I had lamb chops! Good but not like awesome. A lot of fat. My friend had ribeye. Awesome. Scallops and shrimp delicious. Trout was very good. Pretty pricey was why I gave it 4 instead of 5. Choices steak instead of prime. Bring your wallet

After a great day of skiing at beaver creek. I’m sitting here at C bar(Beaver Creek Chophouse) having a beer and enjoying these awesome prime beef sliders and my friends are loving the oysters! I’ll definitely be back!

Just had a great meal at the Chophouse. Not only was the food delicious but the service was impeccable. Our waiter, Max, was informative and friendly without hovering. Can’t wait to come back!

As always, a fabulous dinner with friends at the Chophouse in Beaver Creek! Great atmosphere after a day of skiing! I highly recommend the trout! Perfect portion and the brussel sprouts were cooked just right.

The meal was actually ok, the service here is really hit or miss. Today my wife and kids waited for a drink refill that took 20 minutes. Understaffed and minimal service

Been coming here for years and our recent visit was pretty horrendous. Food and service was excellent however new manager and owners really don’t get hospitality, especially since nearly everything else is on point in BC. We had been given a gift card to the chop house because friends and family know we used to love going there. After our meal we attempted to use the gift card and were told it’s no longer valid due to new ownership. The manager on duty Meagan was rigid and rude not offering any solution and kept saying the same thing over and over again. I’ve worked at high end restaurants and this manager flat out just doesn’t get it. Look, I understand there is a new owner who doesn’t want to honor previous liabilities but that doesn’t mean they can’t find a solution to appease a guest instead of making the experience even worse! We are not tourists, we’re local homeowner’s on the mountain. We expected better service, especially from management.

We just went to the bar so this review is based solely on the experience in the bar. The positive was that they accommodated our group of 6(4 adults and 2 kids) right away. That is where my great experience ended. When ordering, we chose the grilled cheese on the kids menu for our 4-year-old. We asked if she could have ham on it to add some protein(note, ham appears is 3 other menu items.) It was at that point I was told that absolutely no custom orders were allowed because all sandwiches are pre-made in the morning and served in the evening. So, you’re telling me for an overpriced sandwich you can’t pull the bread up and slap a piece of ham on there? I mean, I guess not. We even asked if we could order the similar adult entrée and take off toppings but again, we could not do that. To add to it, my 2-year-old ordered Mac & Cheese. I’m totally willing to pay a premium given the location, but it’s clearly Kraft Mac & Cheese and not made all that well. Food aside, the service was horrible. We had to track the waitress down 3x for different things. We were fully prepared to buy another round of drinks but couldn’t get the order in and worried we would never get our check if we did so. When the waitress brought the check she was apologetic explaining she had been there all day. While I somewhat feel for her, I work in client service and blaming your work hours upon presenting the bill and only apologizing at that point seems like a last ditch effort to save your tip. That said, I of course still tipped her well because she obviously works very hard. I don’t think we will be repeat customers though.

We went with a large group and they accommodated our group extremely well. We came during the restaurant week in Vail and Beaver Creek. I went ahead nod ordered the weekly special which I think was a great choice because I got to try a few things. The field steak with carrot cumin and the ORiley potatoes was extremely delicious. I would definitely go back.

Excellent patio at the foothills of Beaver Creek Mountain. In fact, I made our vacation plans around this patio. Such a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. The food is excellent as well. Make sure guy visit the Chophouse while in Beaver Creek.

What a disappointing evening. We have visited BC since they opened every time we visit(2x a year) — we love the view at base of mountain and expect to pay a premium for that. My caesar salad was brown, my son ordered a burger medium with bacon came medium well and no bacon, my husbands $ 49 bone in NY steak was like a flank steak and my filet was good. Wine and scotch were good. But with as many choices as there are in BC and Vail this will not be one we re visit. Nice waitress, the manager was rude. Also the ladies room was filthy. I have never posted a negative review on any restaurant EVER. We returned for a fabulous lunch as they invited us back to give them another chance. We are so happy to report that our food was delicious, service always is good and I will change our star rating… it’s worth it

I went to this restaurant while on a conference with my job on June 20th. I can’t tell you anything about the prices, because I didn’t have to pay, but the food and service was really good. The restaurant was closed for our party, so I don’t know how the service is usually. We started out with a salad that wasn’t very tasty to me. Since, I never saw a menu, I can’t say what it was. Next came out a mini crab cake that I thought was absolutely delicious. The outer crust was crispy, but not too crunchy and very moist and flavorful on the inside. Didn’t have a lot of filling either. For dinner, we were served steaks(medium). The steak was so tender and juicy that it seemed to melt in my mouth. One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. One the plate was also grilled cod, but I am not a fan of cod, so I didn’t eat that. The asparagus wasn’t cooked to my liking, but it wasn’t awful and the mashed potatoes were yummy. One thing out of place was one of the waitresses refilled my Sierra Mist with water because she didn’t realize what I was drinking and didn’t ask.

Excellent meal. We had steaks, crab cakes, special mac & cheese, asparagus. Comparable to the beat steakhouse meals we’ve had. Pricey, but not out of line with the quality. My daughter thinks it’s the best kids menu meal ever(6 oz filet and baked potato).

I have been here times before for their yummy bloody Mary’s. Today I went returned and ordered two because I’m on vacation and love them! My waiter looked at me weird re asking, «you want two?».(I almost felt judged) Then returned to his staffing talking about our table as I looked over he was whispering to other waiters while looking me in the eye. I paid the bill and cash and he returned my change, as I sat outside talking with friends he took the check back which o had not entered a tip in. He returned asking why he had not received(which I thought was extremely rude). I simply replied you took the check to look for your tip before I had left. I had not configured a tip yet and was planning to leave it in the table. He was extremely rude and I will not return because of this.

This was an amazing experience. We ate here after a fun day of skiing. There was a magician going around to the different tables to entertain the kids. The atmosphere was very nice. Something about the place just gave it an old world feel. They did have a nice wine list and an extensive scotch list. We all ordered a steak and everyone was very happy with their food. For me the cream spinach was probably the best I’ve ever had at any steakhouse. I would definitely suggest getting that if you go. We will go back next time we are in Beaver Creek.

2 dollar oysters while you are looking at the lifts? Yes please! They had about 5 choices of oysters too. The bloody was great(and I am a Bloody Mary whore) and the bartenders were friendly and cool. All I had was a dozen oysters and a bloody but that may have been the best money I have ever spent eating at the base of a ski area.

Bartenders was rude because I did not want to order a drink. I was waiting to board the sleigh to Beano’s. I said ok, I am sitting at your bar so do you have a to go cup with a Cabernet? She said no, but we do have a smaller portion that you can order while you wait. So I ordered the small Cabernet for $ 7. When I tried to board the sleigh, I was told by the young lady holding a clipboard that I did not have a reservation. My group was already on board. Oh well, there is always a reason for everything.

I ate mold! I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and i bit into it and it tasted like mold! I turned it over only to find mold all over my croissant. It was awful! I lost my appetite after that. I told the manager and he asked me if i wanted anything else and I said no. My server seemed to care more about it than the manager.

My ski gang came out to Beaver Creek for a day out from Vail. At the end of a wind-blown day, Beaver Creek Chophouse proved an ideal location for some apres Located right at the base of the main ski lift, it’s steps from coming off the piste. There’s a warm welcoming atmosphere and we secured a table at 3.15. Now, reader, you may wonder why I’ve put in the time of our arrival That’s because we had an unexpected surprise. After we had ordered, we were surprised when they started coming round with champagne glassess. At 3.30, to great fanfare, they announced free champagne for all. Yes, seriously! My sister and I also enjoyed a lovely plate of freshly shuicked oysters, which were plump, juicy and so fresh that they needed merely a small squeeze of lemon though it came with a large variety of traditional accompaniments My sister spoke highly of her butterscotch schnapps coffee A perfect end to a great day’s skiing in Beaver Creek
