It was our first time here, and we couldn’t be more pleased!!! Our sandwiches were delicious and the service was fantastic. Everyone was genuinely kind! Thanks a bunch Jersey Mike’s staff!

You typical Jersey Mike’s. Meaning if you’ve been to one, then you’ve been to this one. They are very consistent which is a wonderful thing. The service here is good, and the food comes out super fast. The restaurant is clean, and there’s a good sized parking lot that’s shared with Winan’s and a smoothie place. I would come back.

There are few things as excellent on this earth as a well-executed sandwich. The combination of savory meat, salty cheese, and crunchy veg, all wrapped up in a fresh-baked bread that walks the balance between crusty exterior and soft, pillowy interior… sandwiches can be magic, children. Subway, if you read my reviews, has my eternal ire for defacing proper sandwiches. Luckily for me, Dayton has no shortages of other sandwich shops, though I hadn’t visited Jersey Mike’s before, despite its proximity to one of my favorite smoothie stops. So, en route to a freelance writing meeting down in Xenia, I decided to stop by and see if Jersey Mike’s could hold a candle to some of the other sandwich shops in the area. First thing to note: Jersey Mike’s has a deli slicer right on the counter. And, what’s more, they use it. Every meat and cheese for my Italian was freshly cut, in front of my eyes. There were no pre-sliced meats or cheeses here, pulled out of deli cups or the like. These guys started my sandwich right. The bread at Jersey Mike’s is a soft, white loaf, which could have used just a touch more crust for my taste. That said, it held up well to the sandwich interior and kept everything together nicely. I could have done with a little stronger dressing, personally – the oil/vinegar/seasoning blend that comprises Jersey Mike’s dressing was a touch weak; some mustard might have helped, but none in sight. Overall? Jersey Mike’s is affordable, quick, and so much fresher than many of the other sandwich chains around. They’re worth your lunch!

I just found this shop a few days ago. The food is great but even better is the customer service. The workers make a personal connection and it doesn’t seemed forced. It’s great to see the meat cut in front of you. Ingredients are fresh. I will definitely be back and recommend to others.

By far, the best chain sub sandwich shop around. I have only had the Reuben here and my boyfriend has had the California chicken cheese steak… but both sandwiches were delicious. There’s far less variety offered here, than say… a Subway. But it wasn’t concerning, as everything tasted fresh. They seem to only offer French bread… but as another review stated… every sandwich is good with French bread! The staff is friendly and quick. And thank you for being open at 10:00am! That’s a huge plus, as many places around here don’t open until 11.

Jersey Mike’s is a franchise, but a good one at that. Subway has gone down quite a bit. Their sandwiches are mostly bread with precut meats. The vegetables are average and not fresh looking. If you ever had a port-a-subs sandwich, this is the same thing. They have cut to order meat and give you plenty on there. The vegetable choices aren’t as many as Subway, but that’s okay. I always get it Mike’s way, which is onions, lettuce, tomato, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend and spices. No fancy bread choice, but what sandwich doesn’t taste good on a French roll. Don’t settle for a blah sandwich, come here for a good deli sandwich.

I honestly love jersey mike’s. Their subs are the best… but I have to say that when you are asked by the credit card machine – if you would like to leave a tip – I find very tacky. This is a cheapskate way of telling their customers, «hey, we don’t pay our employees enough, so we’re going to pass that responsibility on to our customers.» Do us a favor and drop that request from the menu.

The service is always really fast when I go for lunch. There is usually a line, but they move ppl through quickly. I usually get a salad(sub in a tub), but the sandwiches are great and always taste super fresh. I always get whatever I order«mike’s way», which is tomato, onion, herbs and oil/vinegar. Yum! The employees are friendly and helpful. Definitely give this place a try!

One of my favorites but they’ve obviously had to cut back on the meats to keep the pricing. They still have great fresh breads & good sandwiches plus a good & friendly crew.

They are my new fave in town for many many reasons. First, the sandwiches are«the bomb» baby! The meat is freshly sliced, nice and thin just the way this girl likes it! They do not have a plethora of toppings like subway but ladies and gents this is NOT subway. They don’t masquerade as such either. They are proud of their creations and it shows in the attitude of their wonderful employees. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Not only are they friendly, they always engage in genuine conversation. You feel like family in there. They are also extremely clean!!! I swear you could eat off the floors(not that I recommend it). I am one of the few that does not get their sub«Mike’s Way» only because I have some dietary restrictions. I have tried it though and I DO recommend it. You will not be disappointed if you do it «your» way, though. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jersey Mike’s. You just have to try it for yourself!!!

Yum, yum, yum! Tried Jersey Mike’s shortly after this location opened. The Club Sub(#8) is delicious. There is something tantalizing about their bacon. :) My hubby likes the Italian. The larges are just that. L-A-R-G-E. They freshly bake their bread, but your only choices are white or wheat. Or you can get any of the subs in a wrap(never tried that though). You go to the counter and tell them which sandwich you want and they slice your meat fresh. Then they have a small assortment of toppings you can add to your sandwich for free or you can just get it «Mike’s Way» — which is lettuce tomato, onion, red wine vinaigrette, oil, and spices. Really good. Been back here several times and never had a bad sandwich. Food gets five stars from me. The service however is more of a three. EVERY time we’ve gone there’s been confusion from the employees for one thing or another, despite having at least 5 employees working the counter. First time we went we got charged for an extra sandwich, and on our last visit, they did the same(luckily both times we caught before leaving). Almost always they are SUPER slow topping and wrapping your sandwich. Granted the subs have always been correct and tasty, but a little hustle would be appreciated. Make sure you sign up for their rewards card; you get it scanned each visit and earn points you can redeem for free sandwiches. Give it a shot; try not to be put off by the shoddy service, the sandwiches are really great!
