Starbucks

Every time I go in I ask if they can melt my sugar in the raw with the espresso before adding the milk so I don’t get mouthfuls of straight sugar. They say «ok» but never do it. Today was the same except the lady wasn’t calling out the drinks. I sat there and saw drinks piling up with no customers coming up to grab them. I see what looks like mine added to the group but nothing was said to me or aloud verifying what it was. I continued to wait while the lady ignored me. I’m a very frequent customer and am disappointed about this. I have posted a photo of the group of drinks that the lady was not calling out.

Consistently indifferent service, serving consistently indifferent drinks. Nothing to recommend here, except to just Not go here.

Just awesome! Quick service and finally tastes just like its supposed to taste, and the staff was so friendly!

This is my favorite Starbucks! All of the employees are very welcoming and make it a point to get to know you, beyond just your drink. I have been coming here for 5 years now, and although the staff has changed, the overall spirit has remained high.

The guy (he wears glasses) who helped me was not friendly at all. I have been observing how he treats other customers and it was totally different from the service I received. He did not make any eye contact, did not say hi, and did not tell me to have a good day. Why are most people who work at these Starbucks locations mad?

Yet another Starbuck review for me here. I can’t seem to get away from getting my fix when I see them. The people were nice here and it wasn’t too crowded so the drink came out fast, seemed like a more chill Starbucks than most.

Nice staff — always friendly. Love the new furniture and store design. La Boulange pastries really, really suck. Tiny, tasteless, cardboard-​ish. Bring back the good stuff: Portland coffee cake I miss you!!! The worst thing: Locked bathrooms, restricted to customers only. I’ve seen many people stand outside locked bathrooms waiting for phantom occupants. Finally, staff notice people doing the potty dance and tell them they have to come all the way around the store to unlock it. Nope, they won’t even hand over a key. They have become Toilet Gestapo. «No pooping for you!» What a waste of time — and it creates ticked off customers. The least they could do is hang a key on a ceramic coffee cup and make it available. Actually saw one poor guy come in and ask to use the bathroom — he was denied because he didn’t buy a drink. He said, «I’ll give you a buck if I can just use the bathroom.» Nope. He wasn’t drunk, high, or impolite. Just wanted to «go.» I suspect the staff hate being Toilet Gestapo. Rise up workers! Don’t let The Man dehumanize you by making you deny the right to the Loo!
Good News: Across the street is Jim and Patty’s coffee. Huge servings of fresh marrionberry coffee cake, pastries, and endless goodies. Yes, they’re quirky and strange but they serve delicious (kind of expensive) coffee. Bathrooms aren’t locked either! Goodbye Starbucks, I’ll miss your nice workers.

Today was the worst experience iv ever had at a coffee shop. I love coffee and today I much rather have just made my own coffee at home. I choose Starbucks because they always have delivered an experience that I enjoy, however this was not my experience today as well as last week. This Beaverton Starbucks has a hugh opportunity on creating positive guests experiences.
I ordered my coffee and waited over 15 minutes, once I recived my drink it was made incorrectly. I politely asked the barista if I could have it remade as I asked for only one extra shot and he poured 3 extra shots in it. His remark was you dont like it, most people would want the extra coffee and you weren’t charged for it. It was so strong that after one sip it upset my stomach. I had to ask again if he would remake the drink, I waited while 8 other drinks came out before my drink. Now I’m typically not someone to complain but when I pay for a cup of coffee thats five dollars I expect an experience that I can enjoy. Now the frustrating thing is I dont see how they messed my drink up. When I originally ordered my drink I had to repeat my order twice to him as he seemed overwhelmed and distraught. After the barista agreed to remake my drink he went to the same gentleman that took my order and money and had him make the drink. Whats gross is he never washed his hands from going from taking cash to making my drink. once my drink was complete the manager slopped it on the counter without a smile and left me feeling that it was my mistake. Once I recived my remade drink it was still made incorrectly. I left Starbucks today feeling hopeless, grossed out and just felt as if no one cared what I orderd. I refuse to pay five dollars for this experience!

Complete bs they will not open the bathroom door until your drink order is complete and paid for. This looks like a nice neighborhood devoid of homeless.

This is how all Starbucks should be. The people were friendly and fast. They made the drink perfectly and they were all friendly. Ryan said hello to everyone as he was making their drinks and was inviting and professional. Nice job.

I commend this location for being one of the few Starbucks these days, that still puts out the «grounds for your garden» for people to pick up. For avid gardeners, soil building is a year round endeavor.

This place was dirty and the service was very very slow for the fact that it wasn’t very busy.
I won’t be coming back to this location again.

I’m not a fan of this Starbucks. I came in on a Tuesday morning expect to get my drink fast, ended up waiting for almost 10 minutes. The barista was very slow.

This Starbucks does not have their isht together. I’ve noticed it before — slow, not organized and definitely not friendly. But today was the best.
My co-​worker and I walk in and there’s no one in line. Walk to the counter and the barista looks at us… and then pointedly looks away and DOES NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT AT ALL. We’re right there but she’s looking away, we can’t even tell if she’s going to take our order or not. We look at each other confused and then I try to order… and then she starts talkin to a customer she must know.
…ok.
Then she stops and takes our order like it’s the hardest, worst thing in her world right at the moment (doing your… job?).
Sorry, nope. I’m used to quality Starbucks service and that’s not even close. Plus my drink was made terribly but wasn’t worth complaining about to that lady at all.

Two stars is being generous. Not trying to be rude, but come on!!! Cashiers were awesome, but the baristas make the worst drinks. How can you make a venti white mocha taste disgusting??? Once, maybe. Twice, huh? But three times and can’t do it? Nope. How very disappointing. Probably why Dutch Bros leaves me happy everytime! Sorry Starbucks. Never with free will ever again!

I sometimes swing through here in the morning, and the line is always always long. And slow.
There’s always one poor schmuck working the register AND making the drinks, while other employees clean utensils or bustle in and out of the back room without apparently doing anything in the process.
If they operated like any other Starbucks in the entire universe, the line would go much faster.
(Or maybe it’s just a weird thing about 9ish am, and for the rest of the day they actually have more than one person at the counter helping customers.)

The girl trying to write here thesis checking in today from Starbucks off Beaverton-​Hillsdale in Beaverton. I have never been to this location, a friend asked to meet me here and so here I am, awaiting her arrival and pretending to write my thesis :)
My take on this location: decent, clean, larger than average with a lot of seating, friendly staff, the usual drinks.
The only possible problem I can see is lack of parking, it is somewhat limited out front but I didn’t have a problem finding it today.
I’d come back, it’s actually really convenient for me!
