You gotta be kidding me. In the most positive vein, I will aver that our waitress was a blessing. Attentive and prompt. Pizza. What a glorious concept. So poorly executed. The center third of the crust was wafer thin and a soggy, greasy mass. The entire pie was near room temperature. Disgusting. Off my list.

What a pleasant surprise! Not being familiar with downtown Beaumont I relied on Unilocal reviews to find this place and I was not disappointed. Good, solid, family friendly Italian cuisine. From the outside it looks a little like generic sort of sports bar so when we opened the door and looked into a cozy Italian dining room I knew we were in for a treat. We came in 20 minutes before their scheduled closing time but we were seated promptly and our server was courteous and the food was delicious. No one at our table ordered pizza but the folks sitting at the table next to us did and it looked fabulous. My daughter ordered spaghetti and meatballs which is pretty much the acid test for Italian restaurants and I was pleasantly surprised. It was second only to the spaghetti and meatballs served at Mario’s Italian on 61st St. in Galveston. I might have to go back to Beaumont sometime in 2016 and if I do we will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Been to this downtown location as well as the one on Calder and the one in Vidor. The food is excellent and the staff is very nice. Moderately priced and very satisfying!

I think this place is the BEST pasta & pizza restaurant in beaumont. I ordered from the lunch menu and it was tasty but still good price. I have to try their desert next time!

We weren’t sure if they were open in the evening since they’re Open sign was burned out, but luckily, it was! Sweet server who thankfully let us know that it was only her third day to work there, but she did a good job. I ordered the Tour of Italy, and it was DELICIOUS. It kicks Olive Garden’s Tour of Italy’s butt ANY day. A favorite lunch spot for sure!

We were driving through town and found this place on Unilocal. It was not hard to find off the interstate. Service was excellent as was the food. Ordered chef salad that was very generously portioned. They did not skimp on the toppings. My husband ordered the grilled chicken salad and was also pleased with his portion and taste. The kids ordered a pepperoni pizza which was also good. I would like to add that the bread and oil served at the beginning of the meal was delicious. The fresh garlic was a nice touch. When the musician started to play we felt we found a gem! We will be back when driving through. Great find!

I’ve been here in the past and not only do they have amazing pizza and pasta, but their salads are hit too! I had their shrimp salad and it was loaded with the best grilled shrimp ever. Plus their bread it hot and buttery! I went during lunch time and although there was a lunch rush, I was still able to get in and out quickly.

This is one of our favorite places in town. Family owned and the atmosphere is cozy. Sinatra is often the music of choice if it’s not live. I rather like their Caesar Salad and caprese salad! I usually get one or the other. Caprese is a great appetizer to share. Their pizzas are very good. I’m a fan of the NewYork, New York. Sometimes they have a Dinner special which is always worth trying! The lamb special with garlic potatoes is not to be missed.

Doing a little summer road trip and decided to stop in Beaumont. Found this place because kid likes Italian food and it looked promising on Unilocal. We were not disappointed. The place inside was quaint and nicely decorated. Service was quick and friendly. Plus it smelled wonderful of pizza and bread baking in the oven. We had their lunch specials and tried the cannoli for dessert since someone never tried cannoli before. Everything was fresh and delish. Very worth the detour.

Tonight was my first time here with hubby. We were seated right away even though they were pretty busy for a Friday night. There was a one man band playing/singing some good songs. We had fried calamari to start off with. The size of it was pretty decent. We both shared a 12″ pepperoni pizza and spaghetti. Our total with a soda came out to be $ 34. Not bad for a date!!! All in all, food was great and all the staff were friendly. What more can you ask for?

20 mins to take my order. I had to walk up to the kitchen just to flag them down. Should’ve just left… Food was complete bullshit… It was nasty. A lasagna didn’t have no pasta on it… Just two thing ass pasta rings around the bowl and nothing but cheese inside. Did not get any service no refills. Nothing. Place is shit. Don’t go here… I REPEATDONOTGOHEREEEEEEEEE

Great pizza here and very friendly service. They have never disappointed when it comes to dine in or picking up our food. We also enjoy the live music that is played there on certain nights. Susan is always very friendly and happy to make sure we are taken care of. I won’t order pizza from anyone else!

The Italian food at this restaurant is As good as it gets. To be fair I reviewed Frankie’s and stated that it wAs the best Italian food in Beaumont. New York pizza and pasta downtown is equally as good. The veal dishes are superb. Atmosphere is great. Great place to go for a special occasion.

Love this location. We’ve been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. We really like the ambiance — nice low key lighting, tabletop candles and lounge music gently wafting in the background. It reminds us of the much-missed-Carlo’s. All waiters are attentive but we ask for Louis, he takes good care of us. Attached is a pic of a favorite dish — pasta w/olive oil, mushrooms, fresh basil and Italian sausage.

We stopped by New York Pizza & Pasta to have lunch on our route to BR since Katherine Catering on Calder Ave was closed on weekends. Service was ok but food was surprisingly fresh and good. I ordered the spinach and beef cannelloni in marinara sauce and it was delicious. My daughter said their pepperoni pizza was awesome too! I like they provided the hot breads while waiting for our entrees. I hate restaurants that served cold bread but here they served you hot breads.

UPDATE: So I have been here several times and tried various items since my first review. The pizza is good. The only slice I don’t like is their Margarita. Don’t order anything with chicken. I repeat, do NOT order anything with chicken. I have ordered several different items with chicken and time and time again the chicken is rubbery, bland, and tasteless. I feel like I am eating plastic. However, their Alfredo sauce is very light. Maybe it’s watered down, I don’t know, but it makes it a very nice light meal and doesn’t have you feeling the repercussions of a heavy sauce. Maybe it was just one of those days when I first tried their bread because it has been cheesy every single time since I have been back. Yummy! Expect butter as the accompaniment, not olive oil… just an FYI. The regular side salad is still ehh. If you really want a salad order their Caesar, but don’t add chicken. Best calzone would have to be their ‘Spinach Calzone.’ Mouthwatering! Their ‘Combo Dish’ containing lasagna, manicotti, and ziti with mozzarella cheese on top is a great meal to order if you are starving. It will fill you up! The strawberry cheesecake is good, as well as their german chocolate, but their Italian cream cake is somewhat dry. Prices are reasonable especially, their ‘Lunch Specials.’ Atmosphere is dark and romantic. Good place in Beaumont for date night — just don’t order the chicken.
