This place was horrific! But if you like that two cent hooker look I’d suggest you come here, otherwise stay away. I got a set of solar nails here and they were horrible! So thick and wide and also they guy wouldn’t listen to what shape I wanted. When I told him for the third time I wanted them rounded, he rounded the corners of my square nails. He was so rude. I literally had to go to another place to have them reshaped right when I left. They were so bad I had to come back the next day to take them off. I was in so much PAIN! I had to take advil to go to bed my nails hurt so bad… cuz they were so thick! When I came back in he had such an attitude, even more then before. I was so polite and he just looked at me and said«you think that’s thick?!» And then scoffed at me! He began to take them off, and he didn’t say a word through the whole hour in a half process. Mostly me just soaking my hands. When it was all done he just said«you can go now.» No sorry, no let me fix this, no let me put some polish on the bare nails you just paid 60 dollars for… nothing! When I asked if I could get some polish on my nails because I hated to pay $ 60 for bare nails he said. «You paid for my work, I did the work.» Wow… just wow. I had been polite up until now but then I lost it. I finally got him to agree to put some dang polish on, but he told me I had to come back in three hours! What a frickin joke this place is. The guy, whoever he is must be a son of someone, otherwise I don’t know how he could keep a job without his mommy working there he was such an a$$.

Went to this place due to a positive review on Unilocal. It is close to me and prices are reasonable. I thought the tech was a little rough. When he literally drew enough blood that it dripped, I stood up and said, «Ok that is it for today!» I gave them one star because they took my money in advance and gave it back as I was leaving. Also, no apolgy. If you are going here take your band-aids.

Got a full French tip set and a pedicure once. It was a good enough job to come back. My boyfriend got me a gift certificate for Valentines day so on a Wednesday I was a walk in at 3 in the afternoon for them to tell me no they didn’t have time with only one person in there when they stayed open till 7 yet I drove by and they were closed at 550. Hmm… I have seen multiple times they would say they don’t have time to do a walk in, DONTSAYONYOURDOORWALKINSWELCOMETHEN. it’s that simple. I took off of work an hour early to make sure I could get in, and had to leave town by 630 made an appointment for 530. She had me waiting till 545 before I said something and she said in 10 minutes I can help you. WHYMAKEANAPPOINTMENTIFYOUCANTEVENGETINATTHATTIME. It’s beyond ridiculous and I’m done trying to go to this place. Never will go again.

I think they probably do a fine job for manis/pedis but I had a full set put on and I wasn’t overly impressed. Not much prep… Just scuffed the top of the nail and put the tips on. Asked for rounded but got square. I will agree with the prior comments in that this is an ‘in and out’ place… The employees talk to each other in their own language but didn’t do a whole lot of talking to the customers, which I’m actually okay with because it’s awkward to make small talk with someone I don’t know and who I have difficulty understanding. They did seem like really nice ladies. If you’re not overly particular about the overall outcome of your set, then you may be okay with this place because it wasn’t terribly expensive.

This was my first time at Oregon Nails after not having a lot of luck at other salons. I loved the color and was happy with the results; however before I even got home, the polish was peeling. I turned around and went back. A different technician tried to fix the problem, when the second round started to «bubble» again, she had me pick another color and spent a huge amount of time with me to remedy the problem. I would recommend them, they obviously want their customers to leave happy and will do everything within their power to see that you’re happy.

I want to like this place 4 or 5 *‘s worth, I really do, but there are some things they do that get in the way of that. First, the positives: they have a great neighborhood location, offer aromatherapy with pedicures(one of the best and most thorough pedicures I’ve ever had, mind you), and there is just a light and airy, relaxing vibe here. The stuff that isn’t cool though are the sneaky little charges. $ 3+ to take off gel polish, who charges that? I could see that making sense as a standalone service, but not when the polish is being removed so that I can get a gel manicure done there… I’ve been to many shops all over town and no one else charges this. Also, they didn’t tell me about it until after the service was done(not even sure that’s legal). On top of that, they run the little debit card-ATM scheme where they charge $.75 for you to use your debit or credit card(unlawful and a violation of their merchant agreement with the card providers such as VISA and MasterCard, I know because I work at a bank). If you decline to do so, they have a handy little ATM there to get cash less a nice fat fee. Dirty. Speaking of dirty, there’s some room for improvement here too. They seem clean for the most part and use an autoclave(fantastic), but taking instruments out of a drawer containing several others and using them right then and there is not clean. I would come back and would probably be a regular if they fixed this stuff, holla at ya girl.

I came in for a pedi~ Upon being seated in a massage chair, the gal handed me a list of possible add-ons to your pedi. For example, they now have scented sugar scrubs for your feet and legs. I chose the rose scent and boy was it heavenly! She massaged my legs and feet for quite awhile and the scent was so nice. She then followed up with a rose scented lotion… it was worth the extra $ 5.00. For $ 25.00 I got a GREAT pedicure!
