the road. DO NOT GO HERE

The food was cold… server was obviously drunk and the manager/​owner was a dick… I think his name was Frankie or Frank. Short man with a complex.

I came here on a Sunday just looking to have a drink, but it ended up staying all night.
A new thing they have on Sunday’s is dueling pianos. It was great to hear all sort of songs in piano form, but I feel to get the most of dueling piano, you need to be rowdy and drunk. As a working man, I couldn’t fully partake.
Nearly all of the tables were full so we moseyed up to the bar. I think sitting at the bar is better anyways because the bartender/​waiter is always near. After quickly being served out first Shiner Bocks we perused the menus.
An immediate recommendation from my friend were the bacon wrapped shrimp with jalapeño. The Delicious concoction takes delicious shrimp, removes the veins them, shoves some jalapenos inside then wraps it all up with bacon and covers it in cheese. for one, it could be a meal, for two it is a great and big appetizer.
Since I ate earlier in the day I planned on ordering something light and taking the rest home. I first attempted to one of the «new» fish dishes, but apparently the menus are «old» and they no longer serve fish dish A. I was equally delighted to order the second fish dish which was tilapia with harvest rice and two sides.
When the dish came out, i said to myself «wow, i am going to be taking a lot home.» However, hat was not the case. Although the tilapia fillet was enormous it was perfectly cooked, tasted amazing and I ate it all!!!
For what initially seems to just be a bar, the food here is amazing!!! I will definitely come back for seconds.
