Y NOT. Y not have fun, y not have a drink, y not do it all! Just went to the unveiling of the new bar last night and it’s awesome. The new management and staff is incredible. It’s great getting a new makeover, definitely need to check this place out if you haven’t been or if you haven’t been in in a while.

Went to play in the arcade and was disappointed because so many games were out of order. Ended up playing about $ 2.5 worth of 25 cent and 50 cent games. Too bad for them arcade that they had so many games not working. I would’ve spent more money there. Seemed like a decent enough space for a bar, arcade and laser tag room but didn’t stay long since what I came for wasn’t worth the time. Might try back again to see if they fix their games. Please fix the Star Wars game, Skeeball and Buck Hunter.

Great service and friendly bar staff! Bartender told me last time I was in that copper monkey is under new management and it definitely is for the best! She was attentive and accommodating to the large group I was with. This looks like it will be a regular drink spot for me in the future!

I can imagine the service being hit or miss if your looking to be waited on. And if that is the case don’t expect flashy waiters and waitresses to be zipping around. I personally prefer the infield bar seating and I have never had a problem. Happy hour drinks are decently priced but the main reason I visit copper monkey frequently is their food. The gorilla burger is fantastic I get it every time and it never dissapoints. 2 patties, cheese, blue cheese crumbles, some spicy mayo and probably the best bacon money can buy. If you can avoid being a stuck up person who feels they need to be waited on to have a good experience then you will enjoy this establishment. Mind you I am only talking about their bar/grill I have never been into the arcade or laser tag.

On a Saturday at noon the crowds were sparse and the game was much better for it. It’s clean, including the restrooms. Staff was very nice and helpful. The arcade out in front was great and I only saw one game out of about fifty or more that was out of order. My kids had a great time and with the discount coupon that you can download and print from their web site the price of admission is very reasonable(two laser tag games for $ 13). We’ll be back.

One of those situations where you walk in and nobody says anything so you don’t know if your supposed to seat yourself or not. Sat ourselves and looked at the menu for 10 minutes before anyone helped us. Btw it was 5 pm with less than 6 people in the bar. It was clean and the happy hour prices were decent. Got a few drinks, mozzarella sticks, and fried green beans. They were all average with minimal pizzazz. 5 mozzarella sticks and a plastic cup of marinara. Walked into the game room(which you can’t bring drinks into, we were told to put a napkin over our drinks) and found a very lackluster arcade. There were quite a few games along with their sequels such as Time Crisis 2 – 4. There were a couple«prize» games that actually didn’t reward you with candy/prizes when played correctly. Staff was pretty friendly. Waited 15 minutes to settle our bill after the arcade. Overall we were unfortunately underwhelmed. I will just go to Ground Kontrol next time.

Went in to the bar on a Sunday around 1PM to watch the Seahawks-Eagles game. There was only one other table in the place, who left right after we arrived. The woman behind the counter was on the phone and didn’t acknowledge us for ten minutes while we waited. Eventually I went up to the bar to see if she would take our order, but waited another five minutes while she continued to talk on the phone. Overhearing her conversation, she was trying to convince the person on the other end to let her close the bar at 4PM. It was quite clear she had no interest in serving us or anyone else. We left frustrated and found another place to watch the game, and spent over $ 100 there. If you’re going to operate a bar, the most important ingredient are paying customers. If you are going to be open, then be open, be friendly, and make it a fun place. But don’t be open and then treat people who come in and want to hang out there like an annoying nuisance. Perhaps this was a fluke day when a single unhappy employee was left to run the bar on her own on a day she really didn’t want to be there. However I don’t see how the place can continue to operate if sending customers away unacknowledged is the norm. We will not be returning to the Copper Monkey, there are plenty of other options around.

This would be a super fun place if the service was good. The bar service is abysmal at best.

This was our second fun activity of the day on Sunday and we were not disappionted. The games were afordable, $ 7.50 per person per game, and we were able to get right on in. We enjoyed playing my all time favorite game, Time Chrisis. They have #3 and #4! Awesome! Although several games were out of order, there were still plenty of games to play. The young man running the counter was very friendly as well as the other staff. All and all a very good experience

Stumbled upon this place and it was the best experience. Bartender was friendly and they have daily drink specials. The food is awesome and happy hour is 4 – 7 pm. They even changed the station so I could watch the current game. I definitely will be back

I came in with my son and a bunch of friends, April 15th, we didn’t get the bartenders name… but she was great! The food was excellent! I had been there one other time and wasn’t impressed, but tonight changed my mind completely! We played laser tag, arcade games(they actually have the old school arcade games), had happy hour, and shuffle board!!! Kids are allowed in the restaurant/bar area! We all had a great night, and will absolutely be back! Great family night out! Laser tag was huge, and very reasonably priced!

Came here for a friends birthday gathering and to play some laser tag. My partner and I only had drinks so i can’t attest to the food. As a place to gather between laser tag sessions for drinks it is great. The service was meh, so plan on going up to the bar to get your own drinks. Keeping with the ‘meh’ theme, when we were done, we all had to go up to the register to have our bills tallied. Several of us tried to get the servers attention but to no avail. Keep your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed.

I work right across the street from this place and for the past year have just driven past with out even knowing that this is a great place to get lunch, take a break, or go have fun. The service is good. Sometimes they need more help with the serving, but I am patient and they are very pleasant and do a really good job of remembering me. I have been there 4 times in the last month. I love just going over there to relax and get lunch. It is a very nice facility that is kept spotless. I have told all of my co-workers to do their best to go and try it out. Very nice and friendly!

It took 20 minutes to get the attention of a server. Then we had to send back our drink order. Once we got our pizza it had hair in it. Zero stars! There is one star, otherwise I couldn’t post this.

They have a great selection of spirits, lazer tag and some decent food. But the service with a smile is what gets me every darn time. We love us some sweet attentive Chelsea!

We recently went to the Copper Monkey for my husband’s birthday. There were several of us that paid the 22.95 for pizza, drinks and laser tag. That price was pretty great. The service though, was something to be desired. We had to ask them multiple times just to get some pitchers of soda and water. When we finally did, it was just one pitcher of soda and a couple of water. The pizza seemed to take over an hour and a half to come out after ordering(they weren’t that busy either). I kind of figured that gratuity would be added to the bill because of how many people we had in our group, I will state that the gratuity was definitely not deserved in this case. I was a server years ago, and I worked my rear off to make sure my guests were happy. I was very disappointed with the service we received. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

I give this place a 5 star due to the wait staff and employees! They were super duper friendly and helpful! We went here on Saturday March 17th(St Patty’s Day!) We ordered green beers and a bunch of appetizers. The waiter told us we get 5 free games if your order totals $ 100. which was no so hard due to our party of 9 people. I loved the cajun tatter tots! We had s much fun running around the inter galactic looking obstacle course and shooting beams at our opponents! Our team won!!! YAY!

Ok, Ok, I know picking somplace to eat because it’s in the entertainment book isn’t the way to set expectations. In all fairness, their ad didn’t say it was attached to Lasersport, but next to. Yeah I know 2nd warning sign. But in todays economy, we were trying to save a litle money, boy did we pay for it. On the plus side, salad plates were chilled, and the place was clean. On the negative side, we had to go get our own menus and silverware. Even with that the server didn’t know we were there till the bartender pointed us out and even then she seemed more interested in her friend at the bar then anything else. The food … well bland is the best description. We got the fish and chips no chips sub salad with blue cheese, and the swiss bacon alfredo. Did I say bland already? Presentation was fine, product was fine, service and taste… not so much. In final thought, if you’re next door playing laser tag, sweaty, starving, thirsty, and weak after having fun by all means wander in and blow some bucks, but you’ll probably be better off going down the road, anywhere down the road.
