I wanted to write a good review as my shopping experience went very well. I was helped by Ian today and I really appreciated the effort he took to find the right ink cartridge I was looking for. My previous experiences shopping there haven’t always gone so well and a lot of the employees hardly give me the time of day. This was a very nice interaction and I highly appreciate it!

I’ve been going here for the last 6 months to get invitations etc printed for my graphic design company and the ladies in the printing department are phenomenal!!! Great customer service and they know how to work with various file formats. Great job guys! You got me!

I am pretty impressed with this box store office supply. I have shopped the competitors and find this to be a nicer location and staff. I can ask any associate and get quick answers, and taken to the item I am looking for! I have made many purchases here, including a computer which was actually a lower price than Bestbuy. They are soft on the upsell for insurance on items, which drove me from the Officemax store. Officemax is high pressure in your face selling… no thanks, just need toner, not a car… Good staff, good selection, good location… It’s all good!

I didn’t think customer service at an office supply store could be this terrible. Walked in to an almost empty store. 1 cashier, 2 people in the print center and a manager roaming the floor. Cashier — didn’t greet us. Went to the print center where there were a person in front of me, me and then someone came in behind me. Somehow, somewhere this facility thought it was good service to triage customers based off of presumed time/workload. What does that mean for you? It means you can get bumped again, and again and again because people with«quicker» projects can get help. This theory makes sense if you don’t care about service, score 1 for whoever created it. Once we finally got helped, all I needed was a notary stamp. This person types away and prints something for a signature, it’s missing my address. Let her know and she said she would print a new version and get my address. She also is looking at the Notary paperwork which provides an example of «Jane Doe». This chick asks«if I am making the stamp for Jane». No joke. Before I can correct her, maybe it was the look in my eyes, she realized it was the example. Then she asks why the commission number doesn’t match my address. That’s like saying«your phone number doesn’t match your name… Why?!» Anyways she prints the form again, it states«Oregon notary» and«black ink» with my personal information but no notary number or example of what it looks like. I asked if the order form is supposed to give an example of what it looks like, just to make sure we are ordering the right thing, she said no. Then she indicated I had to pay right then to get it ordered. But she couldn’t provide any evidence of it being ordered correctly. When I asked if we could order it today and pay once it was in(and the right stamp) she said no. I told her that I didn’t feel comfortable paying and ordering something without seeing a mock up or at least have some confidence in the system. She then says«no manager is in the store» which I know is not fact, there is always a lead on duty. She said that she was new and the people helping in her department«know nothing»… She then asked if I can come back«in like a week». When I asked if that was to pick up the stamp and would Wednesday work, she said«no it was to order the stamp» I became enraged. I grabbed my things and left as politely as I could. I was in on a Tuesday and I was being asked to come back in 8 days to do what I just spent 30 minutes trying to accomplish. Never again Office Depot. Your customer service is terrible. No apologies, no ownership to solve the problem, just a «well you are out of luck come back in a week and try again… FOR A STAMP.»

As a self employed ‘Mole Trapper’( ) I send 20 – 50 invoices per month I need to restock my office supplies every three months. I received a coupon in the mail and I attempted to use it today for CD-RW disks(backup company Quickbook) and other items. However the disks fall under the ‘technology’ category. I was told I could not buy the disks with this coupon. This IS the only reason I went to OD today. I requested to see the mgr. I was prepared to take all my items back to the shelf when the mgr said he would accept the coupon for said items.(I was prepared to go to Fred Meyer or Wal-Mart) Three times I insisted to not buy the disks, but the mgr said okay! I have been a OD shopper for 26 years.

Poor customer service. Just stood in line for 20 mins without a single greeting from anyone and there was another customer in front of me that had been there longer. I can go somewhere else to ship and print stuff with better customer service.

AVOIDPURCHASINGELECTRONICSFROMTHISLOCATIONATALLCOSTS! While recently looking to replace a computer, we found a machine that met our needs and happened to be on sale for an excellent price. Considering that it was the last day of the sale, we were happy to find that this Office Depot still had one in stock. But this is where the satisfaction ended. The only unit they had in stock had been opened, but the cashier and an apparent manager were quick to assure us that it couldn’t possibly have been a customer return because they«send all returned computers back to the manufacturer» and that it had probably only been opened so that someone could«see what it looked like or that everything was there». I was a bit weary at this point, but they were closing soon and we didn’t really have time to go to another Office Depot location that evening. We ended up taking their word for it and purchasing the computer. As I began unpacking and connecting the computer everything seemed fine, until I turned on the machine and was greeted by a login screen instead of a Windows setup screen. The computer had apparently been sold to, configured, used, and returned by someone else before being sold to us. Despite the assurances of multiple store employees, we were sold a USED product and received a computer with a local business’s information and files still potentially on it. It is my strong opinion that the employees of this Office Depot location lack integrity and respect for their customers; I would encourage anyone to think twice before buying anything beyond simple office supplies at this location.

An obviously well managed team of people work here. Elisha was my cashier and even though I made her job as difficult as I think is possible, she never skipped a beat. She was smiling and friendly to the end. I do not expect much when coming to some of the Box Stores that populate the Beaverton area, but the entire staff I encounted today was helpful and friendly. I know how hard it is to maintain such a standard so… «Well Done»!

For basic paper supplies in a pinch Office Depot is okay. Prices are reasonable but nothing to write home about. Nothing really high end in this place but it’s an office supply store which it is. For basic office supplies and you don’t want to drive to Costco nor wanting to purchase a years supply at once then Office Depot will fit the bill. I will admit that it does have a good selection of digital store stuff here from USB drives, external hard drives, DVD and CD’s. probably one of the better supplies I’ve seen. Better selection than Best Buy, but you’ll have to pay attention to the price. Some things are average or a little more expensive than you’ll get someplace else. It does have inside printing service but their prices are more expensive than FedEx Office(Kinkos) across the street and their turn around time is longer. Basically for a quick supply run to hold you over till you make your next large supply purchase place will do.
