This location has the worst customer service EVER! Today is the third time that I have been turned away for a basic procedure because the managing teller says no. I have both a business and personal account with Onpoint for several years now and have never been overdrawn. I bank at this location as a last resort because it is closer to where I live. I was trying to deposit a check for a friend whom was with me with a Government issued ID as well as a check from a well known company that she refused to deposit but I was told a different branch could do it. Meanwhile the teller I was speaking to asked for a drivers license from my friend 5 times, seriously 5 times! He had already explained he did not have one on him. I will be contacting there district manager with the names of both the teller and managing teller to complain. If it wasn’t for the outstanding customer service I receive at the Lake Oswego branch (which is reflected in the Unilocal reviews) I would have switched banks long ago! Do yourself a favor and avoid this location or use the atm.

Since PTCU became OnPoint, they have declined in every area. After a 20+ year history with this institution, I’m bailing.
1) With absolutely no income changes and an actual increase in credit score, they won’t finance a car for me. (Selco did with no personal relationship with me at all.)
2) For the last two months, the ATMs at the Teal branch won’t accept my paychecks (same ones I’ve been depositing since 2006.) So, I’ve had to go find ATMs at 7 – 11 to take my checks to and then make transfers online between accounts.
3)I can’t sign in to my account from my own phone or computer without answering additional security questions. It’s a HUGE pain in the butt.
4) I didn’t know that credit unions couldn’t hold deposits overnight so they put our money to bed at BANK OF AMERICA who I hate more than any other financial institution on the planet.
So Long. Your ad campaigns are adorable, but I’ll be financing MY little green house with the wrap around porch with Banner Bank.

Not an easy location with a crazy parking lot, but the staff I’ve been helped by have all been very nice, informative, and efficient. I haven’t needed to wait too long even when it’s a longer line, and they explain things clearly when I ask. I like that if the line is long an associate from the side will ask people questions to see if they can help them, instead of needing to wait in the line.
So far, I haven’t had a poor experience with the ATM like I did at my previous location. It’s a nice change that the staff doesn’t act like jerks. Been with this branch for well over four years now, and never had such a problem with services like at my last location.

If you work during their business hours good luck getting any help ever. Getting a live person on the phone is a pain in the ass. Also, a lot of the time I just need to verify what’s in my account, or I need to pay my bill and I want to do it online, but noooo. EVERY damn time I try to log in to the stupid website or use the stupid app, I get an error message. Even if I try back later that day or if I try back later that week. I’m not even asking for much here, just a working website. Not much better than any regular bank I’ve had to deal with.

So I thought I’d give my own experience at this branch, because reviews really are a personal thing.
I’m brand new to OnPoint, being a Wells Fargo customer for so long. They were driving my crazy with random fees and inconsistent banking practices. So I took my money out and went next door, literally! Got a savings, got a checking, got two accounts for my daughters… easy as pie.
So then I started thinking about taking advantage of the low interest rates for a refinance. That’s when I contacted Steve Bartholomew… the same gentleman reviewed down below. I consider myself an incompetent when it comes to finances, especially mortgages. I started with an email to Steve, and soon after setup a time to go in and talk directly. I’m writing this review after just going in and talking with the branch manager about Steve’s service just now… we are signing on Monday.
Steve Bartholomew was amazing. He held my hand through the whole process, explained everything in a way that even I could understand and I don’t feel incompetent anymore.
He saved my bacon. He got me out of a TERRIBLE loan situation that I wasn’t even aware I was in, and into a very stable loan with a fantastic interest rate. He called me on the phone countless times, we emailed back and forth constantly through the process, I felt as if he was always looking out for my best interest… how to get me out of that terrible loan AND how to save me as much money as he could in the process.
I’m VERY happy with this branch, and VERY happy to give Steve Bartholomew five stars for his awesome service with my refinance. I definitely recommend him if you are like me, and know very little about home mortgages.

Okay, so now we’ve been with OnPoint for about a year, and let me tell you now: Stay away. Stay far away.
Their mortgage services are useless, both on the phone and in the branch. There is a massive disconnect among their depatments, such that no one person can actually give you the information that you need while also being able to accept payment or account information to let you take care of it. Oh, your Automatic Payment we pulled was the wrong amount? Weird! Here’s a late fee for our mistake! You got a number you owe over the phone? Great, let’s go to the branch to pay it. Branch tells you a different number, it is completely wrong but you pay it because hey, I’m not the one at the teller station, you get a notice in the mail that your payment was either late or for the wrong amount.
Well crap! You call in, they say the teller couldn’t have even seen the correct amount that you owe, but no, you can’t pay on the phone or online, so go back in on Saturday morning and hope for the best. And then, call us back to make sure that everythings fixed.
An hour on the phone later, I’m thinking I’d never work with this mess again.
If you love micromanaging the accounts you have set up, this is your place. AutoPay means nothing. Nothing useful, at least.

I recently opened a checking and savings with OnPoint and Claudia, one of the Member Service Representatives, who works at this location, could not have been more pleasant to work with.
The experience was cool, casual, yet effective and formal. Definite props to OnPoint and how they run their operations. Short and sweet — a great experience.

I give this location four stars because there is never a line, and they have two ATMs right next to each other so there is never a line there either. There is always plenty of parking too, since most of the businesses around on point are no longer there. I only have basic banking needs, so when it comes to that on point is about the same as any other credit union for me.
